As of October 2nd, the Mario & Luigi developers, AlphaDream, has declared bankruptcy.

I can only describe my feelings as this. I am not only devastated, I am also horribly let down. I'm pissed off, actually. Are you fucking serious with this? A company that was and still is near and dear to my heart, suddenly dying off like this? As if this year couldn't get any more fucking terrible as is. They were the only hope that Mario RPGs ever had going for, and now they're dead.

I will never get to see another M&L game. Ever again.

Some shallow, wasteful mess that once called itself Paper Mario, thoroughly stuck in the NSMB bullshit overwhelming itself with a wannabe original character, an overabundance of some tired, weak waste of another character (Toad), and zero antagonistic focus. I am currently working on revitalizing my Batman AU as well (Earth-F604), with some designs being retooled a bit - though I had to 're-pixelate' three of the pictures (Batman, Pyg and Clayface) since I accidentally got slightly low-res copies of the files, plus I had to redo Azrael from scratch all because I did not have the original files available to me. So the three 'redone' ones may look a bit clunkier in terms of the outlines, but I hope you don't mind!

I plan on trying to finish by this week, but I am rough with deadlines so it may take longer.

Edit: Batman bios are up and running, will go up to 75 bios as opposed to 100 with the Spidey ones.

Yeah, unfortunately I am still here. I haven't had many ideas in terms of posting artwork (most of it is private artings or just shared with one or two people). I have had a few come up but I am still considering them before it actually happens.

Yeah. I've gotten dumb enough to bring those artworks back up again. Reasons will be stated when it is posted.

This is more or less repeating what I have said last journal, but I will leave it short and simple.

Due to a snowball effect of various troubling events that happened over the past two months, I am going to undergo a long hiatus - not just from here, but pretty much social media as a whole, for an undefined period of time. I have abandoned my Twitter and YouTube accounts permanently (the latter I only use to watch videos now), which is why they are no longer available on this page. My Discord also has its settings changed: no one can add me at the moment. I simply just don't want to deal with any social media things at the moment; I will only be kind of active on Discord, at least toward my closer friends and significant other, and when I'm not there I will either be offline or on YT. I need a long-ass break, really, and I feel like a total ass after all of these incidents. Especially the last one.

I will not say what these events are, what I will say is that they are over and done with, and all I have left is the fallout that's plaguing my mind completely.

I apologize for the lack of activity for the past few days. Putting aside that there is still work to be done to get fully settled in my new location, I'm also dealing with awful issues. Issues that are getting worse.

It's both physical and mental; the main issue is that I haven't slept much in a while, and despite continuous medication, I'm still not only unable to sleep, but I'm also either severely anxious, cynical or easily upset. I can't even feel comfortable anymore. Every time I get out of my bed, I just feel this hesitating feeling of even going downstairs, fearing what I could come across. Sometimes I just go downstairs without any reason behind it.

Beyond these personal issues, my computer is still yet to be relocated. Right now I just have my phone and laptop, but until then I will not be able to do artworks or much else either.

I will keep you updated once I have access to it, and I will also update you with everything else. Thank you for your patience so far.

So I decided to make a journal regarding recent happenings; the deal is that I have moved out of my previous home, hence my lack of activity. It was frightening since I haven't moved to a new place in over 13 years, but now it's done with. I do have more things left to go, including my PC (I am on my phone and will get on my laptop soon), but in the short term, I am ready to continue where I left off.

I rarely use "away", but whenever I do it's usually, again, for only a few minutes.
