WOOOOOOO!

Hello everybody. Sorry that it's been SOOOO long for an update on this, but...honestly...I've been losing my energy on this fanfic, that and I've been waiting for the Bakugan reboot, which is Bakugan Battle Planet.

So, I am truly sorry to say this, but I am cancelling Heroes Destiny.

After watching Battle Planet, I have been greatly impressed with how it holds up, fixing some issues with the original series, making the Bakugan themselves much more emotional and expressive, especially Drago. Not to mention the card game itself looks great. Everything about this reboot, I'm enjoying a lot out of. Even more than the original series, if I'm being honest.

If I'm fairly honest, even if the reboot didn't happen, I'm not sure if I'll have the creativity to continue this story nonetheless.

It’s almost here, over 10 days from now. And I’ll no longer be a teenager.

I gotta tell ya. I’m not sure how to feel being a young adult. I mean I don’t have a licence yet, and my little sister is working her way to get hers, mostly cause I’m nervous as hell.

Not to mention, I recently got enrolled to Academy of Information Technology to be a game designer. Make concept art and such. I, especially, want to make a game with some of the OCs I made, action games, like a hack and slasher with my OCs Drake and Tumahab (https://www.deviantart.com/jakeburner/art/Drake-Bryne-761872403 https://www.deviantart.com/jakeburn.....hab-761873081) and perhaps another with Ignis, shooters like Ratchet and Clank, or maybe like DOOM, and I always wanted to make racing games. Not simulator racing games like Gran Turismo, but arcade racers like Burnout, and perhaps games like Twisted Metal. Basically, games that are relentless, fast and fun. Games that don’t make you feel restricted, want to cause as much mayhem as you want.

So yeah...this year’s gonna be a pretty big step up for me.

I'm gonna be honest guys. I think I'm gonna get jackshit for my birthday. Nothing has really caught my interest as of now. No games...no movies. Just...nothing. Nothing has sparked my interest.

So yeah. Letting everyone know. :p

Already getting my bedroom redecorated with new furniture, only a month till art school, and I still haven’t manned up to get a drivers licence.

In terms of games and movies...well, hell if I know. The Crew 2 and Crackdown 3 are coming out soon though. Plus a new game by the current director of Devil May Cry should be revealed soon enough. Maybe it’ll be the long awaited DMC 5, maybe a spiritual succesor to Scalebound, which was cancelled at the beginning of last year, or whatever. Still waiting for a proper Spyro game (OR ANY SORT OF DRAGON GAME) since last year, and presumably an XBox One port of Crash Bandicoot some point.
Oh yeah and apparently the Bakugan Reboot might be coming out some point this year or the next so...I have my hopes on that.

I know this is pretty early to rant about this, but I just can’t help but feel 2017 was just an absolute train wreck of disappointment. In my perspective of course. One of my most hyped games of all time is cancelled, movies that turned my favourite heroes into villains, losing most of my work in progress stories and writing, etc.

I don’t know if I should talk about Scalebound in this, since I already bitched and moaned about it in the past. If you want to read about it, just have a look back on some of my journals or whatever and you’ll see what I mean. When Scalebound was cancelled at the VERY BEGINNING of this year, I thought that would be just enough punishment for me. But oh boy was I wrong.

One time when I was playing DOOM on my PC, I had to restart it while the game was apparently saving, which meant I got a corrupted save file and I had to do EVERYTHING ALL OVER AGAIN. AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN LATER ON! Oh and the 6.66 update that came on? Well, I idiotically decided to restart of multiplayer progression, which meant I have to reach up to max level to get the armour pieces and colours, etc for my Marine, FOR THE FOURTH TIME.

Then came around my birthday when I felt so miserable and enraged about what was going on at the time, so much that I ranted to all the people on my friends list for not comforting me after the next hour or so after posting this journal (https://jakeburner.deviantart.com/journal/I-have-entered-a-state-661815210) and I logged out of deviantart in rage for about a day.

E3 was just...disappointing as hell. There was barely anything for me to be interested or excited about. There were some games that I’m very keen on, but they were announced before E3, such as Need for Speed Payback, The Crew 2 and Quake Champions. E3 had barely ANYTHING for me to be excited about. Forza Motorsport 7 was just...meh, for me. Agents of Mayhem seems cool I guess, since it was made by the same people who made Saints Row, and I was honestly interested in Crackdown 3 after I saw the E3 trailer, but now it’s been delayed to 2018.

Now onto the movies. The movies were actually pretty good in my opinion! I enjoyed The Fate of the Furious and Transformers The Last Knight.

Yes. That’s it. Those were all the movies in 2017 that I enjoyed, let alone watched.
The one thing I didn’t like was how they turned the main heroes into villains, practically bringing them into a situation where they were blackmailed or brainwashed. In Fate of the Furious, it was the best case scenario, where it turned out-

Dom had orchestrated a way around Cipher’s plans, and even got Deckard Shaw back together with his brother Owen to save Dom and Elena’s baby. Unfortunately the same can’t be said about Elena...

Transformers The Last Knight was different. Optimus Prime has been brainwashed by Quintessa and nearly killed Bumblebee, until Bumblebee miraculously got his voice back, which made Optimus bring back to his senses.

In some case, the movies were the LEAST bad thing to come out of 2017.

I don’t even have to talk about school, since we all know what school would be like, but at the end of it all, I managed to find a way to not go to Term 4 for the end of year exams, as I am going to Art School next year, meaning I currently now have 3 or 4 months of vacation.

So after all that, it seemed like my bad luck was gonna turn around, right?
Well...

Let’s talk about Skylanders Academy season 2. I never watched the show itself, since it’s on Netflix, so I just mainly read the synopsises on the web to find out what happened.
When Cynder was announced to be in season 2, I had my hopes up, but they slowly diminished when Eric Rogers, the writer of the show, posted this on his Twitter: https://twitter.com/EricRogersLA/st.....78718698135552
Yeah...over time, I slowly got over it, due to the fact this is basically a kids show, let alone that the show takes place in a universe of it’s own, and not in the games, and that no one is probably gonna understand the romance.

When season 2 came out...well...

The one thing I did like was Cynder’s new backstory, of her being the daughter of Malefor, which explains her dark powers. The one thing I didn’t like about Cynder in The Legend of Spyro was her incredibly dark and disturbing backstory.

She was transformed into a full grown monster at such a young age, and afterwards, she took a lot of blame even though she was like 10-13 years old, it’s honestly a very bleak and disturbing thought because, Malefor turned a very young child, not long after being born, into this perversion of a dragoness which would do his bidding without a second thought.
So technically, Cynder was a child soldier and perhaps a potential breeder for Malefor. That’s honestly a little disgusting for a Spyro game.
I much prefer Cynder being this mysterious dragon who somehow learned dark magic, rather than being a mind controlled slave for Malefor.

The one thing I hated in season 2 was the finale.

Basically what happens is that Eon, who turns out to be Kaos’ father, was revealed to have banished the purple dragons to another dimension, after they were corrupted and controlled by Strykore, who is essentially a dark and evil twin of Eon. Cynder gets captured by Malefor, and Spyro gets corrupted by darkness and turns into Dark Spyro, essentially becoming evil...or maybe some sort of anti hero. Like I said I never watched the show, I just read what I find through the web.

The cliffhanger ending in the finale left SO MUCH hanging, it just annoying. It felt like it was only a part 1 of a 2 part or 3 part episode. It crammed in so much shock value, that it felt like Eric Rogers was simply teasing us. And now we have to wait another 12 MONTHS for the next season.
After reading on what had happened, I can’t help but feel like that Skylanders Academy is slowly becoming a rewrite of The Legend of Spyro. Like, this is the second season right? They introduced Cynder and Malefor and Spyro turns into Dark Spyro by the end of the season, both it and The Eternal Night end in a bittersweet cliffhanger ending, which means we have to wait another year for the next part of the story, which I BET is going to be all resolved only in the first or second episode of Season 3.

One more thing about the finale is that it felt a bit out of place for a show like Skylanders. The dark and bittersweet cliffhanger ending just didn’t fit the overall light hearted tone of the show

The thing that annoys me the most about this is that it’s literally the only official semblance of Spyro related media of this year. No Skylanders game this year, no announcement of a Spyro remaster or reboot to this point, just twelve episodes that end with some bullshit cliffhanger finale, leaving us the wait for the next year to find out what happens next.

I just hope to GOD next year will be so much better than this year, cause I just don’t know if I can stand another moment of this year.

I’m gonna be totally honest with you. This year hasn’t been that inspiring for me.
Like...I’ve literally done no progression with any of my stories, or done any sketches as of late, added to the fact that I lost about...I dunno about a quarter, maybe a third at least, of all my stories.
But, truth be told...nothing’s been an absolute inspiration for me as of now. With Scalebound cancelled, and no new actual Spyro game announced or...any new, unique thing, like there’s still Need for Speed Payback, Quake Champions, Agents of Mayhem, and I guess Crackdown 3. But other than that...nothing’s been like a big inspiration for me. Like the only progression I do when it comes to my stories, is when I’m out on the road on the way to some faraway place, when I have no internet. And for my drawings, I usually load up different pictures for references and sketch them in my own style, adding things that weren’t there and such.
Even as simply retracing the sketch i’ve done on illustrator, just so it can be in better quality and in colour.
Like, I’m so hitched to the internet on my iPad, I just can’t pull myself into doing basically anything. Like I do go on and play games on my XBox One or laptop, but other than that, a huge majority of my daily life is on this iPad, doing nothing but browse the web, listen to music that makes me hyperactive and run around the house, read Spyro fanfics and do role playing. In that order.
The same goes when I read the Wings of Fire novels. Like I have Legends Darkstalker since...I dunno Christmas last year? But I still haven’t read it yet, it’s there in my room, and I haven’t even lifted the cover.

I just don’t know what to do at this point.

I mean I searched this place for any Bakugan art mature and adult and...there's hardly anything. I mean for the Bakugan themselves and not the humans, I mean this is a website meant for furries and scalies, etc.

So...should there be at least more Bakugan pr0nz here?

It's so frustrating, since it really tampers with development for some of my characters or whatever, especially in the RPs I do, AND MY STORIES. LIKE I HARDLY EVEN TOUCHED THEM SINCE...THE START OF LAST YEAR, CAUSE I DON'T HAVE ANY MOTIVATION OR INSPIRATION TO CONTINUE THEM. Which is why I often expect what others have in mind to go for, as long as it's not the SAME GOD DAMN THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
It's important to have variety, so that way maybe THEN I can get some new material or whatever.
Some people tend to have some really juicy stuff in mind, even for an RP, but NO, some of those people just decide, "we're done here" but I wanted to know what the had in mind! It pisses me off when something like this happens, because it was definitely something I might've taken inspiration from! I understand what kind of IRL issues they might have been going on with, but it still frustrates me when it happens!
Like I just halt most rp's I've been doing recently, cause I just have little to no motivation or ideas that would help me to continue on, leaving me about over 10 unread notes of RPs, cause either I don't know how to continue this, or I just don't have any motivation at the moment to continue!

1. Anthro Cynder AU

the story can be made up as we go on, with whatever way is up to you if you have a story in mind.
This takes place in a universe where Cynder has never met Spyro, meaning Spyro would have defeated Malefor on his own and Raynelle is one of Malefor's lieutenants, (basically in place of Cynder) and takes an interest in Cynder.

2. Female Spyro (Spyra)
You probably know where this goes. Another alternate universe where Spyro is a sexy dragoness, following an alteration of the three games, or perhaps after Dawn of the Dragon. Cynder is still present, along with Raynelle. Maybe the guardians are also female as well.

3. Milessa/Aphrodite RP

It's just that I have been through so much shit in the past, it was just shocking for me, and I honestly wanted to kill myself.

It's like I am fucking cursed. All this hard hitting events, all revolving around me was just unbearable, I wanted to die.

In fact, I probably felt like going insane, like i wanted to ram a chainsaw through someone's face.

She was SO ANNOYING, I wanted to take sledgehammer and just SMASH her head into pieces. I was almost up to the point, where I should've just smashed her head on a table at that point. She's expelled now, so that's a silver lining.

I am stuck with subjects at school, that have ABSOLUTELY NO connection to what I want to do in my future, which is designing things. I got Maths, English, Health and Systems Engineering, which were subjects that i did last year. What i also did last year was Media and Visual Communications. Now those are ones that I WANTED to do, cause it involved things like art and games and designing and such. Systems Engineering is one I chose, because it involves building things. And i like building things.
Maths also cause well...what else was there?
But Health was chosen by the staff of the school, because there was one other subject that I wanted to do, but that was taken out.
And English is compulsory. You have to pass that subject, or else you'll fail, and THAT'S the subject I have the most stress on. All the others, those don't matter, but ENGLISH??? FAHKING ENGLISH is the WORST. It's just so stressful, I panic everytime when I have to hand in homework. And the fact that you HAVE to pass this subject to make it through the year just makes it even more stressful.
So I'm stuck with the subjects that have NOTHING to do with my wanted future.

So to sum it all up...

I'm completely fucked.

God hates me. For SOME GODDAMN REASON.

I am legit terrified right now to even read my comments. I don't even want to catch one glimpse of them.

My life is just a down ward spiral at this point that's it. Whenever something happens, involving me, it just gets worse, and worse and WORSE.

I'm actually pissed off right now. Because, it's like I get fucking COCKBLOCKED, EVERY FUCKING TIME. Scalebound- CANCELLED. ON THE YEAR OF IT'S RELEASE. I BOUGHT AN XBOX ONE JUST FOR THAT ONE GAME. Things, like this...ALWAYS FUCKING HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

THERE'S...THERE'S JUST NO POINT ON ANYTHING. ANYTHING THAT I ENJOY, JUST GETS RIPPED OUT EVERY TIME. ASPHALT 8, I LOVED THE GAME AT RELEASE BUT IN UPDATES, THEY MADE EVERYTHING SO FUCKING OVERPRICED, SO MUCH THAT I JUST QUIT THE GAME.

AND I LOST ALL MY SAVE DATA ON DOOM ON PC, SO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING ALL FUCKING AGAIN.

2. Hammeo1 denied my RP request on furaffinity.
3. LEGO removed my submission on LEGO Ideas after it was rejected three times, all of the reasons saying I was trying to either bring back a discontinued product theme, or posting a n improvement to a design already done.
4. John1234567899 says his friend, Romman08 denied my request unless I ask him directly, and he's frustrated about it. I am literally scared by this guy.

And all this happened in the past 12 hours.
Why?
