Flood Over
Posted 8 years agoThere, done. Now for the other gallery. ._.
Uhm...art flood, maybe?
Posted 8 years agoI'm still thinking about how I'm gonna do it, but just in case I decide to just cram it all in on one evening, here's your warning. I've got at least a dozen images of the flammie that I've not posted that I've been meaning to post, and the way I usually post things has 2-3 days in between each submission to keep from flooding peoples' notices. But I'm not about to lock myself into a full month worth of posting art of Incog. :U
So again, just a heads up. Most likely it'll all be done at once just to get it over with.

Posted 9 years agoI don't do this often...or at all, really, but I did want to try and bring this guy some attention. Right now he's doing a special involving his character Lucy here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20189156/
Pretty flexible character! Hit her up if you're interested in lewding her in a commission.

Time's up (regarding last journal)
Posted 9 years agoWell, that didn't go anywhere near as well as I anticipated it would. Oh well! I'll finish the three that submitted something before the month is up (and as for you, ShinyTotodude, I'm only picking one XD).
Taking images as writing prompts!
Posted 9 years agoHey, I made a journal!
Okay, so I've had this idea lingering about for a while now and I figure it's time to kinda push myself into just doing it instead of waiting for who knows how long, and that idea is to make use of images, submissions, and whatever have you as writing prompts? There's no particular reason why I'm doing this, it's just something I've felt like doing for a while, now.
Basically, find an image that you like, link it here, and I'll write a short story about it with respect to how I perceive the image. Let me make this clear: I AM NOT TAKING STORY REQUESTS. I will be interpreting the image you submit and craft my own little scene with it, so I apologize if I select your linked image for this and the script comes out completely different from how you envisioned it. HOWEVER, you can list a few details about the image that you might like to see translated into the story, such as the atmosphere of the setting or a character personality. What you'll be getting out of this is a simple script that's going to be anywhere from 1-4 short essays in length (that's 500-2000 words), unless I like the image enough to get carried away with my writing. So! As an example, when you link your image, your comment can look a little something like this:
"http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18253976/ (nsfw)
Surprise encounter! Krookodile and Monferno are friends, but the croc kinda likes to pick on the little guy."
As for limitations, they're as follows:
1. The image can be sexual/sensual! As a matter of fact, I'd prefer if they were. I'm trying to write things that are sensual or blatantly sexual in nature, so IF YOU WANT THE ENTRY TO BE CLEAN, THEN PLEASE SAY SO BEFORE HAND.
2. It's easier for me if the image involves more than just a single character in a pose, but these are okay.
3. I have tastes, and those tastes are laid out here: https://www.f-list.net/c/incog . (As if it isn't obvious, I won't write anything that involves 'No' kinks. Maybe's are mostly yes/fav, but using them will depend on the characters involved as well as how I perceive the image.)
Lastly, there are no prerequisites to submit something. All I ask is that you understand that I'm doing this for fun and as such will not attach a due date to any of the entries I select, so it could be a while before you see results. I'm taking 2 or 3 of these here, the rest from Inkbunny; trying to snag five in total for now. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them!

New Journal
Posted 10 years agoBeen a year, plus the old one was talking about independence day from 2014. Ehem. I don't know what to say at all other than maybe a "how's things, people?" or something...feel free to ignore this journal.
Firecrackers Day
Posted 11 years agoJust the excuse I needed to bump the old, grumpy-cog journal. Sorry, folks; this journal's nothing more than a placeholder and a waste of your time~
Alright, let's get this thing straight.
Posted 11 years agoContact list cleanups. Please stop getting butthurt over them.
I apologize now if I say anything that may come off as offensive as I'm typing this when I'm already irritated about a lot of things going on right now. But these contact list cleanups; they're for pretty much any sort of messaging client I use, which right now is just Skype and F-list. If you're removed from either of those lists, let me clarify right now that it's NOT BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE YOU. As a matter of fact, I more than likely still want to be friends/acquaintances! Just not in skype/f-list. If that's ever the reason, believe me, you'll know; I will specifically tell you that I don't want to socialize with you anymore before removing you if that's the case. I've done it before and I don't see any reason to sugar coat my dislocating myself from people I don't want to be around.
Now that that's out of the way, let's talk reasoning behind the removal. Pretty much everyone always asks "why did you remove me?" And to be honest, there's never any one reason. There can't be, at least not with me.
*It's not because "we don't talk much." I remove contacts who I speak with several times in a week, and contrarily I don't remove contacts that I only get to talk to once in a blue moon.
*It's not because "we don't get along." I'm a very patient person; if you ever drive me to the point of removing you because we don't get along, then I dare say you went out of your way to upset me.
*It's not because "we don't rp." Let me be very clear in saying that I RARELY rp on skype. It's far too limiting of a chatting client; I'm a particular roleplayer in that character names, icons, and even something as trivial as status messages influence my mood to roleplay, hence me almost never roleplaying there. So for those of you who wonder why I always seem to be dodgy on skype about roleplays: there you go. I don't like roleplaying on skype. I like roleplaying on F-list; it's my preferred roleplaying locale, for those of you who are interested.
So why do I remove people from my contacts? Like I said, there's never any one reason. During my cleanups, I go through each of my contacts, and if I have to ask "why is he in my contacts list again?" then chances are you're going to be taken off. If you're looking for a specific or in depth reason, I can't really give you one. For more examples: there's one person I don't get to talk to often, but he always, always makes me smile; he's not getting removed. There's people who try to talk to me but can't say much more than "hello;" they MIGHT get removed. There are people I almost never talk to, but they're people I developed a close relationship with in the past; they're not getting removed. They're people who talk to me in engaging conversations almost daily, but they constantly make me " :/ ". They MIGHT get removed.
I can say, though, that I've noticed that in any contact list, I don't like having too many contacts because over time, I start to feel like I'm neglecting people because I almost never initiate conversations. But other than that...there you have it: a general idea towards my reasoning behind removing contacts. Perhaps one day I'll make a journal detailing how to go about talking to me...but I don't want people to feel like they have to follow rules when talking to someone, so we'll see.
Edit: Can you be readded? Well, yes. I've done it before. But if I've removed you from my contacts before once or twice, I'm going to be very hesitant to do it again. Just sayin'.

Obligatory New Years Journal
Posted 12 years agoWoo, 2014. Insert things about how bad the previous year was *here* and talk about how much better this year will be and things I want to change *here* and all that jazz.
Oh Look, FA's Back
Posted 12 years agoAnd now I'm getting flooded with journals talking about where else people can be contacted. Sheesh, it's like, a site goes down for a bit and everyone wants to abandon ship, it seems like. x.x
Guess I needed a new journal or something. Been sick and hopelessly broke these last few weeks. How's everyone else? Excited for the holidays?

Lumiose City
Posted 12 years agoIn case some of you haven't heard of this yet, there's apparently a game breaking glitch in pokemon X/Y that corrupts your save if you save within Lumiose City. Some have told me that saving in the pokemon center within that city works, and then again some have said saving anywhere around that city can corrupt your file. I'd just play it safe and not save in or around Lumiose for now, folks. Maybe nintendo will patch it someday in the near future. Maybe.
Anyway, just spreadin' the word.

Uhm...updates?
Posted 12 years agoFive months since my last journal, so I figured i'd post another one about nothing in particular.
First and foremost, I managed to procure a copy of Fire Elmblem for the 3ds via in-store credit at Gamestop; had to get a digital copy, unfortunately, and I have to say that this game is pretty damn awesome. The last fire emblem game I liked was way back on the gameboy advance, as the others didn't have enough appeal for me to get into them for very long. This game...I dunno what it is about it, I'm just hooked. I started off on the hard difficulty on classic, and I'm not one of those pansies who reset the game and reload when your character dies, which doesn't seem like too big a deal until you get later on in the game where some maps are just downright impossible because you don't have the right troops or numbers to fight. :c For what it's worth, it's about time I came across a 3ds game that's FINALLY making me say, "I'm glad I have a 3ds." Took you long enough, Nintendo. :/
Let's see...some of you know this already, but I'm jobless, and have been for a little while now due to an untimely lay off. I still haven't secured another job, and let me tell you: being broke hurts, but being broke AND income-less just plain sucks. I'm already practically out of any funds whatsoever, and it's going to start taking its toll on the people I live with since now they have to start paying my portion of house bills and what not. Hopefully this joblessness doesn't last for much longer! I guess on the bright side, it's certainly taught me a thing or two about conserving money and spending more wisely. I didn't think I could last so long with only a few groceries, so when I actually do get a job, I'll probably actually start having a little bit of spending money...we'll see. Oh, and in regards to the house...it's gonna be let go in the near future. I'm not about to be homeless, however.
A couple more things, the first being my last two submissions. I'm actually a wee bit bothered by something regarding the two of them: no comments. Not one. Even way back when my arting actually WAS shit, I got comments, but now two submissions in a row, I've gotten nothing. No, I'm not asking you people who actually read these journals to go and comment on them, or on any of my submissions for that matter, it's just something I notice and it's got me wondering what's the deal. Was something wrong with them? Did I just happen to submit two images in a row that didn't interest anyone? I dunno, thoughts? Granted, the last submission wasn't even something I drew; twas a reline and color, but still: nothing?
Finally, something people will probably actually care about reading: requests. Think I'll do like last time (which was about a year ago, hah hah): up to three? We'll see. I'm not taking them now, I'm just putting it out there that I may be doing a handful soonish.

Regarding messengers!
Posted 13 years agoThough mostly to get rid of the previous not-so-happy journal, it has been brought to my attention over the past few weeks that not everyone I used to chat with know that I no longer use MSN. I haven't used it since...well, January, I think. It was too buggy; I could only put up with it for so long, and when it got to the point where its bugginess made me lose logs frequently (namely important conversations or rp's), I got fed up with it and started using skype. Knock on wood, but I haven't lost a single log since! And the only thing about Skype that I don't like is its lack of an offline message feature and that it's easier to forget that you have a status message set already.
So yes, for those of you who don't know, I don't use MSN anymore!

So, about my previous journal~
Posted 13 years agoJust a recap:
"But now things should be getting better for me, provided the BS has actually passed like I hope it has. If so...well gee, I'm finally going to be living comfortable for a lil while after over half a year of financial starvation. So that's something to look forward to, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before more BS comes knocking at my door~"
Yeah, spoke too soon. Oh well; I am neither disappoint or surprised.

Obligatory New Year's Journal
Posted 14 years agoHappy New Year, first of all.
Secondly, I have no new year's resolutions or goals, but I suppose I will try to be a bit more social or...well, lenient. I noticed that my list of contacts on messengers, for example, have dwindled to below 20, which is a lot considering I used to have nearly a hundred when you combined them all, and all because I'm constantly removing contacts for various reasons. That's probably not going to change, though.
As far as how 2011 was for me, let's see: first few months were fine. But when summer rolled around, a lot of random BS headed my way and I quite literally struggled financially. I was actually legitimately poor for over half a year. And I don't mean "I have the money to spend, but I'mma be frugal with mah moneh and not spend any" poor or "Spending money isn't the best idea right now. I really shouldn't, but I can if I really, really, REALLY wanted to" poor; I'm talking "well, no water or gas for a lil while. Might have to cut electricity too if we still have the house next month~" poor. Let me tell you: being THAT broke just sucks. A lot. :/

Yes, in that order. I just picked the three that I liked the most. Granted, even though I've ranked them in the order of preference, I won't necessarily do them in that order. Or maybe I will. We'll see. Once again, thanks peeps for the 10k pageviews, and thanks for participating~
It's been forever~
Posted 14 years agoLike I said, it could range from a few hours to a day or so. It's been two days now, and with 388 people watching me right now, 12 measly shouts should have come within a day easily. I guess people just don't read journals...like I didn't know that already. Oh well.
So yes, I'm closing off the offer now. The people who've left shouts after my 10k'th view and before this journal are the ones who qualify. To clarify, that is:
ShiftElement
Sirnight777
goldensunguru7
Sandnite
meganovav1
Lazy_Amp
Leon_Therma
SIX~~
Either put your requests here or note them to me. Gimme as many as you want, but keep in mind that I'm only picking the three that I like the most, and only one request per person if you happen to be one of the three. Thanks again peeps for over 10k views~

Well then
Posted 14 years agoFew comments, few faves few vews (aside from pageviews), and here I am offering a kiribian for 10k pageviews. Let's do this a bit differently, though~
There are twelve slots for shouts it looks like, so when I've hit 10000 views, the first 12 people to leave me a shout will qualify for a...a request. I'll ask said 12 people what it is they want and do three of them. If I don't like at last 3 of them...well, let's just hope that doesn't happen. I kinda want this done in a timely manner, so if people take forever to shout, I may just change my mind (and forever to me can vary between a few hours to a day or so).
I I don't fancy myself doing requess, but whatever.
