So I have to send my new computer back in as it has been blue screening relentlessly since it arrived and we couldn't fix it with any of the troubleshooting stuff. I plan to continue to art but after using SAI, photoshop is really unappealing for drawing.

I will be shipping the computer out to the company on Monday so lets see how much art I can get checked off my list this weekend before I pack it all up. If you are still on my list and want to switch your request to another character, just drop me a note so I can make the change for you as I'm betting some of you have new favorite characters with how long it's taking me.

Yes... I'm probably still gonna be painstakingly slow and I apologize for that. I really need to get my shit together and find my art muse. She's been missing in action for quite some time now... I think it's time to put her picture out on milk cartons or something... if any of you find her, let me know....

Work has been super draining so art has not been happening (obviously).

I put my two weeks in at my job so if I can survive tonight/tomorrow... and a couple of other days, I will be free most of December. ALSO! I got a brand new PC and SAI and as such, feel more of a drive to art again.

That being said, there will hopefully be more progress on these long overdue Iron Artist pieces over the next month (which I feel horrible about being so slow on).

Anyway that aside, I haven't finished cooking dinner yet and Hakuga wants to watch Lion King with me so I am postponing the stream to 8PM central! (May or may not be running a smidge late depending on how soon we pop this movie in and how long it is... can't remember the running time...)

 radio-gaz just made watcher number 100 for me! Thanks to everyone for stickin through with me even though I have been absolutely atrocious about updating/streaming/arting in general... I am still planning on continuing my Iron Artist and I would like to apologize first hand to everyone who is still waiting for something... It may be free but that is no excuse for me to be horribly slow about it... I will probably continue to be slow for the next month and a half (trying to get Hakuga a partial suit built before MFF) but after that, I will hopefully start picking up the pace a lot more...

In other news, there will more than likely be a stream tonight when I get off work! I was planning on doing one yesterday but Hakuga let me play Katamari Amore on his new iPad so I got terribly distracted... I'm still really in a katamari mood so I will be offering up TWO FREE WARM UP "KATAMARI-IFY MY SONA" quick chibis. They will be first come first serve and only when I ask for a ref... anyone who posts their ref prior to that time will be disqualified for that round so be careful all you trigger fingers!!

The stream will likely start sometime between 5-5:30 depending on how quickly I get home and get dinner cooked/eaten. If I plan on streaming later in the evening, keep an eye out for an update journal with a more accurate time!

1. Please do not post links in my stream unless they are to your personal FA. You may ask me about posting other links HOWEVER I am not going to allow any youtube links or links to videos/other streams. People are there to watch me draw, not to watch something on youtube. If you really want to share it with me, note it to me.

2. Any links that I do allow, please announce the contents of the link to the stream viewers. I cannot express how much I hate when people just randomly toss a link up and leave you with no clue as to where it goes. Make sure to mention if it is not safe for work.

3. Even though I've allowed FA links, please don't abuse this by flaunting yourself, your character or your art. It's cool that you got a piece by an amazing artist but my stream is not the time and place to be distracting people with someone else's art. If this becomes a problem, I won't be allowing any links period.

4. Please do not ask me about requests or insinuate that you want me to draw your character for free. I will let you know when I am taking requests and approaching me for them any other time is just disrespectful and rude.

5. Please don't backseat mod. If someone is being a dick to you, just ignore them and let me take care of it. If for whatever reason it isn't being taken care of, let me know in a calm and respectful manner and I will do my best to resolve the issue.

6. Keep the drama llama out. Don't pick fights with other users, don't post topics that you know will cause drama (aka PC vs Mac arguments, MLP, etc.).

7. If I ask you to knock something off, knock it off. If I have to tell you more than twice, you'll most likely get banned.

If anyone could point me in the direction of some great photoshop brushes, it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not looking for "fun" brushes like stars or swirls or anything like that... I'm looking more for something like the photoshop equivalent to Onta's brush set for SAI.... ones that will help make the shading process go a lot more smoothly.

ALSO! Hello to all of my watchers! I am extremely flattered to already have 75 people watching me begin a path in digital art! That's right! The pieces I've been submitting have been some of the first pieces I've done digitally using a tablet and pen. I'm definitely more practiced with traditional media and vector art so you are witnesses to me stumbling through figuring this whole digital drawing thing out.

If anyone has any great tutorials that have helped them or they think I could benefit from, by all meas, toss me a comment here and I will try to soak in the knowledge and put it to use in my upcoming pieces! I am definitely open to critique and guidance because other than practice, what else will help me blossom into a badass drawing machine?

First off, sorry for the lack of art! Motivation has completely escaped me and I am doing my best to wrangle it back. I've been having a lot of difficulty with a particular piece and my frustration over trying to get it to look right caused me to not want to draw much.

Second, as a result of this, I have decided to do the Iron Artists out of order despite what I said when everyone signed up. I think this will allow me to expedite the process and complete things faster based on motivation and using time appropriately. I'm sorry if this upsets anyone but hey, the pieces were free. I've got a LOT of them to complete and I already feel bad about being so slow with all of this so I'm doing something that I think will help speed up the process.

Third, if I can stop being so shy about my art and get the motivation to set it up, there will definitely be streams in the future. Any help anyone can send my way about how to do this (I run on a Mac OS if that makes any difference) would be much appreciated.

and finally, for those who do not follow my personal account, I will be attending MFF this year! Hopefully by that point, I might be confident enough with my art to offer up sketches for those who ask nicely!

Anyway, that is all for now! I will be on vacation all of next week but other than that, will be working on arting and trying to put my office/studio together (still haven't finished unpacking that) as well as finding a new job. Hopefully there will be some art posted tonight but no promises!

How To Commission Me
If you are interested in commissioning me, please send me a note with picture references and a clear and concise description of what you are looking for. I do not want to read a short novel so please keep your descriptions to 50 words or less. If you choose to commission me for adult/mature material, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Once I have agreed to the commission, I will respond with the total price and a link to my paypal account. As soon as I receive payment, I will begin work. Please note this does not necessarily mean I will immediately start working on your piece. You will be added to my work queue and I will do my best to make sure your piece gets back to you in a timely fashion.

Special Notes:
I MUST agree to the commission before you send payment. If I have not agreed to the commission, I will not draw for you. I will be willing to refund the money sent however I will not be responsible for any resulting fees. This means you may not get a full refund as I do not care to pay for such fees.

I have the right to post my artwork and make prints of it for advertising or personal use;
however, I will not claim the character to be my own (if it is not) and will link back to the proper
owner or place a watermark on the image indicating as much. If I decide to make an advertisement banner (as seen on FA) I reserve the right to use any art without a watermark containing owner information.

If you would like your commission to be kept private, please make sure you clearly note this in your commission request. An additional privacy fee of 15% of the base price will be added to your total price for the inconvenience. (Example: if you are commissioning something that would cost $40, the privacy fee will be $6 adding up to a total of $46)

I am not responsible for your commission being posted to any websites other than my own however I do not consent to my artwork being posted without credit to me as the original artist nor do I consent to anyone editing my artwork without direct permission from me. Editing includes but is not limited to cropping, removing my watermark/signature, recoloring, or changing any portion of the work including removal or addition of body parts, gender changes, etc. Please report any such thefts or edits to me so that I may have them removed.

It is not my responsibility to get permission from the owner of all characters involved in any commissioned artwork and is the responsibility of the commissioner. If permission was not given, I cannot be held responsible.

The owner of the art has my permission to repost their commissioned artwork with credit to me and may print/reproduce the image(s) for their own personal use. However, the commissioner MAY NOT print/reproduce any of my artwork with intention of selling and/or making a profit.

Payment
I request payment up front and will not move your commission to my working queue until full payment is received. You will be notified when I have received your payment and have moved your commission to the working queue.

Refunds
If your commission has not yet been started, I will issue a full refund minus any fees associated with issuing the refund. If I have already begun work on your commission, I cannot issue a full refund however I will refund what I feel is appropriate given the amount of work I have already completed. (Example: If I am already halfway done with your commission, you will be refunded half of the payment processed for that commission.)

If I feel I am unable to complete your commission for any personal fault of my own (i.e. poor health), I will refund your money in full.

Approval Sketches
Approval sketches will only be used on larger commissions. Once I have finished the approval sketch, I will send it to you for review. Once you have given me a green light, I will continue progress on your work. Please be prompt with your response. If I am waiting for more than 3 days for a response on an approval sketch, I will move your commission to the bottom of my working queue unless you have contacted me in advance regarding any extenuating circumstances.



Changes and Edits
Approval sketches are allowed three major changes. Any subsequent requests for changes will be subjected to an additional fee. If an approval sketch was sent and approved, you will not be allowed any major changes without incurring an additional fee. Small commissions that do not have an approval sketch are limited to minor changes only. Any major changes may be done at an additional cost. Any additional fees as a result of changes will vary depending on the size of the change and the time it will take to make such a change to the artwork. These change fees will be waived if the change requested is a result of my personal error.

NOTE: If a character involved is redesigned or changed after I have begun work, I will not be responsible for any changes to update them to the current design after the approval sketch has been made (if applicable) however additional fees may be applied to do so. Given this, please make sure you send updated references and let me know as soon as possible of any changes.

References
I will only work from CLEAR image references. They may be photographs, drawings, or other digital media, however I prefer not to work with screen capped images (from SecondLife, World of Warcraft, etc.) as these are often hard to work from. If your reference is not clear, I may ask you for additional references or may even decline the commission. I cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from an unclear reference.

I will NOT work from verbal references however if your reference image does not include all pertinent information (example: paw pad color, inner mouth color, etc.) you may give me a clear written description, however I will not be responsible for any errors resulting from unclear descriptions. Because of this, it is helpful to always try and find an image of what you are talking about. (Example: If you want a specific piece of jewelry or pattern, find another image that comes as close as possible to what you are describing.)
