yeah My dad changed his mind again so I get to go and he cant change his mind again because the ticket has been bought and its non refundable

I still don't know if I'm going to Iceland... my parents need to pay for the trip 'cus what little I have of money is stuck in Arion bank since I froze my account when my credit card was stolen... and I need to go to Iceland to reopen it.

but thats not the reason I need to go to Iceland right now though I need to get my drivers licence renewed for the first time (which according to Icelandic law requires me to take a driving test)

my mom wants to pay since I can pretty much pay for the stay myself with the before mentioned money... but dad says I need to stop being a god damn hippie and get a job (the count of applications I have written is now at 46)

I on the other hand know that taking the bus four times a day costs me(read "my parents") 600 kr per month
600*5 months= more than plane ticket
taking the certificate again here also = more than plain ticket

GIMP was being evil today and ate my drawing. I had to revert to a four hour old backup....

At least most of those four hours went into planning so I'll make it up in about an hour... still sucks though :(

bah! 640 x 400 is to small v.v if you ever see me starting one that small you may beat me to a pulp and save me the pain of trying to get details into a small canvas

Sorry for not starting the requested art yet!
I just happened to get a call from a local charity that wanted me to donate a drawing to their auction... but I did not want to just give them a drawing so I said I would draw a new drawing for them so I'm currently drawing that and it kinda has to be done by Friday so I probably wont get started on the gift art before tomorrow night or Friday depending on whether I manage to finish the charity drawing by then.

but don't worry they will get done before Sunday and there will be new Sunday giveaway spots next Sunday

was drawing people sitting in parks and in coffee bars today... unfortunately I gave each one away (for free) so I earned nothing from it other then skills ^-^ don't know how many I did but they were more then a few... my mom is pressing me to sell them for 5$ but I don't want to sit in the same spot with a sign all day. besides its more fun to see the smiling faces of the people who get the drawings :D

also I just got a deal with a coffee bar here that wants to show and sell my art ^-^

my oil paintings often go for more then 200$ and my drawings for about a 100$ so i'm ecstatic If I can just sell two or more the coming month I can get a desktop pc (I already have most of the parts) that handles Photoshop and a light board so I can ink

I'm in the last year of "service and sales" school in norway and despite having three years of documented experience as first an cash register employee then a middle manager I was under qualified or unwanted in most of the stores in this town as an apprentice...despite being free labor that is until I finally got the idea to apply at the local charity shop.

the shop sells used donated things the proceeds are donated to the salvation army and the people working here are people that are out of a job and are unable to get a new one for lack of experience or other various reasons.

any ways it was a lot of fun and unlike other internships I've been in the showed me every thing right off the bat (instead of just showing me the back room and telling me to put butter on sandwiches... worst job I've ever had)
