Important Info to know before commissioning me:
I am a disabled artist who deals with constant chronic pain. Some days are much tougher than others and as such, I may prioritize pieces that are smaller occasionally or take extra days off to rest. Thank you for understanding! I will make announcements if there will be significant delays. I also keep a work-speed status available at all times on my Trello so you will never be left in the dark.
I am very often foggy, confused and out of it due to several factors. Please be clear and precise as you can with any important information you send me as any missing details, details added in later or things left confusing could cause me to make a mistake. I apologize in advance if I am ever confused in correspondence, I do my best to make sure I have as much information as I can so please be patient with me if I ask for more details or for things to be better defined! I will happily fix a mistake if I am at fault but I do my very best to ensure this does not happen, please make it as easy as possible for me.

No one has permission to duplicate or replicate my art using AI models or tools nor is anyone allowed to make NFTs using my art.

- I prefer communications via toyhouse DMs or Furaffinity DMs but I will accept commissions via Discord in some circumstances. If I do add you on discord for communication please be respectful of my boundaries and do not pester me repeatedly or message me outside of my work hours. I am reachable Mon-Friday 8 AM - 1 PM EST. If I am messaged outside of these hours I very likely will not respond and I do have a life and things I do other than work, please respect this!

Payment

- Payments are up front via Paypal Invoice unless you are a regular/trusted. I will hold slots if asked (Up to 2 weeks) and do payment plans for larger commissions. (Work will not begin until it is paid off in full)

- If things fall through/you aren't able to pay/an emergency came up and you have to get a refund, it will be returned to you as long as work has not started. If work on your commission has started, I will keep 30% and return the rest to you unless the art is finished in which case I will not refund you.

For payment plans, you must give exact dates on which payments will be made and stick to them. If for some reason you are unable to make a payment on time, you must inform me of this information and we can push the date back

- Regular payments not on a payment plan must be sent within 48 hours of our correspondence. If 48 hours pass with no response and no payment, I will reopen the slot and you may be blacklisted.

- I am not required to accept every commission. I may refuse or issue a refund based on personal factors or discomfort as is my right, please do not be rude about this.

Reference Material

- You MUST provide a visual reference that has clear indications of all of your character's markings and their color regions. Please -do not- provide shaded refs or dark screenshots. If a detail you want to include is not on your ref, you MUST disclose this in our initial conversation. If I need to add in details that were not provided to me after I have started working, I will charge $10 per addition.
- I will provide 1 free change/edit in the sketch phase after which I will charge $10 per change. If the detail I missed was included in our correspondence or was missed on your ref, I will not charge for it UNLESS it was not pointed out to me the first time and I am sent back in on a finished piece.</p>
- If you do not have a visual reference of your character and must give me a text description, I will charge a $30 design fee on top of the price of your commission.
- Do not under any circumstance provide me with AI generated images. I'm happy to design a character for you and I'm sure you'd like a character made by a real person.
- I will not charge extra fees for disability/mobility aids or devices or for fat characters. This includes canes, wheelchairs etc.

Global Design TOS

- You may make my designs into personal fursuits but I DO NOT allow the commercial use of my designs. You MAY NOT sell a suit using a design you bought from me. If it was a personal suit that you now must sell, please contact me so we can talk about it. I might work with you in emergency situations if I feel the person is being genuine. I am willing to work with a fursuit maker on a collab but I've been approached several times about my designs being made into suits and have never seen it come to fruition.

- You may make changes or tweaks to my designs, provided you still credit me for the original design and that it is not unrecognizable as my design.

- Please credit me as the designer on refs when a ref is made of the design

- Trading and gifting is okay!

- You may not place your own rules on my designs, such as demanding people give them back to you if they don't want them anymore

- If character is posted on toyhou.se, please credit my toyhouse directly @ BatRage

- You may NOT delete the toyhouse page under any circumstances and NEVER sell my designs off-site. They must remain on toyhouse and if they are resold, the new owner must have a toyhouse to possess them.

OFFERING RULES:

- IF YOU DO NOT REPLY TO MY DM FOR PAYMENT WITHIN 48 HOURS I WILL BLOCK YOU AND RELIST THE ADOPT/CANCEL YOUR COMM. Just general kindness and decency is all I ask. If you aren't interested anymore, can't pay, something came up ETC PLEASE just tell me instead of ghosting me! I don't like blocking people but I will do it.

- If you ghost me in any regard or take more than 48 hours to respond I will cancel your commission (or) take the next offer unless given a reason prior (You send me a dm after receiving my payment info and tell me you will get back to me when you can, you're at work, etc... I'm a very understanding person if you simply communicate with me!)

- I will only do holds for 48 hours or less unless I have sold designs to you in the past without issue. I may make exceptions to this rule at my discretion but please do not be pushy if I say no. If I receive a down payment up front I will hold them longer than 48 hours.

- Once the defined or estimated date comes, I will message you and double check that the purchase is still happening. If you do not reply to this message within 48 hours (I will be sure I give the entire 48 hours), I will immediately relist the character

- If I get uncomfortable at any point during your hold (You ask to extend the hold past the initial date multiple times, change your mind too much, etc) I will take the hold off and relist the character.

- If character is partially paid on a payment plan, I will be more lenient about the communication time gaps. (I will only do payment plans for ONE character at a time if they are listed $70 or higher)

- I will no longer hold multiple characters for a single person for longer than 48 hours

Violating my TOS will result in you being blacklisted. You will no longer be allowed to buy or sell my designs. If you blatantly ignore this message, low-ball and/or make an offer on a character listed as flatsale you will be ignored.

Hiya, long time no journal! I'm thinking of opening a discord server for followers of my art where I'll post general wips, comm openings, comm wips and adopts earlier than anywhere else.

As I walked into work Thursday, I noticed something grey and fluffy on the cement. It was still breathing and I noticed immediately that it was some kind of baby bird. I ran back to my car and grabbed the only soft thing I had which was my sweater and I picked the baby up to see if I could spot the parents or the nest. I'm certain she's a pigeon since we have loads of them in the parking garage. I could see what was maybe a near way up high and out of reach but the baby was lethargic and barely conscious in my arms so I thought it better to call a vet or rescue sanctuary since she seemed to have fallen a really far way onto hot concrete.

I brought her into my job where me and two of my managers scoured the internet, calling every local place that deals with birds. We were given the same answer pretty much, leave it out in the parking lot and hope the parents come. After research I discovered many vets have no resources or experience for baby pigeons and will suggest euthanasia even in cases where the baby could live.

The other problem is I'm 100% sure the mall poisons our pigeons. I've seen horrible things happen to them which I've already called about MULTIPLE times and the mall Staff's solution would probably be to leave her in a dumpster.

So, being the idiot I am I decided I would take responsibility for the bird. I worked my 8 hour closing shift and checked on the baby every now and then to make sure she was okay and then took her home and started to feed her baby bird formula. It was a struggle. Her beak wouldn't open and I had to pretty much force drops of formala into her mouth. I was scared she hadn't gotten enough but I made her a nest in a cardboard box and put a cage over top with a heat lamp to keep her warm. Yesterday when I got up she was alert and sitting up now. Around noon when I cooed to her she began peeping excitedly and flapping her wings. When I fed her this time I used a plastic bag with a hole in it. It took her a bit to get it but she ate willingly and with excitement. By last night she was nothing like the panting scrap I'd found on the pavement.

I'm writing this as a log for mostly myself but also as an update for everyone. I'm calling the pigeon Penny since I found her on the pavement 😂
I've taken next week off from work for personal things anyway so the timing couldn't be more right I suppose. I estimate Penny to be about 10-13 days old judging by her feather growth. I hope I can save her. Idk if I should release her with the pigeons near my house or if I should bring her to the reservoir but i guess I'll decide when the time comes.

I just bought my books for the semester and have sent emails like a MADMAN but.. I have next week off, get to spend time with my boyfriend AND I just found out last night that my roommate's offer on a house went through so I'll be moving in with her to CT in about 2 months :D
