Posted 15 years agoYou did this to us. You have made our lives a living hell, and you dont realise, or simply do not care. Why should you? You have your 40 hours a week, your retirement plan, your social security, your mortage. You have your life set up for you already, and you dont need to struggle anymore. What do we have? Loans. Multiple jobs trying to get through. For those of us who can get jobs, that is. You have lived most of your lives. Our lives are now uncertain and filled with fear because you have been unable to provide a solid foundation for us. Our economy is spiraling towards depression. Our world is slowly dying, and all at your hands. Then in a few decades when you die, you will leave your mess for us to pick up, and we will be the ones floundering in the ashes of all the opportunities you burned to the ground. You have taken an entire generation and thrown them into a metaphorical hell, the hell of trying to get through this life alive. Will I have a job to pay for this apartment? Will I find work when I move out? Will I have a home 5 years from now, or will I be out on the streets, struggling to save enough money to get a roof over my head? I dont know, and it is that unknowing that angers me so, that causes so many people to almost wish for death now, before it can come so much more slowly. We should never have to live in a world where we wonder where our next meal is coming from, but there have been times when Ive had to go hungry because I just didnt have any other choice. Sleep? Barely. Too much work to do... school, homework, and soon a job. You get to come home to your wives and children every day. After the trip I have planned in 2 weeks, I dont know when I will be able to see my love again, because I will need to be working every day Im not in school. Again, if I can even find work. There arent jobs for people like me. No one wants to hire someone who has a school schedule to work around. Your children, your own children, are going to have to deal with this train wreck of a country when you are gone. Is this really the best you could leave for them? Do you feel that if you made it, anyone can? Times are changing. The world isnt as safe as it used to be, for any of us, and in too many ways to count. The future is unstable, and you have made it so. I will try to survive in this barren place that you have created for me. I will try to pick up the pieces of the mess you are leaving behind. I may not succeed. I may die in the effort, and become just another number on the list of casualities of this flawed, broken reality that we must inhabit. Posted 15 years agoHoly shit. Woke up to this morning to a winter wonderland, and a drivers worst nightmare.
Was out of cigs, and thats never a good thing to be... so what do I do? Go on an epic quest to quick fill... And I *swear* to god, I am one of the only drivers on the road with a lick of sense.
Going down the hill... also note that I *slid* at one point going down this hill even though I was under the speed limit... tailgated the entire time by this red sports car driving asshole. Almost wish he wold have rear ended me so he would have had to pay. >.>
THEN at the gas station, Im pulling out slowly cus the parking lot is a mess, careful as can fucking be, looking all around for cars, and someone pulls up behind me... I swear they came out of fucking nowhere, didnt see them til they honked their horn because they almost drove right into my rear end....
Then going up the hill I had to brake so fast I skidded because the truck in front of me neglected to use his brakes til the lat fucking minute and... of course... didnt have his turn signal on.
Now I want to point out... Im a paranoid driver. I got in an accident once and since then I have been beyond careful when Im on the road. So why is it that the driver who's really watching out for the people around them is the one who gets honked at and bitched out? People are assholes... Swear its these people that make me hate driving.
And just to let furaffinity know, because of course this website is all about our personal lives... ;P

I left home last tuesday. Ive been trying to get sorted crashing with my 2 best friends and organising shit, and just in general getting used to being out of my parents house. I dont know how Im going to get anything done. ;-; I have so many classes to catch up on, and several of my gen eds dont even count.... and theres some bullshit about substituting this, this and that gen ed with art classes..... and i have to take 18 credits in one advanced studio as an area of emphasis and 12 hours advanced of another..... at this rate Im never going to graduate. ;-;

Posted 16 years agoI saw an account get banned for posting "photos of illegal paraphenalia (omg could not figure out how to spell XD)" But really.... while I know certain states may have their own laws, on the federal level bongs, bowls, and other such things are *only* considered paraphenalia if they have traces of illegal substances or if there is significant proof that they are intended to be used for such purposes (ie. bag of weed setting next to the bong, etc..)
So really, is it right that the T.O.S. bans such things claiming them to be illegal when really they arent? O.o Should it not at least be worded differently?

To have your icons, a long paragraph dedicated to them and a huge list of all your songs.... Even if my love life wasnt in a painful place that would make me want to projectile vomit.
Oh, and how about saying very bluntly that your mate is "mine, no one touchy or else!" and then right below talking about your master... who is of course NOT the same person. Can we say hypocrite? Yes we can! n.n *grumble*

We talked a bit..
I guess our "on hold" is at this time looking like more of a "maybe someday"
It was nice to get some closure at least.
I honestly feel better than I have for the past month about any of this..
Not to say that Im instantly happy.
But better than I was.
If it so happens in the future that he and I get another chance together... thats wonderful.
If not... It wasnt meant to be and I hope that he finds his happiness, whatever that is for him.
And we can always look forward to yiffing in hell. ;P

I just kinda found that I fit well with the people I met.. I had always been a huge animal lover.. and trying to design my fursona had me doing a lot of soul searching. I know that my animal is me.

Any form of combination of animal and human characteristics. And in a more personal way, its almost a spiritual thing, because my fursona, my animal is much more to me than just a character thats fun to draw... shes a reflection of my inner self.
*If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?
Answer their questions honestly and give them the truth about the fandom.
*What are your favorite aspects of our community?
Ive found my closest friends in this fandom, and I dont know what more I can add to that.
