Update out of the blue since FA is still an artist hate n...
General | Posted 2 years agoAdmittedly, I've been depressed for a while due to my hard work that takes months a time to make due to my disabilities to be labelled falsely as AI. I only just got yet another harassing comment on this post:
https://furaffinity.net/journal/10758596
I understand I did get reasonably good fast in the first 2 years as an artist in terms of line acuity, but this is because my disciplined involvement in the DrawABox.com lessons, everyone who follows the prospectus has the same line acuity as me, you literally "need" that to pass the course and it is for beginners. I spend a great deal of time on my art, hence I am slow. I have OCD and physical disabilities and have been harassed nonstop by trolls and even moderators who don't even accept videos of drawing as evidence that something is not AI. Attacking a non-monetary focused hobbyist is outright bizarre anyway. Meanwhile corps are making billions from minority background anime and furry artist's art, and these people focus on attacking the small minority artist. I agree AI needs to be moderated and removed from FA, but no one using AI is going out of their way to fake hundreds of hours of work and if anyone thinks that they are outright delusional and inherently malicious and slanderous cause no one making profit from AI is going to redraw images they can generate in seconds from artists with better drawing skills than they.
However, despite my lack of posting I have been working on personal/private projects. Here is a few things I have been working on / learning:
Programming
* I had helped develop an application that allowed people with partial blindness and motor issues like myself use eyetrackers more efficiently
* I had helped a next-gen WGPU-based application that allows various platforms to utilise art-making software from the browser without the slow-downs of single-threaded OpenGL. I aim to encourage applications like Krita take a similar multi-threaded method, but it's proof of concept and up to their team.
* I have helped anti-AI tools improve massively. If you haven't already I suggest you protect your art with Glaze, Sieve or Mist as well. It's verified now these applications cannot be exploited anymore by smoothers such as adversial denoisers and Glaze images did significant damage to the training of more recent AI models, so keep glazing guys, it works
* I have helped improved something called Blender Grease Pencil with various contributions in house and plugin utility code, including stroke order management for animation, and boy Python is an awful language, certainly Blender needs a better API too they made it all modal hook based but Blender itself is component based which are two incompatible design patterns
Art
* I have helped various people grow and expand with artistic critique. I am always happy to help people grow skill-wise and I have invented various methods and techniques to help them, especially if they have issues and disabilities like myself
* I had produced card art featuring foxes for a charity project in Spring 2024 to help raise money for disabled children
* I have extensively promoted various non-AI focused sites, such as Cara, The Garden and Side7. But not FA, as clearly FA cannot tell art from AI when it comes to fine art
* I have been working in Blender and learning extensively about how I can model in it. I don't have a strong PC, but fortunately others have helped me. The choice of 3D was because (besides interest) there is no decent 3D AI so trolls can't pretend to the mods that it is AI. Hopefully there is not suddenly 3D AI, though. It feels awfully inconvenient I began to learn art 2 years before AI plagiarism became a thing, certainly bad timing. And I feel for those who are even starting out earlier than me right now, especially if they had to pay for their education with low affordance because they might not ever be able to pay off the student debt for a job that gets replaced by the techno-fash
* I have been practicing quick-drawings just lately, which can come out quite funny at times since I combine mouse, trackers and a small tablet.
* I have produced art for two indie games and some background art for a small film and began to interact with the industrial art communities more extensively albeit having no interest in most industrial styles since sometimes they do like artists like us furries, both feral and anthro :3
UX
* Not going too much into my professional work but I've had opportunity to try out new cutting edge technologies for testing user experience, which fortunately AI cannot replace as a job, cause well... only people can genuinely verify user experience. So I feel my current job is at least safe, unless people stop caring. Too bad UX pays pittance though.
The overall reason I haven't posted much online is because, well, I don't want my art stolen and then called AI. Can you blame me? The internet is a hell hole atm, but much of the real world still likes real art with a soul behind it.
At least recently I've been able to grow my skills even if slowly. So depression aside, at least I got stuff done. I know trolls like saying I talk like a robot because of my autistic communication styles but I am a real person with real feelings and I'd rather channel my issues through logical solutions rather than visceral self-loathing. These people can't have read a book in their life, I know this rant is long but paragraphs are not TL;DR and just because someone writes academically does not mean they are ChatGPT, GPT "copies" well-studied people and I study a lot. I have been bullied all my life and I will not tolerate it from FA nor people who troll no matter how much they identify as/with cutesy animal characters.
Certainly it's been disheartening for many artists and I know many other artists who've had such false accusations. Based on what I've seen I feel it's primarily due to jealousy by capitalistic artists who make money but don't really have much skill so they take it out on those who spend more quality time on their art than they. I'm sorry, capitalists, but as a hobbyist I'm not turning to daily bucket-fill YCHs, you being more generic than AI for only changing a few pixels a time isn't my problem. You do you but I am not so soulless especially not to deprecate those who actually make fine art. I make art how I do because I enjoy it and value like-minded people rather than purely social media click counts. I believe artists who are professional should be paid decently for their hard-working labour rather than their click and bucket-fill counts. Apathetic numbers are not a true audience and art is a social thing. I can't imagine how much of a hollow husk most of us would be today if art didn't exist. Art is very spiritual.
My health isn't the best atm so I'm even slower than usual. I've been having on-going hypotension, underweight (15< bmi), anxiety, orthopnea, crepitus, worsening cataract (I can't see at all outside or on white backgrounds anymore) and other things (*old woman sounds*) since the start of my stress. Well I don't expect trolls or mods to give a damn about me, but likely any update will go to my social media if nowhere else. It's quite concerning that sites run by transphobes somehow give me more freedom to post art than a site that allegedly is "liberal" in views. As a trans-intersex person I thought I'd expect better from such people as a disabled trans-intersex person below the poverty line. Hopefully either FA improves or I find a more suitable site because these days we don't really have good community despite all the social media sites, these days art is just "content" like in some kind of dystopian 1984 satire. I noticed FA like DA has become a lot quieter so I know a lot of people are feeling the toxicity of late, but then furry drama is not exactly a new thing even if these days it is exponentially worse thanks to socio-capitalistic oligarchic cancel culture.
I at least hope others who have been struggling will see an improvement soon.
Of course this is more of a rant but I needed to get it off my chest, for me and like-minded. I'm not afraid to speak out against bigotry as someone who works hard and tries their best within their physiological limits.
Let me know if you want me to share my progress on social media (or here) but don't expect finished pieces cause as said I'm not doing so well. Also need time to Glaze any WIPs I do of course. Recommending me any sites I could try if you want,

FA still accusing my art of AI, altering claims
General | Posted 2 years agoFA now says that the parts of the image they accuse as AI are "in the face", "at the rear".
I've asked them now to circle this, and highlighted that at my current skill level if I was to use AI I would be able to avoid looking like such, considering my ink drawing is "below" my overall ability.
But no, just nebulous claims, e.g. they just decide that a random part of my stroke work is somehow "AI" even though the stroke work is clearly the same brush throughout.
I mean they did the same for other pieces, which had vector layers. And they backed down from that, because they couldn't really refute such.
But it seems like they're blaming the design now instead of artifacts. Meaning they're acting like AI can claim all art styles "between" existing ones are now AI.
Like they're acting like AI is some kind of super-artist that can copyright all interpolations of existent styles before they exist.
I'm still waiting for them to "show" what exactly is "AI" that they feel my design work looks like.
But then the pro-AI trolls who banned me from their AI-filled server and accused this same piece as being "AI" literally said the same and wouldn't prove it.
I don't like the attitude that says AI has a style, because AI copies from artists. The most creative thing AI can do is re-skin and interpolate using the time-expensively crafted paintwork from other images.
The point to which AI interpolates between two styles is not indifferent from when an artist references two different styles, as well.
I'm very much doubting FA can find anything similar before my art was made. The problem with their system is the lack of objectivity, removing AI is a good thing; just removing images blaming them as AI isn't.
I want to know the AI model, the prompt, the images, and ideally the training sources.
As for all they know if there was an AI model that looked remotely similar, it's either a) copied my existent work, or b) others' art I've subconsciously absorbed.
I tend to avoid AI images so I'm pretty sure I haven't subconsciously absorbed them, though it's not impossible either. I dislike the look of them though and don't see the similarities.
Anyway I feel increasingly unsafe on this site. Here are some other places I am:

FA calling layered art files AI-based
General | Posted 2 years agoAs some may be already aware from my last journal, yet ANOTHER image was taken down.
This time it was a INKING that was primarily uncoloured.
This is after several ticket bumps and them saying they didn't receive the two emails I sent them, plus I sent an additional third in the end.
As always, I haven't been rude at all in my tickets either, just providing proof and explaining the situation.
See: https://i.ibb.co/SJmmgjT/7.gif
This image (NSFW) was taken down from FA:
https://e621.net/posts/4443685?q=inafox
The whole artwork is 100% made by me. Not an AI whatsoever. It's literally lines, specks and gradients on TRANSPARENT layers, which AI can't do.
It's an ink drawing for goodness sake. There's not a single element in my artwork that is at all resembling an AI image. Admittedly it's a bit low res and the lower resolution version is a bit wonky, but that's not my fault, I did do these pieces on mobile CSP, mostly when I was in hospital a few weeks ago.
A lot of the art I make is just WAY too big for an AI to process as well. And trolls saying I can't "draw as good" as in my ink drawings I just posted, clearly are blind to the timelapses and other WIPs I've posted in the past that document my work. The ink drawing got a lot of favourites, more than my higher-quality artwork, and I'm thankful of that but adding a few extra tufts and doing male POV doesn't mean that ink drawing is "better" than my other art. As a female I personally prefer making art that isn't male POV, and determining male POV as "better" just seems clearly misogynistic. It was the first set of images I had made in mind to appeal predominantly to males, while my usual art is purely fun / self-expression or side practice work.
I made another ticket, no response yet, saying this:
https://pastebin.com/fdQVXEMX
You can look at the forensic stuff I added as well, they're added as links.
It's clear every element in my art is 100% a line of the same 2 brushes, or a gradient and all my other art has similar such elements of rendering.
Trolls were saying my art looks AI because "gradients" as well, then when I do line art or painting they call that AI, too. It's nonsense and hearsay.
This is done even after literally telling me to upload lines as WIPs.
I don't like that FA is second-besting obvious evidence when the trolls who reported me are both pro-AI and harass me on just about everything from autism, my disabilities and the fact I'm trans and intersex as well. I don't see a lot of people who aren't being bullied and targeted having their images taken down (or at least they haven't said), but I have noticed those who have had this issue were being cancelled by some troll, etc. So clearly discriminatory obviously and I don't like how FA just let people exploit their report system this way. This all started on Discord ages ago, it impacted my DA, my IB and e6. Though fortunately e6's mods would listen to me, may be because many are artists themselves. I don't know who's who with FA's moderators cause it's all anonymous, and I have no idea their experience with art nor what objective system they use to evaluate if something is AI.
I was accused of "partial" AI edits after being accused of it being "fully AI", and even another time a "trace over AI" which makes no sense at all as you could say that for all art without evidence obviously as my previous journal mentioned.
FA mods didn't tell me what or where the "partial edit" was on the image that was "supposed" to be AI. I can't even figure out how partial AI editing would work in CSP for goodness sake, it's not AI Photoshop. And inversely AI doesn't understand Clip Studio Paint's layered proprietary format or brushes and special layers nor transparency. But remember, this happened even for a project that was pre-AI era, had vector layers and 100% layer FX, so it doesn't seem this is particularly cared for or regard.
At best FA will have a proper look at the evidence, or at least tell me what they think is AI so I can replace that and document it .
Or at worst someone is biased and just trying to cancel me or remove me from the site, in which case you too should be vigilant.
Or it could go somewhere in-between like they just refuse to look at the evidence and show they don't have any AI determination method to begin with and go by report counts.
Hopefully they'll see some sense though, I've probably spent more time defending the piece than I spent drawing it by now since it's been a whole week coming on two now.
But if I don't make these appeals, and I upload another art, and get warned because they decide that's AI, too. I can get banned right?
So yeah, what else am I supposed to do, just sit and be cancelled and be continually abused by trolls on the other sites full of AI I guess if FA doesn't let me use its site anymore?

FA removed another image due to false claim trolls
General | Posted 2 years agoApparently even posting WIPs of your work is considered removable if some troll reports it falsely as being an AI image on FA.
It's been a week since my 70+ favourite image has been removed to the dismay of several of my patrons who have even considered leaving FA because of this. Several non-artists have had their commissions removed again from years prior to AI even being a thing, a simple FA search shows this:
https://reddit.com/r/ArtistHate/com.....gainst_ai_and/
https://furaffinity.net/journal/10600829/
https://furaffinity.net/view/54378297/
https://furaffinity.net/journal/10415399
https://furaffinity.net/journal/10543383/
Naturally as a artist who spends A LOT of time on each piece, this is profoundly upsetting. I was also warned as a result.
It is great that FA forbids AI, but the system is way too trollable and should follow "interrogate before delete" not "delete before interrogate".
The image is part a series of images on the mobile version of CSP from back when I was in hospital, hence the layered .clip format for the coloured versions especially. Usually I don't do a lot of just ink art, but mobile CSP is sheer pain to work in for me.
I opened a support ticket last week on this day, still no response, they responded 2 days asking me to send the project... Which was already in the support ticket I sent. So I sent it again in an email as asked. I sent .clip and .psd for compatibility.
The image was already "removed" from e621, then I sent the moderator the project file, they restored the art in just a few hours.
This is the image: https://e621.net/posts/4443685
The image in no way is perceived as "AI" by "AI detectors" either:
https://aiornot.com
https://app.illuminarty.ai

I agree these aren't always reliable, but it makes you wonder, how would a human assume something is AI if a machine can't either?
AI certainly makes certain mistakes, but I imagine people who would want to falsify artistry would spend some effort fixing what is commonly perceived to be "AI mistakes". By then you can accuse literally any artist. That's why I believe in WIPs and never thought posting WIPs like line art would cause an issue to begin with, because I know for sure AI can't understand lines well at the moment, much less make timelapses as with much of my art. Yet one troll claimed I literally "paint" over AI even. It's quite painful for me to have my inventive hard work dismissed, especially when I spend the time to actually show myself making it, which is for most artists a privilege only shared with patrons behind a paywall.
These trolls also literally only do this whenever my art gets a lot of favourites, like very single time they try to either down-rate my art, no matter how much effort in posting WIPs, timelapses, etc. That's why I often see on sites my art temporarily dip first if I linked it in Discords with such trolls, but if I don't post where these trolls are this dip doesn't happen. One troll couldn't hold the argument and just banned me out of jealousy because they kept "losing" for the fact they can't deny by my emphasis on WIPs.
Despite the fact some pro-AI trolls (of whose servers are full of AI) claiming my work to be AI out of what is clearly jealousy from their tone and actions. The fact they banned me claiming I posted "AI" in a server that even posts AI says it all, doesn't it? Not one of these trolls has shown me a single AI generator that can emit images with my line work and brush in a 2k+ fidelity with consistent texture and aliasing but claim it "looks" like AI and even ridiculed the tail of the character as being "too short" for a fox, which is purely a insult and they were mocking me for it as if "AI" make such mistakes without the user checking.
Then another troll came about claiming I traced an AI, after the fact their claim my art is "AI generated" and has "AI artifacts" in it being clearly plain false. This is clearly discriminatory because you could literally say this for any art, because AI is trained on existent art, and as such AI plagiarism would be indistinguishable from human plagiarism, only AI is less likely to be caught. AI does not "have" an "art style", it just copies the most popular styles it can, and naturally human artists strive for popular elements in their design work, too. Industrial artists and hobbyists alike me vary their art style a lot because they work with graphical design rather than style tropes, this is how and why different artists draw in different styles from project to project. I prefer to my design work rather than have the same design work, primarily because I have a passion for graphic design and gestalt art theory. That said I also haven't seen any AI that can do anatomy that doesn't look like it wasn't either from an existent composition as-is or literally some kind of contorted taxidermy, no doubt because AI works in the 2D domain. They literally move the goalposts with each one of their defamatory claims and single me out to harass me.
Even calling my signature that clearly says my name in my patronage's script, and even art I made BEFORE the whole AI thing, as in previous times, even attacking my journals:
https://furaffinity.net/journal/10595768/
https://furaffinity.net/journal/10601319/
The only reason these trolls are reporting me is because I call them for stealing art and started using Nightshade Alpha which poisons AI models by making the AI model "plagiarise" data the AI can't use. The trolls try to use loopholes to "get their own back" on artists protecting their work from plagiarism.
God knows how artists are going to be verified as not being AI when the whole Gaussian Splatting technology because integrated with plagiarist AI because 99% of false claims of AI rely on "inconsistency", yet AI can literally be more consistent than human artists... Because it's a plagiaristic machine. Now AI can animate, be 3D, and perfectly copy styles. Clearly those who take false reports have no clue how AI works and are accepting hearsay as reports. You can see from AI piracy sites that AI can literally steal any style you give it, but it's not very good at inventing design work with motifs, fidelity and structure like I do.
I'm not happy with the fact people accusing artists falsely of AI wouldn't lift a finger if some AI piracy site stole an artist's work, yet somehow as the original artist you'd get accused of using AI on the sheer basis of claims rooted in zero empirical evidence. In fact aren't WIPs the absolute contrary? What AI plagiarist even spends effort protecting work they didn't make like I'm doing here? Surely by then they spend more effort than it even takes to make the art? AI literally produces thousands of plagiaristic images in minutes. I'm bothered by the fact a single image, that took time to make, is taking down. AI plagiarists are unphased by such they don't make, surely? They'd rather spend the time harassing artists they steal from than defend their "stolen" work anyway.
And I've no idea what FA is doing, but they should not just "remove" images made of hard work on demand, especially if someone purposefully gangs up to report something, that is called bullying and harassment. There's an element of libel, defamation, etc, when it can put someone's livelihood at risk, too.
I think a better system would be if FA instead should ask for the WIPs without taking the art down, then if the user fails to respond with them in a timely fashion (or didn't upload them ahead) then FA should then warn and take down the art. What do you think?
And if you're an artist, protect your art with these tools, those rich GPU-totting AI jerks don't deserve to claim your hard work!

https://amt-lab.org/reviews/2023/11.....art-generators (soon to be released in Glaze)
https://sanative.ai (new alternative to Glaze using the revised papers, more aimed at businesses)
Hopefully the FA mods will see sense and change this system to one that respects artists who spend a long time on their art.
Cause I'm not the type who just posts art regularly due to my emphasis on detail and my disabilities that slow me down, as such it's in particularly a very ableist system at the moment. Inspect work before deleting art, FA, not the other way around!
What's other people's experience with alternatives to FA? Are they more supportive of artists and have a better anti-AI system?
It's not easy getting a following anymore thanks to people's judgement on particularly painterly work, either.
Thanks, and sorry for the vent.
I don't deserve this crap, and I'm not in the best of health either. I wish plagiaristic AI was never invented/existed and people had more respect for those who spend ages creating the work that they can easily take for granted.

FA restored my art + how to protect your art from AI
General | Posted 3 years agoLooks like FA restored my art they removed that got false-flagged as AI, fortunately.
Though in case this happens on other sites or to anyone else, it's may be a good idea to show WIPs ahead of time instead of before.
Being a hobbyist though I just never thought to do that, because usually pros do it to show they're no scammers, etc. Now that false-flagging of e.g. AI is an issue, it's worth to share WIPs and it'll also help us as artists engage more with audiences and post more frequently to compete with plagiaristic AI spam.
I kind of wonder how people are identifying stuff like AI, I know detectors like Optic's AI or Not has been broken due to most likely the false-flagging the site has. Though Optic's detector seems to say something is AI at different resolutions even though it is still better than Illuminarty it is a digital manipulation detector rather than an AI detector. Though it's pretty easy to identify certain AI models out there by eye as they tend to have a certain uncanny valley look to them that looks like a combine of stolen industrial art mixed with furry art for example. But in the end people aren't spotting AI by eye but rather AI models and in turn certain "art styles" that AI model is based off. This isn't very good and if something looks AI you should always ask for WIPs as AI is only going to steal more and more and be indistinguishable. We can only protect our future works from these sampler-based AIs (though we can also reupload old works in place with anti-AI ones on certain sites).
Which brings me to Glaze. Glaze is anti-AI software that works very well in preventing AI technology stealing your art style, edges, design, and some extent, shapes. It works by breaking the "feature space" process called entraining which is when the AI network "fits" and thus "stores" features from your artwork. Recently they had an update that makes the protection more subtle, it adds a special watermark so your art becomes practically unstealable by modern AIs. It is free, at the time of posting you need either Mac or Windows, there is now a faster GPU-based version for Windows:
https://glaze.cs.uchicago.edu/downloads.html
Hopefully this will usher a new future where artists aren't accused of AI and can protect our art from unethical AIs like Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, eDiff-I, etc.

Not sure what to do (need help, very upset/depressed)
General | Posted 3 years agoI got 1-day suspended recently, accused that these two pieces are "AI" despite contrary evidence and witnesses:
https://www.deviantart.com/inafoxy/.....ight-966267736
https://www.deviantart.com/inafoxy/.....-You-899830058
These two images were removed from FA, plus the NSFW version of the first one.
Like the moth one was made before the Stable Diffusion shite AI plagiarists use was even coded:
https://api.github.com/repos/CompVi.....able-diffusion (see "created_at": "2022-08-10T14:36:44Z")
Kudos to Womp for pointing that out. The moth one was made in 2021 and even now no AIs resemble my art.
My friend got accused of the same thing on Facebook. Professional artists are being accused, even traditional ones. My art nor theirs has a look that resembles any AI model out there. Literally everyone who has accused me said they can generate what I do 1:1 even but simply hasn't shown proof. It's all bullshit. AI steals composition and strokes, and my art isn't even stroke-oriented. My gradients go through LAB colour space, AI gradients go through RGB colour space. AI is 8-10-bits, my art is 16-32-bits. AI is low-res with upscale artifacts, my art is high-res with no artifacts. AI is typically high-contrast saturation with an over-exposed appearance, my most recent art is full-range colour and follows the curvature of specifically the Mike Azevedo colour technique. My art has alpha/masking as well as sketching and WIPs, AI does not. How they even discern if something is AI is beyond me, if you put a AI image into photo forensics you will quickly see my art is not remotely alike AI. Ignoring my WIPs however is the worst of it.
AI people on IB also tried tagging my whole gallery as AI to get at me, IB has taken a pro-AI stance and the whole front page is littered with AI. Those people are trolls with a delusion that artists are some kind of oppressive class just because we put the effort into our work. But artists like me are working class people who are actually trying to express themselves and are self-sacrificing. Meanwhile I don't use AI and take months a piece now, being insinuated that I use AI and have no artistic merit as you can imagine is heartbreaking for any artist who spends so much effort. To pour your heart and soul into something and then get bullied by plagiarists and accusers while plagiarists get off scot-free on other sites is awful, it's not right. I was hopeful FA would protect me, a slow artist, from AI spam but instead they're accusing me who posts genuine authentic art slowly. I feel like people are trying to push people like me who spend effort to sites where AI spam exists out of sheer envy because literally why would anyone spend so much effort to debase a single image from someone while AI plagiarists post AI-generated spam in huge volumes? I can only guard and defend single images I've made myself while AI people who spam sites don't care a single image gets removed because they didn't make it. So that leaves people like me who actually spent a lot of time on an image hit. I don't have to share or make art, and if it wasn't for artists who spend effort, AI wouldn't even exist because it "steals" from the artwork that has typically the longest time spent on it. It's used by envious plagiarists who are self-entitled in a world of ever-growing laziness.
And AI posters post 5 images of AI a day on IB/DA and they hate artists like me who spend months on each work but can't explain anything about the artistry in the image nor can the AI they use. They say artists are "outdated" and "whiny", that you "can't copyright style" while robbing us artisans of the hardest elements of our work, the laborious details. I can explain and remake everything in my images as well. My art just takes a lot of effort and thought. Having semi-photorealistic art doesn't mean you use AI, at most it means photobashing but I make my own photo-real brushes and textures ahead of time so I can reuse them. Probably some AI user is stealing my art right now laughing while on FA I am accused falsely of AI. It really is awful what's going on right now.
I sent tons of WIPs and evidence to FA and have witnesses for my art creation. I can share evidence with any who asks, and future projects I make will be recorded more thoroughly.
I sent an appeal for these warnings but like the tickets I have, FA just isn't responding.
It's been half a month since I made my first trouble tickets and when I reported and blocked the person attacking my account accusing me of AI they suspended me in just a day for my more recent art. I don't know if this troll was a sockpuppet account of a rogue mod or what but it's extremely unprofessional either way and googling their username you can clearly see they used AI sites so they're probably accusing me of AI because they hate artists and the fact there was a ban. I see their gallery was removed long ago. Especially since this person was incredibly insulting and even claimed my art could be "regenerated" on no evidence basis.
Trouble tickets and evidence ignored:
9 days ago Ticket ID #230802

16 days ago Ticket ID #230499

I noticed a lot of fine art poofing on the FA main page, leaving illustrative-oriented works on the front page. I'm not the only one being accused. May be we can form a group on the matter. It's like they (e.g. rogue mods) dislike certain styles or forms of effort. Hopefully FA gets its act together soon or it'll just go the way of SheezyArt back when everyone left because of accusing all adopts as being the mass-produce of dollmaker software.
I always report AI images when I see it as well, esp the scammers asking for commissions. Thanks to AI shit artists are constantly abused from both sides. We don't deserve that shit and I will call that out.
I don't feel safe on FA, or other sites if I'm honest. If administration is compromised and ignoring WIPs dated across the time of creation especially. I presume I'm on my last warning now as well but I must inform people in case I post something here and just get banned.
And you'd think they'd at least read and respond to disputes.
Either I'd get buried under AI spam on sites like IB/DA or you get falsely accused of being AI on FA.
It doesn't produce a very good future for artists, there is no safety net anymore thanks to goddamn AI.
I give the FA administration the benefit of the doubt if it's coincidence but something is very fishy here.
May be it's incompetence, may be it's envy, may be it's discrimination... I don't know. I just don't like bullies.
I just hope it's not the FA administration itself that's doing this.
Here are some good new anti-AI sites that accept WIP proof and aren't trigger-happy, but they're not furry-focused:
https://side7.com
https://cara.app
https://www.artgram.co
Now if only I can add FA back to this list.
I will still use DA until my gifted Pro membership runs out despite the site flooded with AI crap:
https://www.deviantart.com/inafoxy
Sorry to my 800-something watchers and those I have supported here but I will be going elsewhere if this won't be resolved as I can't rely on a site that just threatens to remove you and your art on solely unjust discretion.
Hopefully FA becomes aware of the issue and reinstates my art and if there are rogue mods they get called out.

General | Posted 3 years agoOn IB recently nearly all of my art flagged as AI, yes... Even my first wobbly line arts??!
Someone has been abusing the vote system of https://aiornot.optic.xyz/ to get back at me for using it to ruse out people who use AI to plagiarise others' work on places like DeviantArt. Prior to this my said art did not flag as "AI" on the detector. I had promoted the site in the past and these trolls have gone out of their way to trick the detector.
I have found that non-GAN "denoisers" also produce false-positives as well. So I recommend not uploading denoised or upscaled art to sites like FA.
For example, using the aforementioned AI detector, compare this free royalty-free stock image gradient with the denoised version:
https://img.freepik.com/premium-pho.....678264-850.jpg
https://i.ibb.co/02BKHXg/image-2715.png
You'll notice one detects as AI and the other not. What's different? One has an unsteady sigmoidal curve to its gamut, the other has a stable sigmoidal curve. In English? What else does this? Certain configurations of gradient maps, G'Mic and various blend modes! As I have told many people you cannot rely solely on AI detectors. You have to use AI detectors to "root out" potentials and then quiz the uploader for proof. Detecting AI with a algorithm and just outright deleting content is not the way forward to catch AI plagiarists, taking down art is always going to hurt artists who spent time on their pieces far more than AI posters who spend seconds.
On FA, recently one of my most popular pieces, "A Kind of Moth that's Drawn to You" was taken down and I was given a 1st-offence warning, it had a lot of favourites and comments. Just like it has still on DeviantArt:
https://www.deviantart.com/inafoxy/.....-You-899830058
I sent a support ticket but haven't heard anything back yet, I sent proof I made the piece:

https://ibb.co/3WpsxfM (lines)

I did not receive this negative attention until I joined the anti-AI protests on DA:
https://www.deviantart.com/inafoxy/.....rism-963180953
As you can judge by the comments, I have been under attack by a large quantity of malicious pro-AI trolls just for posting my stance on the matter and they have often hinted they'd do this as "revenge" for artists rejecting AI spam on art sites.
I am a slow artist, disabled as well, who is very focused on fine-detail and matte rendering. So as you can imagine this was quite a blow to me and my confidence as an artist. I know a lot of people don't spend nowhere near as much time as me on their work (which is respectable), but as you can imagine it's very upsetting to be accused of generating AI ages that take seconds to do so when you spend weeks to months painting each of your pieces. I don't have a lot of art so the few, heavily time-invested art I have that's taken down isn't a very nice experience and is very unfair.
I don't know if the removal is permanent or if they can reinstate it, but either way it makes me feel concerned about the stability of a future on FA as I gain more and more skill. To think that others go unpunished with undetecting AI images while an innocent person like me who tries hard gets false-flagged doesn't rub well with me. I don't charge for people to see my art and no one visits my Patreon. Despite being poor I am humble and am not self-entitled to such things, but I do think like all artists I deserve some respect. I have no reason to exploit AI or steal from others. And many images that are genuinely AI-involving get off scot-free at random discretion. I've reported AI before but the mod team often doesn't do anything about it yet my older artwork, that was made before the whole AI thing, gets taken down...
The trouble is AI primarily rips off the features from detailed/fine art, so the more I pursue fineness and detail, the more likely a growing artist who seeks that skill is to be false-flagged. Even renown industrial artists have been affected by this, for example:

I also posted here on IB:

My current state of affairs are not good irl and face many losses. Art is an escape for me from the harsher realities. I do not really want to leave FA, but I do value my safety of social permanence and belonging in an art community I feel welcome in, to escape to. I love appreciating others' art, and encouraging them, just as much as sharing my own work.
I am not certain where I am even safe anymore, DA is polluted with plagiarism, Twitter is run by a transphobic borg assimilator, and being deprecated to the level of a plagiarist deeply saddens me.
If as a community you have any recommendations to stay safe from these false-flags I'd like to hear it.
Thank you for reading.

What do you like most from art / what do you want to see?
General | Posted 3 years agoWhat do you like of my art and what do you want to see more of?
More yiff?
More kinky stuff?
More romantic stuff?
More painterly stuff?
More chibi-ish? Less?
More abstract?
Animations? Wallpapers? Different colour schemes (I know, I like purple and rainbows :P)?
I want to keep to fox/fox-like characters, by the way. I like seeing other characters but I have an incredible passion for foxes and spending long periods on my work over a steady amount of time.
