Updates on my stories.
Posted 2 months agoHi!
Been a while since I posted one of these. I'm sure some of you are wondering about the progress regarding my stories. I'm afraid that it's been rather slow, due to a lot of real life incidents, the biggest one being that I will need to start looking for a new job after working for almost eight years. I won't go into details about this, but I will say that I was made aware of this since the end of May. The following week will be my last one. I've already made a plan and don't worry - I will resume working on my stories when my motivation and creative spark return and the fact that I will have more free time while applying for jobs might result in more frequent uploads, but we shall see.
As such, rest assured for The Jackal That Cried Wolf and Blue Saber will continue to be updated! I've gone this far with these two stories and I will not abandon them.
Thank you for your attention!

2025!
Posted 10 months agoWell, another year will be over in seven hours from the time of this writing on my side of the globe - 2024 was... sorta like a mixed bag for me. Definitely not the worst year, but not the best. That being said, I intend to make 2025 a better year for me - I have a quite a few resolutions for next year like starting to make my own pencil sketches (like the ones Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2 has in his journal), improve my health (physically and mentally) and, overall, just organize my time more efficiently. It's not easy with having a job and responsibilities taking most of my free time, but I'll try my hardest this upcoming year. I need a new change. I need more positive vibes and activities to keep me going.
With all of that said, I wish you all a Happy New Year! Bring on 2025!

How my stories/chapters are written.
Posted 10 months agoHi, everyone!
Been a while since my last journal entry. I've had this idea for quite some time - what if I were to share with my followers/viewers/readers the whole process that I undertake when working on a story/chapter? Well, today is the day I'm gonna do it - I'll give you insight on what goes down behind the scenes, sort of speak.
Without further ado, let us begin - my process involves four crucial stages:
Stage 1 - The Draft. This is the easiest one - in this stage, I write down the thoughts, ideas and images that I have in my mind. I don't need to worry about consistency or even grammar. Without those elements. I could write a draft for a story or a chapter in two days or even less, if I'm very motivated and not distracted by external factors. Now, there is still a narrative flow in this stage - I don't just write random scenes without there being something tying them together.
Stage 2 - The Rewrite. This one, arguably, takes me the longest and that is heavily dependent on how many pages the document has. About 99% of the draft from Stage 1 is rewritten and I also need to take into consideration the elements mentioned earlier among others. Sometimes, the flow and the way the sentences are structured just doesn't feel right and time is needed to fix that along with necessary resources like Google translate, Meridian or other dictionaries. I also try to avoid repeating words as much as I can so that the writing doesn't look redundant and unappealing to any reader as well as correcting any grammar mistakes made during Stage 1.
Stage 3 - The Final Touches and Polishes. Not as long as Stage 3 but it feels like that, sometimes. This is the part in which I go over the entire document, fix any grammar or spelling mistakes and maybe change a few words/sentences. Once that is done, I will then need to make multiple copies (around 3-4) in different formats (like Notepad) because some websites are very stingy and only accept certain formats. Now, I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but whenever I try to copy-paste what I wrote in Google Docs or Open Office, most of the paragraphs are improperly positioned. So, I need to go over the same document once more and adjust the paragraphs. If any of you know a fix for this so that I don't have to deal with this every single time I am about to upload a chapter or a story, please let me know.
Stage 4 - The Uploading. When I reach this stage, I feel a sense of accomplishment and I notify all of my friends and anyone interested in my stories - all that is left for me to do is to wait for their feedback on my work.
And that is pretty much it - it may sound complex, but I've gotten used to it and it's been helping me a lot, ever since I started working on what some might consider my Magnum Opus, "The Jackal That Cried Wolf."
If you are an aspiring writer or someone who has written some works and needed a guiding hand, I hope that you found this helpful and I wish you the best of luck with your works!
Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year, everyone!

Milestone reached - 150 Watchers
Posted a year agoA big thank you to all of you for helping me achieve this milestone!
I'm fully aware that I've been silent for a long time - that's because I didn't have anything major to announce. This time, I made an exception. Whether you watch me because of my stories, the commissioned artwork or both, it means a lot to me that you've taken the time to give me a watch!
Till the next journal entry, have a pleasant morning/afternoon/evening and best of luck! ^^

Writer's block and other stuff.
Posted 2 years agoHi,
Happy Holidays!
I understand that some of you have been waiting patiently for the next chapter of "The Jackal That Cried Wolf" - I have been working on it and while the draft is finished, I'm not satisfied with it and will have to heavily re-write it. Given how the last chapter ended, there's a certain level of expectation that I have set up for it as I don't want to disappoint my readers. Thing is, reaching that expectation is easier said than done. If I'm not pleased with my work, more than likely you won't be as well.
There's also the fact that I've been busy with other stuff, mostly gaming, my job and other personal stuff. Rest assured that the next chapter is coming, but it looks like I may not be able to get it done by the end of the year. All I ask is for a bit more patience. I will try to better organize my schedule next year so that I can do more stuff over the course of a day and get more writing done. One other thing that I have to do is stop thinking that I have a schedule to meet when it comes to my stories. That right there creates an inconvenience rather than a solution - more stress for me which results in a bigger writer's block. I hope to remedy this starting next year as well.
I thank you for your attention and understanding. Till my next journal entry, I wish you all A Happy New Year!

Return of the Writing Groove
Posted 2 years agoHi, everyone!
Been a while since my last update. I know that I've been neglecting my stories for a while and I want to apologize for that. There have been a lot of things that have been distracting me for a very long time - the renovations, my job, personal issues and video games. Guess I failed one of my New Years resolutions, but that won't put a dent on my motivation and passion. I've got my groove back and I should have a new story chapter uploaded soon. Thank you all for your patience and understanding!

Reflections on 2022
Posted 3 years agoI'm aware that there are still a couple of days left before 2022 is finally over, but I want to share my thoughts on it while they are still fresh in my mind. So, 2022 - I can honestly say that, had it not been for the latter half of it, I would have considered this to be one of the worst years of my life. In the first half, my grandmother had to be hospitalized in January before passing away in July, I got Covid in February (about a week or so before my birthday) and there have been a lot of other factors and worldwide events which contributed to my stress and anxiety levels. Not to mention, I failed on my resolution for this year to have a story chapter uploaded monthly like I did back in 2021 when I started writing The Jackal That Cried Wolf Story.
With that said, once August rolled in, things have started to improve. I was able to get back into my writing groove, get my stuff sorted out and even came up with a secondary project for me to work in the future. I also set up my first ever Paypal Account so that I can start commissioning artists and support them financially - thus, the new drawings you've been seeing on my account. I figured that, if I want to evolve and grow as a writer, I will need to add some "visual flair" to my account in addition to writing. I already am planning on what next steps to take in order to hopefully make a career out of my writing skills - only time will tell if I will fail or succeed. Regardless of the outcome, I will forever be overwhelmed with joy knowing that there are people out there in this world who enjoy what I write.
If there is one thing that has kept me from falling into a state of depression, it would have to be my circle of friends (online and real life) - you have all been my support pillars, my "healers", the hands that caught me and pushed me forward. I cannot thank you enough for everything that you've done for me - you are the reason why I'm looking forward to what opportunities and chances I get in the future and I appreciate every single one of you.
Here's hoping that 2023 will be a better and more productive year. Things are already heading in a right direction as I'm writing this and I hope that it will maintain its course in the upcoming year.
In conclusion, I can hardly wait to bid 2022 farewell - thank you all for reading.

Life Updates - Part IV
Posted 3 years agoIt's been a while since my last one. Well, I've moved on with my life and accepted that my grandma has passed away. A new chapter has started in my life and it's quite a busy one - my roommate has returned after a year and a half and we are now in the process of renovating our apartment and, at the end of year, we are planning on getting a pet kitten. As such, busy times have come and will continue for a while.
I apologize for not uploading a new story chapter in a long while - I will try to start editing the draft I have as soon as I can for I do want to post a new chapter as soon as I can. Until the renovations are done, my writing will be impacted by it, but I'll do my best to spare some time for it. Still, I haven't completely left my projects completely in the dust as I have thought of some ideas and concepts that I will use down the line in later chapters.
Once more, thank you for your patience, understanding and your kind messages in my last journal entry.
Peace!

R.I.P. Grandma
Posted 3 years agoMy grandma passed away today. She was 83 Years Old - the help and support she gave to me since my dad passed away in 2013 and my mom in 2016 are so great that I cannot describe them in words. I probably wouldn't have been where I am had it not been for her - I'll miss you, Grandma.
Real Life Issues
Posted 3 years agoHaven't updated in a while and, given the present situation, I felt that it is best for you all to know. My grandma's health has been deteriorating since last month and she is not showing any signs of recovery. I just know that she doesn't have much time left and having to mentally prepare myself for that inevitable, dreadful day of when she will no longer be in this world has taken a toll on my motivation for writing. I have the draft for the upcoming Jackal story finished - I just need to start the editing process, but that will take some time given the circumstances. I also got some upcoming commissions to post as well, so you can look forward to those as well. I thank you all for your patience and understanding - means a lot.
Till next time - take care and stay safe.

Story Updates
Posted 3 years agoHi, everyone!
I know it's been a month or so since my last update in regards to my projects. I've been rather busy lately with real life stuff and I had no motivation to start working on my new project or chapter VIII of "The Jackal That Cried Wolf." I've been doing some thinking lately and I decided to postpone my new project since I want to do some more brainstorming on it in order to deliver a great reading experience for everyone. As such, I shall soon start working on chapter VIII of the Jackal story and then work on my new project after that.
Thank you all for your attention, patience and support!

Update - Part Three
Posted 3 years agoHi!
It's been like what? Two months from my last post? Yikes - well, I wanted to let you know that the seventh chapter of the Jackal story will be published soon as it's about... 70% completed at the time of this writing. I apologize for both the lack of updates and the fact that the chapter is taking this long to be uploaded. The thing is that, when life decides to be a bitch, you gotta first deal with its whining and complaining before she lets go of you and your mind can focus on other stuff.
Once more, thank you for your patience and I hope that you'll enjoy the upcoming story chapter along with a new idea I will be working on after.

Story and Life Update
Posted 3 years agoWell, it's been some time since my last update - for those of you wondering, my grandma is okay and is making a slow recovery. Unfortunately, her having a small fracture was only the beginning of bad stuff to happen to me and it caused a big delay with my projects/stories, so there goes my New Year's Resolution - after what happened to my grandma, I had a lot of stuff to sort out and everything was about to come to a pleasant conclusion, when I received the news that I was diagnosed with Covid. Don't know how it happened and, quite frankly, I don't care - it's happened and, thankfully, I don't have any symptoms to affect me in any shape or form.
With that said, I'm happy to announce that I've resumed working on chapter VII of "The Jackal That Cried Wolf" - this one might take a while given what I have in mind for the story, but I assure you that it will be worth the wait. Hopefully, my string of bad luck has ended (cause what else can happen to me?) and things will go back to normal.
I want to thank all of you for the love and appreciation you've shown towards my story - it really means a lot. Also, I'm sure you all noticed the influx of commissions with Artemis. Well, there's a reason for that, aside from the fact that I, finally, set up a PayPal account - she's big in my story, so it's only fitting that she'd be big in real life as well and dazzle you all with her personality, beauty, charm and, of course, height. XP
Take care, everyone!

Story Delay
Posted 3 years agoUnfortunately, due to the fact that my grandma had to be hospitalized today after she fell and fractured her thigh, Chapter VII of "The Jackal That Cried Wolf" or any other project will be delayed. I apologize for those who were excited for the upcoming chapter with Artemis, but given the circumstances that have left a negative impact on my disposition as well as other things that I need to sort out, working on my projects is now on the bottom of my to-do list. It won't be for long, though - in the meantime, thank you all for your understanding.
2021 Retrospective.
Posted 4 years agoWell, here we are again - another year gonna go vanish into the dark, empty void and a new one will step in. Will it be better or worse than the last one? Only time will tell and I will try to maintain a positive outlook - 2021 wasn't anything too special - it had both its ups and downs, but I'd say that out of all the good stuff that has happened during this year, the best one has to be that I found an idea for a story back in April and have kept on working on it since then and that is something that very rarely happens to me. I look forward to see what new projects I will create in 2022, if my dream of converting my stories into other forms of art will become a reality and what new opportunities will open up for me as well as dedicating time for some changes to my life. 2022 has to turn things around - it has to. Otherwise, I will beat it with a stick.
Moonknighting Revival
Posted 4 years agoSo, I got an announcement. The Jackal That Cried Wolf story will be put on hiatus for bit for I need to work on my other project, Moonknighting. As much as I love the Jackal story, I have neglected my other story for far too long and that needs to change.
Story Update - Part Deux
Posted 4 years agoI will be uploading the second chapter of my Not All Heroes Wear Capes featrluring the giant bean of justice, Artemis, sometime on Saturday. The motivation and determination have been through the roof for me and I hope that I will be able to upload a new chapter or story monthly.
Story Update
Posted 4 years agoSeeing as how I haven't done this in a while, just wanted to announce that a new story will be published soon. LE GASP! A new story? After so many months of inactivity? Yes, I know - I'm a lazy asshole who likes to procrastinate and watch stupid stuff on Youtube.
Expanding The Moonknighting Universe.
Posted 5 years agoA thought came to me one night - if I am going to expand and make a story's world/universe more engaging, I will need to bring more life into it. As such, once in a while, expect some short stories that are set in the World of Moonknighting! There will be variety with some stories having happy endings while others will have tragic, dark endings and some will even be referenced or play a big part in the main story. I might consider doing the same for Aegis, but I will need to finish the first chapter, first.
Take care, everyone, and stay safe!

Future Journal Entries
Posted 5 years agoI have considered the possibility to add journal entries in which I can announce what projects I'm working on, more information about the lore and characters, my current mood and so and so forth.
The entries won't come very frequently - I don't have much free time given my job so don't expect these entries to pop out frequently. I also thought about adding polls or pick questions that some of you might want to ask you and feature them in the entries.
As I said earlier, it's still a work in progress and that will depend on the amount of interest.
Take care and good luck!

Don't expect a lot of tweets. I'm new to the website.
