We'll let the old year die with a fond goodbye, and our hopes as high as a kite.

So, the year of 2014 has ended. Honestly, it was an overall sucky year on all accounts. A bunch of awesome people died this year. FA had a ton of problems. There were many many controversial events transpired and caused wakes of riots and uproars. Very low on money most of the year. So on and so fourth.
In spite of that, it seemed like there was some good that came with the bad. Even though FA had a lot of rough patches and mix ups, they started leading in a righter direction. More open about what is going on, even with the many slow downs, bugs, and crashes. Was able to go to two cons as usual and had a blast with a great group of friends. I obtained one girlfriend, and one that isn't online for once. Probably the best thing about this year.
I can't say that I really was all that active this past year. I was low on getting art and the art I did get I was lazy with posting. I do feel bad for taking up space here, but I don't really have any art I create to post here, or I would be all over this. So, for the new year, I hope to accomplish a handful of things:
-Get a new ref
-Create and post more writings
-Save up to attend two cons or more
-Get a job and apartment
-Commission more art
-Help more friends and those that are nice around me
I am really bad about change, especially with myself. Am I going to get anywhere with these? Probably not. But its the thought that counts right?

Sooooooooooooooooo..... I've had superheroes and stuff on my mind wore a bit for the past few months. So, I'd like to gauge interest in a possible group commission of such. Most likely, I would run a journal asking for a character and a description of their superhero/villain and maybe a suggestion of an artist.

On a related note, unearthing all this old art has made me remember friends and things from the past. There were good times and stuff, but man, I feel like such an ass for losing the friends attached to some of the art. Some of it was so petty.

What made you choose the species of your main Character?
I've alway had a love of canines and also grew a fondness for marine life. Felt like fox characteristics and personalities fit me best, but I wanted to mix it up, and viola. Fishyfox.

Is your character just like you, or how you want to be?
Uhm..... hmmmm..... I guess I'd want to be him more than he is me. I certainly can't breath underwater more than once.

Does your character have the same personality you have?
I'd say so, if not more open. He is my face and image while I am not in person, so its me, but a bit more accepting of somethings and open to share.

Does your character have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
Yes, because he be mah face interwebs thing. [I'm so eloquent.]

Does your character look like you at all?
Not really, but I'm starting to grow similar hair by coincidence.

Is your character the same gender as you, if not why?
He is, yes. I have others that are not.

Do you have more then one main character?
Ic is my main one for real life and general internet identifications, but I have a female character, Danissus, that I use solely for Second Life. This is mostly because its impossible to find anything close to a fishyfox on SL aaaaaaaaaand..... I have no idea why a female.

Do you have a back story for your character, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
I do, but it doesn't follow my own life at all. I guess getting to more current history may bring some familiar names and face from here, but not similar.

Is your character mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
yeah, and yes. He's my representation, so the connection is basically direct.

If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
eeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh.... not really, no. One romance, please.

Is there something special about your character that you think sets them apart from others?
:V his species. I have yet to see anything similar in design. I have seen close in hybrids, but usually they are very frilly.

Do you have much art of your main character?
yeah, I guess I do, BUT I WANT MOOOOOORE!

Would you ever consider parting with your main character, if so why?
Never. He went from a simple avatar in the beginning, to now being a part of my identification for some people and places. I can't just leave that.

I do not suit. Rather wibbly wobbly topic for me. I'll gladly discuss it with those interested. I do like tails, though/

Have you ever roleplayed with your main character, or do you prefer not to?
Yes, and others. Sometimes, I've made characters up on the spot.

Do you consider your main character to be a part of you in any way?
I didn't really want to at first, but he's grown to be just that, and I wouldn't have it any other way now.

Well, I had a pretty fun time!

Got lotsa thing, hopefully you will see a bunch of them. Some of the things I won't post would be: a poster, print, some wyrms[my firsts!], a fox squishable, a con shirt, a <_< cd, and a bunch o' pins

Among those great loots, I also got better things. Like time with friends and nice people that I hope to be friends with. It always seems like everyone I see is the nicest person around, even with 2 hours of sleep and 2 fire alarms at 2 am.

Even with all this stuff, the most amazing thing of the con was the fundraiser. Everyone together raised $10,516 for the SPCA. About 2000 of which was raised in the closing ceremony alone! You people are all so amazing. It just makes me beam to be apart of that.
