Posted 13 years agoI would like to take a moment to talk of a dear friend of mine by the name of Krael. Never in all my days have I met a more generous and giving man, he always has a hand out to help others that are willing to improve their lives. He lets things slide and truly understands others point of view, he can be quite the philosopher too! I find myself lucky to know that I have a friend that will stand by me through the good times...
...and the bad...
Just as fire warms, fire burns. Krael's rage, when provoked, is much like an unrelenting volcanic eruption. He holds grudges for years, seeks revenge, reacts violently at times and has been known to physically assault those that pushed him too far. Even to the point of permanent bodily harm. But he calms and takes the long view most times.
Yes, while Krael can come across as cynical, overbearing, and even at times down right mean; inside he is a one of a kind work of art. Fire never burns the same everytime, yet I can count on Krael to burn with an intensity unmatched.
Thank you Krael, you are my friend, my brother, my dragon in arms. Cheers to you!.

Posted 13 years agoI currently have 63 cents in my pocket, one dime, one nickle, the rest are pennies. Social experiment, always pay your exact change when you go out but only use the curious copper disks. Whether it be 12 cents or 99. See how long it takes before someone gets flustered and ask them bluntly "Are you refusing to accept payment?" I smile every time from that.

Posted 13 years agoLook at the desk or table where you are, right this minute. Someone designed that. It is art. Your shoes are art. Your coffee cup is art. All functional design, well done, is art. So, you could say "Art is something that is both functional and (hopefully) aesthetically pleasing to our eyes."
One of my photos was taken down due to "lack of artistic content". While this site is moderated by people who get to pick and choose "what is art", and I due respect their decisions, I wish only they had asked me to remove it (as I would have done from a request) instead of informing me after the fact. That is all.
