So much old stuff
Posted 5 years agoI've been tracking old art down left and right to attempt to have it and maybe even upload more of it in one place, but my goodness there is so much and it's so spread out. Old artsite accounts, a long tumblr post log, messy discord logs, unpublished/hidden posts... A lot of stuff. A lot of it is pretty trash, but filtering through for the stuff that isn't, oof. It's taking a ton of energy but is also really satisfying. And kinda confusing with the amount of things I don't even remember drawing but recognize my lines in.
And then there's the big not-yet-anything head world project I wanna start posting about, but it's scary putting things you really care about out in the wild.

Deciding to move the porn to another account
Posted 5 years agoIt's been 7 years since the last time I did an account upheaval but don't worry this one is smaller.
This isn't the first time I've thought about splitting off the lewd stuff from the other stuff, but in trying to get back to actually posting things I keep hesitating to post anything pornographic among the otherwise cute stuff I draw. I'm sure some are here for both, but I always worry I'm putting some people off either way.
So I'm just gonna scoot the porn off to its own account. Unsure if I'm gonna delete the lewd art currently in this gallery, but if I do it'll be back up over here:
I also have a- sizeable backlog of stuff I never posted anywhere so it'll get a fair bit of activity for a while.

Posted 7 years agoThe last while sure has been a ride.
There's been a long-ass while of me feeling notably less inclined to broadcast things. Part of that is probably growing up. Part of it is other things that are harder to quantify, but out of consideration for my future self who may want to look back, I should leave more than zero trace.
Life is ongoing. My married relationship is going great. Open relationship bounds are currently being explored. Wife and girlfriend tentatively being friends is the cutest thing ever and I hecking love both of them and sincerely hope this stays on track.
I'm starting the gender transition process? There's a phial of testosterone in my possession at the moment just waiting for me to feel 100% ready to commit to injecting it regularly. I don't think I ever officially came out as trans in any of my online journaling or art posting endeavors but I've looked back at my old posts enough to know that there were plenty of signs of it. I'm more of a guy than not.
I need to rejigger my feelings about online sharing. I want to have a record to revisit but the vulnerability of shrieking into the void is less appealing than it used to be when I was a teenager. It's a process to explore.

So since then I've gotten married to a most excellent woman and moved to the US. Green card pending, but we're optimistic. Things are actually going pree sweetly over all, but I don't really know what to say about it, so I'll leave it at that.
On a more "RIGHT NOW" note, I am excited about the announcement of Ruby/Sapphire remakes (it's the only generation of pokemon games I've never played although my TCG participation was at its highest during those days). Yesyesyes.

3) The amount of time the lack of cuddles is in effect compared to cuddles themselves being in effect

Posted 12 years agoOkay first, welcome over here, sixty-something watchers tht have so far tagged along. .o/
Second, it's just about 6am here and there's a thunderstorm. A very wet thunderstorm. I decided to go outside and check it out, and I don't think I've ever been quite this drenched before without actually submerging (not counting deliberate showers). Soaked through my jacket and splashed up my trousers.
It's kinda cool, though. The morning light's just started to show through the clouds, heavy with rain as they may be. Lightning every few seconds, loud rumbles from every direction. Rain pouring down so heavily that the entire parking lot was an inch deep puddle.
It's just about passed, now. The rumbles continue, but the flashes aren't noticeable against the increasingly lighter sky, and the clouds seem to be dispersing.
I like weather.
