Posted 11 months agoBefore I tell you the critical update, I'm bringing back the first initial of my moniker's full name: D. Wayne Kentson. But please call me Wayne. What does the "D" stand for? You'll be able to find out when it's time.
The main update: You may wonder what happened to some of my pictures. Well, I'm making my main FA account available to view for everyone: members, guests, and minors. But don't worry about the deleted pics. I'll upload them to my other FA account, which is focused on exclusive content. It'll be up as soon as possible.

Announcement!!!
Posted 2 years agoI’m putting artwork and my dream project aside until further notice. Right now, I might return to streaming. Weekly only. I'm not doing it for fame, fortune, or attention. But for sharing the experience. I will be concentrating on playing retro and indie games. I might stream on Saturday at 7 pm MST. I might also record the stream, separate them in half an hour, and post one daily on YouTube.

Suggestion Reply to the Commissioner
Posted 2 years agoThis is why I prefer filling out a form when I commission than DMing an artist or lacking their ToS. One artist announced one open slot, and I politely requested one through a DM. Then they replied with a question that made me uncomfortable: "Anything you want?" It sounds like not only do they want money, but they want something more that's inappropriate. It's like a setting of a part of a story where the protagonist says they'll do anything, and someone who is talking to said, "Anything?" You know what happens when the protagonist agrees or not. It's like that one part in Family Guy when Quagmire told the producer he'd do anything to get on The Bachelorette. Later, they're in the producer's room, looking like they're about to have homo sex. But Quagmire was helping him check for monsters before going to bed.
The point is, to any artist who does commissions and only be contacted by DM, don't creep out your customers. Just ask them what they want for their commission if you're open, or tell them you're closed this time if you are. Also, be clear on the instructions if you're in a hurry. It's only a suggestion.

Streaming Update
Posted 2 years agoAfter having a thought, I'm giving up on the schedule on Twitch and recording. I'm not giving it up. I'm saying from now on, I'll be streaming whenever I want to. I'll still play games in the evening. It feels hectic and sometimes I want to do something outside streaming. So whenever I have a day of artist/writer's block, I'll start to stream. Also, I'll stream a movie or two every Sunday. They won't be on VOD, though. Also, I'm not going to announce it anymore.

Returning back to stream
Posted 3 years agoI think posting on YouTube is a bust because why would I wait to play once a week rather than a few days a week? So, I'm coming back to Twitch instead. I'll be streaming on Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 AM GMT and Saturday from 8 PM to Midnight GMT. I'll put not only VODs up on Twitch but also on YouTube. I won't be partnering with them, though. You're probably thinking I'm a furry kink artist and that's what I do in my life. Well, you're wrong. I'm a cartoonist who wants to create a world and a story. I don't know why I like fat furs/Inflation. But we all have irrational likes, right? I just want anyone who likes my legacy to remember it and not my fetish. I'm not going to give up on what makes me happy. But I want to focus on my legacy. I'm seeing some who are not afraid to show their fetish. But some are by having separate accounts. I'm not going to make another account because someone will think I'm block-evading. And I don't want to go through that false accusation again.
So, should I show my fetish drawing to other social media than FA? If you say so, I'm not convinced because someone wouldn't remember my legacy. If you think anyone will remember it, then convince me. Name any famous writers/artists who have a fetish with proof.

Change of Plans
Posted 3 years agoWhen I said I'm going to make a webcomic of the Draco Bros., I changed my mind. Since I now have a full-time job, I think it's improbable to complete a stage of drawing a comic in a day. So I decided to write my story instead because it's easy for me to take a break and get back where I started than stop in the middle of a drawing. I'll be doing it until I retire from work and become a full-time comic artist until it gets an animated series. I will still draw but only on Saturday afternoon. It'll only be concepts of my story or what I'm in the mood for. Will drawing requests be open? Yes, but it's friends only. No, I won't be your friend. You got to earn it.
If you think it's probable to make a comic with an off-topic, full-time job, convince me. Tell me your experience and what you have to sacrifice, like having less sleep, a part-time job, isolated socialism, etc.
I thought of using Ko-Fi or Patreon. But when's the perfect time to use them? Have at least five-hundred followers? Also, to many writers who use Patreon: what rewards do you give your patrons?
Will I still draw and share inflation and fat furs? Yes, but only exclusive on this site because I want to start a new reputation without it outside this site.

Slight of Change
Posted 3 years agoFrom now on, any fetishes I draw--or what I drew--are now exclusive to FA, Discord, and Telegram. So no more of it in Weasyl or Twitter. Why? Because I want to start a new reputation of being a cartoonist who wants to tell his story instead of being a puffy dragon ball commissioner/artist. I'll still make them when I feel like it. Only exclusively.
