Connection issues + Pony Story + ArtistWATCH
Posted 13 years agoYeah.. Pretty much as the title describes. I've been trying to write a little more lately, though with not much luck, due to a particularly irritating writer's block. I'm trying to get over it, staring out the window day by day, looking for inspiration. I get lil' spurts every now and then, though only when I don't have a notebook to write them down in!
Connection's been difficult to come by sometimes - often ducking into a small Internet cafe, or even resorting to going down to McDonald's on some occasions! - and when I finally get it I often check up here, or onto my e-mail's, or something. I don't get much casual chat time with others..
Done a lot of work and study lately, to try and keep up with everything. Being an academic sometimes can be a pain! Though, it's always fascinating becoming alert to every little process that goes on around us, without our knowing. All the chemistry that occurs and the physics that revolves around every aspect of each of our lives.. It's fascinating.
I've been trying to develop an idea in order to study further in to, or develop a project to research, and possibly create - I haven't had much of a lead though, but I'm still trying.
Yeah, it appears I've gone on a bit here, just randomly talking about the daily happenings of my life.. I really should try and do this a little less. Oh well.
To any bronies reading this message: If you have a pony OC, I've been writing a story lately about the original life of my own, and I'm considering possibly introducing a few new characters, so if anyone is interested, you are welcome to register your interest here, and I can talk to you via a note about such.

Yes, I finally brought it back! I've been waiting for the actual inspiration to create a journal in order to put it on! It's been difficult choosing, as I haven't been able to look at many new artworks in a while, as I probably should.. Either way, I've made it now, and will try and keep up the weekly schedule from now on.
Anyway, the artist to watch for this week is
emotioncreator, one of the very gods of growth itself! A very kind and intelligent drake he is, with a charming personality. His art is developing more and more all the time, and his conceptual understanding of many situations is one of the greatest I have ever had the honor to bear witness. So, what are you waiting for? Posted 13 years agoIt seems like everytime I look at someone's page, or someone's artwork, there's always some sort of reference to their mate.
I mean, I find it nice to have all the love and care surrounding FA between users, but sometimes it does frustrate me, being one who is generally and physically incapable of love.. I can pretend it, or feel light affection toward, but I've never, and probably will never, actually know what it's like.
Once more, I'm glad for all those who have, and all friends of mine who have I'm proud of, and I hope such relationships last a long time.
The completion of the title is: '..has someone.'

It flies by, nearly unnoticed, both when you're having fun and when you really don't need it to.
Once it's gone, it's gone, and you can't get it back.
You can try learning what you've lost, but it takes up more of when you could be learning other things.
You cannot make it, nor pretend it's not there, as it goes by..
Oh, the hourless days go by.. Minute by minute.. Tick.. Tock..
The timeless times, time and time again..
I wish I had more time.
Yeah.. I'm far too busy nowadays.. I'm trying to find time to contribute to this site, but on more than often occasion I can only view and comment on others' submissions. I'm trying to work on my artistic skills, particularly with writing, but I just have no ideas.. And rarely, time.
I hope others' lives are handling themselves better than mine is.

Contemplating Adoptables

Is it just me, or is there anyone else out there, who is frustrated by the cycle of adoptables on this site?
Since I don't have PayPal, or any form of transferring money via the Internet, my range of what I can do on here is limited a fair way - especially when is comes to adoptables.
Has it happened to anyone else where you look through the submissions for this site regarding them, and you find a few which you like, only to find they're already gone.. Regardless of when they were posted. It's just frustrating how I'm never quite quick enough.. I enjoy looking at them though, and the artists who drew them have done a wonderful job; it's just irritating how I can never manage to get one.
Meh, just me talking about my problems, no one needs to comment here.

Yep, I know, not many of you are going to come all the way over to my page just to read about my numerous frustrations with life, but thank you to those who have.
For one, I'm still trying to write and draw, though I'm having real trouble in both finding time to do them and finding any ideas for them. I'm not sure about requests, as they add pressure to me to get something done, even if the requestee says there's "no pressure". My ability, I've learnt, is lacking in both of these areas, and I really need to start working on them, but that's if I can even find time to.. It almost seems like I'm trapped in a deadlock. Should I open requests, or should I not? Should I sacrifice time for other things to try and improve my ability or look for inspiration? I just don't know..
Second, the time itself is beginning to irritate me. All the things I'm caught up in and doing are causing a big overload inside me - over the past fourteen days, I've slept two - And I don't know what to do anymore.. I'm starting to collapse a little, which I hope will improve sometime soon..
Thirdly, my poor adoptables.. I made them so long ago, and I'm not sure whether it's that people dislike them or no one can be bothered looking through my artworks (which I don't blame them for), but they just seem so lonely with no owner.. The links to them are:

Yep, I know, not many of you are going to come all the way over to my page just to read about my numerous frustrations with life, but thank you to those who have.
For one, I'm still trying to write and draw, though I'm having real trouble in both finding time to do them and finding any ideas for them. I'm not sure about requests, as they add pressure to me to get something done, even if the requestee says there's "no pressure". My ability, I've learnt, is lacking in both of these areas, and I really need to start working on them, but that's if I can even find time to.. It almost seems like I'm trapped in a deadlock. Should I open requests, or should I not? Should I sacrifice time for other things to try and improve my ability or look for inspiration? I just don't know..

Posted 13 years agoAlright, probably going to open art trades (or a few requests to friends), though still have some work to do before I can start them. I'm facing a major art block to the point where I'm having difficulty drawing my own character.. Becoming discouraged to even draw nowatimes.
I'm working on an overdue art trade for the moment, but I'm trying to get through it, and I'll open them up after that./ I'm not going to open many slots, and it's most likely going to take a long time to finish them due to the common happenings and marrings of my drawing times nowadays..
