Dead Monitor; Possible Commission Delays
Posted 10 years agoAbout three days ago one of my monitors suddenly showed only a black screen after being on for a brief moment (only about a few seconds), repeating it every time it turned on. Searches online turned up that it might be something to do with its internal capacitors being screwy and a lower monitor brightness setting could help, but even after that it only bumped up working time to about a minute or so before it cut out again. Kept trying with other stuffs but looks like it's biting the dust at this rate, and I'm out a monitor for the time being.
Fortunately, I had a two monitor setup so this doesn't prevent me from using my main desktop computer with one instead. As well, I'm at least halfway to having the funds I need to get a new one (fixing the current one looks like it'll take longer to do and cost more, funny enough). Unfortunately, losing it has had a more significant impact on my workflow than I thought it would have, both for classwork and commissions, and the earliest I can get a new monitor seems to be a week at earliest.
As such, apologies to everyone I owe art to if it takes longer to get to your piece than I expected. I'll make sure to meet deadlines for holiday and birthday-related commissions though.
To my commissioners and anyone who I have a pending trade with, feel free to shoot me a note about any inquiries you may have relating to any trades or commissions I owe you.

Summary: Out a monitor for the time being, possible delays for commissions and other artwork. Send a note if you have any questions about your piece.

Backgrounds: $0.00 to +$14.00
(Simple backgrounds such as backdrops and solid colors/shapes are no charge while rooms, landscapes and the like add depending on complexity and type of commission.)
Complex characters/patterns: +$1.00 to +10.00
(Complex designs include wings, patterns, ferals, etc. Price scales with complexity and type of commission.)
On completion, you get two versions of the commission: the original size and an FA sized one. On request, I can also send over .psd or .lip (Clip Studio Paint Files) files.
Payment is done through Paypal invoice and occurs after a WIP sketch is approved.
Most fetishes can be done except for cub and certain types of rule 34.
If curious about any type of commission, unsure about certain content/specific fetishes or have any other inquiry, feel free to send a note. As well, feel free to ask about estimated turnover time and progress on commissions.
Comic pages ranging from 2-5 panels each on average.
A set of thumbnail sketches for the whole comic is sent out before working on WIPs for individual pages. Progress continues on a per page basis.
Prices scale according to the type of art, the amount of characters involved, the complexity of those characters, background preferences and more. A rough estimate for a two character comic with a basic background is 25 for black and white or 35 for shaded color.
