Hey, gonna keep the apology short :P

I’ve been depressed a long while, killed productivity. Now I have a job that’s killing productivity.

Here’s a short condensed plan for ongoing series and one-off stuff:

The Kelihan story will likely remain unfinished as of now as it’s a bit of a higher commitment alongside my plan to do a rewrite of a few early chapters as I feel they aren’t as up to snuff as I’d like.

Hildegarde’s series while largely episodic to begin with I’ve realized I fell into a trap of trying to serialized. So. I’m gonna just decide outright I’ll be focusing on pure episodic stuff. Still lingering character development and the like, though aside from that each chapter should be its own thing.

One-offs and commissions will one day eventually resume. To be honest I’ve been feeling exhausted the past few months so I’ve not really gotten any done, so bleh.

Regardless, I hope to get back to writing soon. One day. Hopefully :P

So. I’ve been gone for a while. Been a case of depression coupled with anxiety and a few other factors. Even when that tapered off a month ago my motivation to write died.

Here’s to actually getting some stuff written! I certainly am hopeful, been working on something.

Ok so it turns out, not plotting out 30 ideas AND expecting to write a whole bunch of stuff every day that is also supposed to be erotic is harder -no pun intended- than expected. I'll probably post a compilation of the various stories I have at some point as a sorta compensation, likely as long as my normal posts across 2-3 (so maybe 10k words altogether, 13k pushing it) butttt yeah. Daily updates not as fun as I thought.

My brain is apparently not getting these done as quick as I’d like despite the short length, will keep it going but will likely try and avoid rushing them out to stay real-time -though I do plan on at least being done writing wise before December arrives-

Mainly catching up, they’ll keep the theme of being short little things. Hope y’all like them when they’re out.

Anyways, random musings bc I wanna discuss the stories in the conception.

The stories that I shall refer to as Kel’s began as a role play between me and a certain close friend, it actually started as a more fetishistic thing focused on a specific setup, that being between the character of Telvan and Ri. However, it developed into one where the original take quickly diverged as it became clear I didn’t feel comfortable writing it at the time. Over the course of, if I recall without looking, a year in the role play the character of Ri had developed a ‘Threshold.’ Essentially an in-universe term for reaching a notable milestone in the development of a magical ability, specifically artistry. It was considered notable but not to the point of notoriety.

In the midst of this however, Kel was introduced as a side character who solely existed to accomplish two things: Have a friendly face for Ri to have as a friend before and after the kidnapping, and to resolve a throwaway line. Now, this throwaway line referred to another character. One by the name of Eron.

In the original RP, Eron had been reportedly banged by Ri and then for giggles swapped bodies with his cat. I have no idea why this was a thing. It’s been literal years :P

After fixing that issue, Kel exposited to Eron over dinner at a restaurant, eventually leading to a desire for Eron to learn magic.

Now I’m leaving details out bc obvs I might still adapt some plot points, but the main purpose of this is to just ramble about the rp into proper story with a narrative thing I’ve been doing.

When I went into this, I primarily set out to turn an rp I enjoyed into a coherent story, and I knew I needed a focus character and a plot. So, with this, I decided the best way to go about this was an admittedly lighter take on the initial prompt. That being, Kel as a character exists from day 1. Instead of bumping into Ri in the original once he’s sufficiently Stockholmed himself, she drives herself a bit loopy in her investigations and ends up dragging him out of this in a daring and ballsy as hell move.

So. This means that in essence, the entire timeline of the OT has been thrown off, with the major character who was the original viewpoint -in Telvan- now on the back wheel, his latest acquisition gone. What does this mean?

Who knows! I’m not gonna spoil it :P

My absence has been due to getting a couple comms. I’ll be posting them over the course of the next week, both have asked to remain anonymous and as such I won’t detail them!

Regularly scheduled programming will be posted as well, I’m hammering out a new Kel-centered story. Hildegarde-centered stuff is in a limbo of ‘I’m trying to move it on and get it to a state I’m happy with’ for the next part.

A shaky topic as I’m anxious to go through with it, but I suppose I shall put it out here that I am open to commissions. Prices are a bit unknown atm but I will be happy to discuss what’s wanted and what we both find to be reasonable.

I only do written stories, so keep that in mind.

It’s an experiment I’m trying out to put more consistent stuff out. Essentially stories under 2k words with the cast of the Hildegarde stories. I do intend to have the story focused next chapter out soon, hopefully by the second week of October, but until then I’ll be doing my best to put out some shorter stuff. Let me know if the concept looks to work out, I certainly do have ideas on smaller things in a more episodic setting, definitely with some more sexual stuff.

All episodic stories will be under the general label of Vikarae’s Diary and labeled as a mini episode in the header.
