I am looking to work on a bigger project that has more artworks. Projects that have from 5 to 25 illustrations or even more if you have that kind of budget. It is a bit dark and has lot of violance so it did not get much view and attention but since this one is all characters in very dynamic poses I needed to upgrade my skills at the time. Still proud of it so I thought I make a journal for it.

I am lacking portrait artworks in my gallery as my focus was on landscapes but I am doing more and more characters now so this should also be there. I alwas kept my prices higher as some might say so it will stay that way. My idea was to make it around 170$ for nice detailed art in my semirealistic style. So how much do people ask for these. I got maybe two offers but since that was not in my price sheet it makes sense until now.

So one client asked me to make an artwork but he wants to put other artist characters into my background since he prefer the style so I am ok with that. Usually people want me to do it all as a commission of course but if you already got some high quality characters I can take it into consideration and make background for that specific character art.

Bora Bora Honeymoon is the only animation project I have worked on as an background artist and I owe it to Silkysworld Silkysworld mastermind. This person made all the animation himself and it is no wonder as he used to work years for Disney so it's my privilege to have been working on this together. It all came wonderfull in the end and so smooth and with a lot of humor to it and I can't start to describe how awesome the music is and it fits like a charm as it was made by one of the greatest compositor in the bussines. I could write days about how we worked on this but it's best you take a look and see for yourself if it's your cup of tea and let me know.

So I already have payment plan like 50/50 option but I wanted to see whqt works for you all... You can give me some ideas what works out for you. I have been givin big discounts but no luck so I wont be giving such discounts anymore but I can give better options for payment. I have been using one idea,a few times, like if piece costs 150$ or even 250$ we csn start with 80$ to 100$ and then rest on finish or when we agree on. I mean this works better for clients then for me so I prefer other options but me giving such options anyhow should be big win for a lot of folks. I know not everyone has like 300$ lying around for just art in this times. So let me know.

So a lot of people appreciate and love my work although the prices for best detailed pieces are too much for them and that's,fine. I start giving huge discounts but not much changed, the situation is like that right now so I came up with an idea. So I can make less detailed variations of artworks, linear, simple shading, more sketchlike look... And the prices should be lower. But I am still not sure how much so feel free to discuss, suggest, give more ideas I am open minded so don't hesitate. I will still have this option for detailed versions and maybe I even make better prices for that. I want this to work for both of us. Times are tough and I won't lie about it. I think this can motivate people and give access to those who just don't have,funds for my top tier art. And just to say it once more even though my top tier is higher priced I still give 50/50 payment option to make it far more aproachable. For now this is what I came up with.

I am far from best artist around here but there were few times people asked me for advice and I can give some if you need it about illustration. The Internet is oversaturated with good tutorials anyways but if you want to chat I am here although it may take a while to reply.

I have a question about favourites for my YCH templates. I see people are liking it but I am not sure if that is because they are planning on ordering a commission in the future or they just love the art since a lot of my templates are based on the art I already keep in my gallery. In early days I always deleted those templates because if someone wants to enjoy only the art and not be distracted by the bussines side of it that is better experience but then maybe I am taking away that from someone who wanted it. So I think if no one wants YCH in like 3 months from its uploading to gallery maybe its safe to say it can be deleted? I need more opinions on this. Its nothing huge I was just wondering.
