Bit of an update. So I'm probably going to get computer unpacked and ready to go tomorrow and I can resume finishing up everyone's commissions. Thanks for being patient with me while I move and get situated again. :3

I have decided to move back to NY. However, I will need about $9k to do it. While I know I won't make that in commissions I want to open some just to soften the blow of the costs.

So... update. This past few weeks have been hectic.

Currently in Dallas apartment hunting. That's right, moving to Texas, when?

In three weeks... As usual, company I work for is great at giving me adequate time to pred and get ready to for a major move.

So it's fly back to PA on Saturday. Go to NY to visit family for a week and tell the the news and have mom get upset and cry over me not being within driving distance anymore. Then go back to PA, pack all my shit and drive cross country... AGAIN.

Super excited through and I really hope to have an opportunity to meet a lost of Texas peeps. :3

I need to open up for commissions, for...

Let's just say a while.

My father's passing has turned into a bit of a financial issue for me. Long story short, my father and I were business partners. Since him and I were 500 miles apart, I was more or less the financial backer.

Well, while going through his finances, turned out he was in a little bit of debt. And when I mean a little bit, I mean a lot. Sadly, because I was co-owner of the business. I am now financially responsible for paying off said debt.

So I kinda sorta need a second job as I blew all my savings on paying off some of the debt, and I have about.... Ummm....

Lets round it to $50,000, left to pay off.

So yeah, who wants some commissions? The goal is to try and make enough on commissions each month to take over my living expenses while my work income can work toward paying off $50,000.

Well Ill finally be back home tomorrow.

I will be able to resume my life. I still have a lot of things to sort out with my dad's passing but overall I'm ready to move on.

Hopefully, I'll be able to resume drawing shortly.

So busy week for me so far. Drove down to Raleigh, NC on Thursday to pick up my dad's girlfriend as well as a place to get my dad cremated.

Drove back up to Pittsburgh tonight as the drive from Raleigh, NC to Rochester, NY is about 13 hours. So stopped back my place to crash for the night.

Now to finish the drive up to Rochester tomorrow.

Once there, see everyone, watch a shit ton of people cry.

Now at this point, I have no idea what my dad's girlfriend is going to do. She needs to make it back down to Raleigh and I fear it's gonna have to be me.

She wants to stay up in Rochester for the rest of the month as she at least wanted to be with familiar faces for Christmas, which I get but everyone is calling or texting me on the side going, "I can't have her stay at my place for a month etc."

So who the fuck knows. Everyone is putting themselves between a rock and a hard place cause they don't want to tell her know as she is still devastated from my dad's passing but at the same time they're promising too much and now regretting what they said.

And for some reason, everyone is asking me to figure all this out.

So my father just passed away about an hour ago.

Holy shit! I need to get a laptop/tablet again. Traditional art has always been my weak point and today reaffirmed that.

Sat at the zoo and hung out most of the day, meeting new and old faces alike. Afterthat brought  Ballistic-Cottontail to the bar where I proceeded to slowly murder him with alcohol. Poor guy... and I just met him too...

Then the ever awesome  Nek0gami showed up with a few familiar faces  GenTalon, and others (would love to add your icons but I fail to remember everyones FA :<). And I sat down at their table like an asshole and bugged the shit out of them. Straight up ruined their night I'm sure, while I complained about my horrible spending habits when cons and alcohol are involved.

Overall, great night! I'll be there up at con space again tomorrow night after work. Again, likely up at the Zoo and just bother people into being my friend. :D You can resist me, none of you can.
