Help choosing contact lenses
General | Posted 10 years agoI'm working on a bat/vampire prosthetic http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16306725/ , I was suggested to use contact lenses with it. I think the ones that look more like a bat eyes would be the black sclera, but I can't afford (nor wear xD) those. Which one would you choose from this list? http://i.imgur.com/xqH6Zmf.jpg

I can't find nibs in my city nor import them(well, technically I can, but I've been told that I will have to do a 5 hours line one time for paperwork and again to pick them up if I got the permission). I use to change them before they wear off, as soon as the rubbing begins to annoy me. I guess I will have to use the old ones until they wear off. I had the same problem with my former genius tablet and I 'solved it' by buying another genius just for the nib, it was cheap at that time, but with wacom that's not an option :P
I might visit Europe this year, I hope I can find nibs there.

Just enrolled to an FX course
General | Posted 11 years agoI've just enrolled to this course http://escuelafx.com/fx-primer-nivel-curso.html , it starts at march 2015. They teach to make negative molds, make up, sculpting, latex prosthetics, teeth, aerography, resine eyes...
I want to learn that stuff since I was a child and I watched Movie Magic series, I just happened to forget it until now :P. I don't know how it will come up, I tried to take an illustration course once but I left because I never had ideas about what to draw at class (I would literally look at the wall's cracks trying to find forms ). So I guess I will probably ask for mask ideas here when the time comes :P
There is a real size raptor at the school entrance :D

General | Posted 12 years agoCan you recomend me a program for screen recording? And a video editor for speeding? Once I used Camtasia, but the quality wasn't good and the resulting file was too big.
