What's Going On
Posted 4 months agoYesterday evening, my grandfather passed away in the hospital. He'd been suffering for around two months after a botched heart surgery, something which has caused my family an immense amount of grief.
Please understand that I need some space after this, and that I won't be active for at least a few weeks.

Commissions Cancelled Indefinitely
Posted 4 months agoIt hurts me to say this, but I'm no longer interested in doing commissions. There's too much stress involved for me, and it's just not worth the money anymore.
All commissions that I haven't already started on are hereby cancelled.

Posted 3 years agoNovember Vacation
Posted 3 years agoHey gamers. This'll just be a small status update; I'm going to be travelling out of the country between October 31st and November 14th. Drawing progress will be slowed down during that time, if not shut off entirely, but if I can get any good opportunities to work, then I'll try and take advantage of them. I've been busy preparing for this trip, which has caused my art output to slow already. But if I'm lucky, I'll feel rejuvenated by the time I come back so I can work on more drawings.
To those who have commissions outstanding, I thank you for your patience, and ask you to remain patient going into next month. The orbs will come back eventually.

Munica in a Video Game?
Posted 4 years agoHey, gamers. This journal's going to be pretty different than what I would usually post, but a friend of mine was part of a team making a submission for the GMTK Game Jam 2021, and their game actually features my moth girl as one of the playable characters! (The game has no fetish content whatsoever, so don't expect her to be puffing up.) She's not an exact match for the design I gave her, but I'm still really hyped to see her popping up in an actual video game. Go and support the creators here on itch.io:
https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2021/rate/1078998
The entire thing was made in a span of only around 48 hours, so it's not yet fully-fledged, but the developers plan to polish the game up post-submission. Either way, I hope all of you enjoy this fun little surprise.
The friend who managed to put Munica in the game; go show him some love, he makes great 3D sculpts!

Also, aside from the moth, you might be lucky enough to encounter a certain mollusk while you're playing the game...

Original Designs/Characters
Posted 4 years agoI've been thinking about possibly branching out, and doing more original art as opposed to fan art. I would still be drawing Pokémon a lot, of course, but I would also be putting out more content involving characters of my own invention. I decided to set up a straw poll to see if this is something anyone following me would really be interested in.
https://strawpoll.com/5abza5raj
If there is indeed an interest in this, then maybe I could even start to blow up a few of my own designs in the future.

So... 500 Watchers
Posted 4 years agoIt's funny. In some ways, my life has barely changed in the past year-and-a-half or so, and in other ways, I've become almost a completely different person. The fact that I'm even typing out something like this is incredible; when I first started out on this website, I didn't know where I was going to end up. But here I am, looking at a milestone of five-hundred watchers, and let me just say, thank you to everyone who's helped me get here.
I know a lot of people say stuff like this whenever they reach X followers or whatever, but it really is crazy to think that I've come so far in this relatively short span of time. For those of you who aren't aware of my history on FurAffinity, I started as nothing more than the author of a couple of silly Pokémon inflation stories. At that time I was timid, doubtful of myself, I literally felt sick whenever I would post a submission, out of fear that it would be received poorly. But those fears are almost completely gone now; I may stress and angst occasionally over the quality of my art, but I can truly say that I've become more confident in myself than I've ever been before. And I wouldn't be able to say that without the love and support from all you fine folks.
Now, onto some pandemic talk, it's still a blatant, over-inflated elephant in the middle of the room. I only began posting drawings around the time lockdowns began, and from then until now I haven't spent more than an hour per day away from my house. It's miserable, honestly, being anchored to the same place for so long, and I've had to fight against many depressive bouts in order to stay afloat. I know that countless others have suffered in much the same way; there are aspects of real life that I miss very dearly, and I wish this nightmare could end just as much as anyone else. As of this journal writing, I have yet to receive any form of vaccination against Covid-19. I don't know what's going to happen when I do start to receive my shots, but I hope that I can continue creating content no matter what the results are.
Lastly, I want to say that I'd like to interact more with some of the people who watch me. I've had trouble acting on this desire, but I figured the 500 milestone would be a good time to take that step. In this instance, I invite you to ask me any questions you may have had in the comments for this journal. Questions asking about personal details will be ignored or deleted, of course, but I do want to become a bit more outgoing. After a full year of quarantine, I'm pretty dang tired of feeling like some sort of hermit.
And again, thank all of you for taking an interest in my work. I still don't know how I did it, ehehe.

Commissions Open
Posted 4 years agoIn case I wasn't clear enough about this before, commissions are open once again. My mood has been improved for a while now, and I want to get back into drawing for other people.
See this post for more information on how I handle comms:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40458798/
If you're a capable artist yourself, I'm also open to doing trades.

Small Update
Posted 4 years agoI'm doing better now. The past week or so has been very rough, but I'll be returning to art very soon.
I want to ask those of you who might be interested; should I lower the prices for my commissions in the future? I have a hard time telling how much my art is really worth. I'll be looking to reopen them hopefully in a week or two.

Drawing Commissions - Let's Try This Again
Posted 4 years agoKofi...?
Posted 5 years agoA friend suggested I open up something to make some money on the side.
https://ko-fi.com/incidental
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not struggling to get by, I don't have any sort of terminal illness. I just figured maybe some people would be willing to spare a buck. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to, of course. I'm never going to put a paywall in front of garden-variety fetish art. I'm still unsure about how this whole thing will turn out anyways, especially since I'm still not currently interested in taking commissions for the time being.
I've been taking sort of a break from drawing for the past few days, so I don't have anything ready to post. Hopefully I can get myself to work on something again soon.
