Posted 14 years agoI've been having a really rough time drawing since like three days ago. I can't decide what to draw and I don't really feel much like drawing lately (Even though I <b>want</b> to <b>feel</b> like drawing) and it's taken a considerable amount of energy from me.
I was getting started on an art trade with
Yonoa, but I wasn't motivated to draw. I couldn't even pick up my tablet pen without being all OOGH. I've been at my desk for like five hours before realizing I hadn't done a thing |:<
Going to try and break the block with a Livestream tomorrow, but I've been having problems with the camera thingamajig too, so I DUNNO. STOP BY IF YOU WANT.

Posted 14 years agoI really don't think I should, but someone keeps on telling me that people would go for it. I mean... I definitely have to work on my coloring and I don't want to charge too much for something I'm not so good at and blawblawblaw

My drawing habits and hard stuff D:
Posted 15 years agoGot my first upload in. It looks all right, but I could have done better, I think XD
I think I need to break a few habits of mine. I tend to draw guidelines, that's good. But I never follow them lmao. Pretty dumb drawing guidelines I'm not going to use! They're also usually wayyyy out of proportion and then my heads come out looking like balloons :o I should keep myself under control when I draw or I won't get anything good done!
And coloring... don't get me started. I can't color for my life! I suppose it's a decent coloring job I did on Idris' reference sheet, but sheesh... and compared to other people's artwork? Well, they say practice makes perfect, so i guess I should just "keep on truckin'" as they say. Maybe I should learn stuff about the color wheel and dimensions or whatever else is important for that kind of stuff hehe.
If anyone's got tips on drawing/coloring, I'd love to hear them. I know my work isn't the best and I need all the help I can get. :3
