New PC!
Posted 6 years agoI got a new motherboard that my school was throwing out, and built a new PC around it. It is a pretty bad motherboard, from an HP XW4600 rather than my original HP XW4400, meaning I have one more PCIE 8x slot, two extra USB headers, and one additional SATA port! This also included HP removing the IDE port from the board, but not like I'd actually use it anyways. (Although, I do have 3 160GB IDE HDDs on my shelf collecting dust.)
I am still doing most of my work on my laptop, but my PC can finally work as the server I needed.
On top of this, I finally got a job interview! I applied to six local businesses, and only one of the companies ever responded to my application. My interview is tomorrow, and it is my first, as I am 17. Any tips from anyone will be greatly appreciated!

Posted 6 years agoSorry I disappeared, I've been VERY busy redoing my studio (replacing my HP Probook 656 5B with my 'new' Dell Latitude E6520, with an Intel i5 with hyperthreading!) I have also upgraded to the newest Beta release of Ubuntu, version 19.04.
Upon upgrading my hardware and OS, I am also trying to figure out Ardour5, which will hopefully mostly replace LMMS as my main DAW. (Although, I will never fully stop using LMMS, as it allows me to use a ton of VST plugins that I don't know how to use through Ardour.)
I am still working on building my website over again, because the other one looked pretty bland.
That's about all I have right now, so have a great day!

New Track (Sorta)
Posted 7 years agoWell, as no-budget music production goes, my album set to release soon is kind of an impossibility, however, this does not mean that I'm not releasing anything. I will be finishing revising my new track, Mainframe, and I will be releasing it as a single.
And as far as the raffle goes, only a few people entered, and I completely forgot to keep updating on it (because I was busy rebuilding my PC again,) so anybody who entered will be given a free top-quality copy of my new song. I will also give them a free copy of the entire album as well, when its done.

Account Switchover
Posted 7 years agoHello, everyone! I am just informing you that I will likely be more-or-less discontinuing usage of my other account, 
lacertus.xeirgoulus (Lacertus.Xeirgoulus) for a number of reasons, including;
-I used a false age on it, and feel awful about that.
-I don't like that username anymore.
-The username does not fit with my 'brand'.
-It is far easier to manage one account.
This does not mean that my Lacertus.Xeirgoulus account will go dead, in fact it will likely be used as a way to announce upcoming events. (Basically, I might have some random junk running through it.)

I am here to say that I have created my new Ieaci account, which uses my REAL age. (Sorry for false age, I am just paranoid about security.) I will be uploading all my new music submissions through my new Ieaci account. (Link will be provided)
