I've set deadlines for myself before this point, I know, but a set of circumstances have come up where I couldn't keep those deadlines and haven't been online very much if at all recently.

If I miss the completion of your piece by this deadline, you are more than welcome to a partial or full refund, depending on the amount of work already completed.

If you do not care to know what has been going on, than this is as far as you need to read, as the deadline really IS the key piece of information here and everything else is just gravy to explain my prolonged absence.



Welp. My family life had gotten no better, and every time since my last few journals I've been caught doing 'silly artwork' by my family instead of finding a 'real' job to support myself with and get out, my power was cut off on me or I was yelled off the computer.

FORTUNATELY, I DID find a full time job, as a dental lab assistant in the polishing room. Which to be honest, is a lot more manual labor than it sounds, and is utterly exhausting though I do enjoy it. My problem between not having a job and now having one and starting new said job the past few weeks, is 1)getting in to a rhythm that gives me enough sleep to make it through my entire shift the next day, 2)working ANOTHER online job on the weekends so my parents do not spew hatred into my little hidey hole until I leave, and 3) finding living space to keep said job because Vella's situation has changed and she is now going to California with her beau while I stay in Alabama. I'm in the strange predicament of having to FIND a place VERY short notice, and because new job is new, I have to wait out three paydays or so before I can get a decent pay stub to even qualify for the dirt cheap places and prove my income.

So a LOT of time and spare energy has been going into doing all those things.
On the flip-side, I've been getting MORE and more upset with myself that I haven't been able to keep my word on HERE too. Usually my turnaround time isn't so insanely long and I hate that I keep having to tell ya'll the next newest catastrophe that's struck my life and kept me away from finishing artwork. Which, is why I've set a definite hard deadline, even if I have to pull all-nighter weekends to get it all done. It's definitely getting done within the next two to three weekends, 110%. I've gauged how much sleep I need during the week and how much free time I actually HAVE, and if I keep my nighttime useage to a minimal amount during the week/spend the online time looking for apartments I can qualify for, then I'll actually have somewhere already set up for me to GO come June 1st, while still getting my work on here done. I can't apologize enough for the holdups really, this entire situation the past few months has been completely botched up at every turn for a variety of reasons. Between stepdad getting me fired from last job all the way to starting new job now and all the shit I got from my parents inbetween about how I deserved to be talked down to like the scum of the universe because HE lost my job, this has been a horrendous past few months.

I appreciate all of you sticking with me, expect a quickish trickle of sketch/line/color approvals and then mass uploads on weekends for the next few weeks!

Lots of house/family drama and job hunting has been going on lately, because my
stepfather lost my job for me (due to screaming at me while I was working/with a client, and
you have to have a completely silent office when you work from home.....).

I haven't been super proactive with my commissions thus far,

[THE SITUATION]

I went on a trip this weekend to Savannah, to surprise/hang out with VellaCRaptor,
whom is quite literally one of my best friends in the whole universe and we are planning on moving
in together in April.

My stepfather has a 4-year long history of emotionally abusing me ever since I came to live with him and my mother in an effort to get to know her when her health started jumping up and down (as any worried child would when they'd been raised mostly AWAY from their parents of course). Granted, I've had my fair share of being a brat over the years, but some of the venomous things he says on a day to day basis are literally uncalled for and horrific things you wouldn't even say to the scum of the universe.

I've had my character defaced, my self worth highly devalued, called a horrible person, a liar, a cheat, a manipulative user, and have been told he hopes I get arrested/die. He's literally told me before "Its too bad your last two suicide attempts didn't work out, the world would be better off without people like you".

Its'......honestly, that's not even the worst of it. He's used my mother's bad health as leverage for me to sit there and take his abuse day in and day out, but usually when I'm gone for a few days he lets up on me slightly.

This time, the MOMENT I came home, he was back at me, harangued me when I told them about a speeding ticket I had gotten without insurance on my car (which I had only not purchased because they kept telling me they'd take care of it) and I told them upfront I was just LETTING THEM KNOW so they wouldn't worry why I wasn't fixing my car's problems first. I told them I would pay for the fines with my job, as it is due 2/14/12. Over a month and a half to save up the funds.

After an argument and spending time with my mom alone (he always gets worse after I do that) he came to me and I couldn't hear him over my headphones, so he burst my door open, then threatened to ruin property I had personally paid for and break down my door leaving me no privacy (not that he gave me any anyways, he's been known to come in when I told him I was in bed/not clothed or changing when he really feels the need to yell). I cannot take this anymore without hurting myself or worse. I NEED to get out of this situation faster than April, my intended move out date. This has gone beyond the level of simply 'unhealthy' behavior and has just become a never-ending cycle of emotional turmoil created by a psychopath who honestly thinks he's doing 'right' by me.


So its been very hard for me to come to terms that I am abandoning my mother with this man (though he seems infinitely better with her than me, and she's also getting fed up and attempting to help me as much as she can so I can move on somewhere I can be healthy/happy, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't think she's being a bad mama, she's not. She's just disabled and can only do so much), but what little self worth I still have is screaming at me to remove myself from the situation.

To DO that I need cash. Lots of it. Granted, I work a job, but it won't be able to get me out as quickly as possible.
