So, I might just do that. I still have that card series I want to finish, might start there.

Posted 14 years agoWhat a surprisingly nifty weekend!
I got to the con around nine-thirty Saturday night after I got off work. I got to meet up with Nuri
, Razi 
and Kiasha 
, among others.
Oh and Recca
found me, which was funny. He came outside yelling "Don't you walk away from me!" then proceeded to lift me over his shoulders! I was surprised, I didn't think anyone could lift me like that. It was fun (I love it when people pick me up since it never happens)! I hung out with him a lot over the weekend, which was great. <3s! He also threw down a wicked set to which I danced my little heart out to. I probably looked the fool, but I had a great time. I also had a couple dance partners! Zin 
and Kiasha were my dance partners! yay them! It was also hilarious to watch Razi Jersey Shore fist pump at Recca!
I also got to party with a lot of pretty awesome people both Saturday (
,

, 
, 
, 
and many others!) and Sunday (
, 
, 
,

and others). Going to IHOP with over 15 people was quite the experience!
Oh and
showed up out of the blue on Sunday! I missed him and it was so awesome to see him. :)
I had fun meeting all you guys, you were great! I didn't get to party with everyone I wanted to, but having breakfast with you crazy kids! Don't worry, I remember all of you!

Business idea!
Posted 14 years agoI have had this fantastic idea and I want to put it into action pretty quickly. I don't see a lot of it (I think there might be a couple others that do this) and maybe it'll work out.
So, with that I give you
"Like New Fursuits"! It's still in the budding stages but, the idea is growing.
What I want to do is offer a service that will, for a fee, maintain your fursuit. this includes brushing, minor or full scale washing, scenting, minor repairs, con services. Prices would include shipping and handling from me to you, so nothing extra there and if you're local to me, prices would of course be cheaper.
I thought of this because I noticed that a lot of suits out there don't get the care they need most of the time. Probably because the owner is just way too busy to clean and brush them regularly. So, why not have someone else do it for ya?
What do you guys think?

I've had something of an art...release? Since I spend a lot of my time at work or wandering about, I've decided to be somewhat productive and draw. Oddly, I pumped out five pieces last week all of which came out rather well! I can't wait to be able to post them...just have to find a scanner.
I've also been playing as much DA 2 as Razi will let me...which is a lot when I'm over there. It's pretty decent! I love the dialogue and think the character is better built. I also have a huge sweet spot for Fenris (are you surprised?). That sweet male on male, Champion on Broody half action is all kinds of hot :D
This makes me think that I would probably be gay if'n I were a guy. I just like guys way too much not to be, I think. ;3c
And aside from other, more personal things, that's what is going on with me.

Seattle or Bust!
Posted 14 years agoHaha, well. Phor and I made it to Seattle more or less in one piece, the animals survived the 20-some odd drive and each other. Barely. It really was a close thing there for a while. And by the end of it, I didn't care if they were climbing all over me as long as I could see the road.
My car needs a lint brush in the worst way, but it made it, which really surprised me.
Phor, by the way, is a bad ass for driving that moving truck with the Tibby attached. He handled it like a pro even without cruise control.
But, all in all, it was a pretty good trip. Mostly flat lands once we got out of Colorado...hit a storm in Wyoming and another in Oregon...but other than that it was pretty clear. We drove by the Great Salt Lake...which really deserves the great part...that thing was huge! By the "Devil's Slide." Through what Oregon and Washington called mountains (seriously, they could have been foothills compared to the Rocky's in Colorado).
Anyways, stuff is in Seattle, Phor is house hunting, Alastir and Harley are boarded by friends and a nifty little Kitty Hotel. Not in that order.

Posted 14 years agoSo, part of my adventure today was working with a group of guys that, while cool, do not know when to quit.
They are your typical blue collar kind of guys, ragging on team members, gay chicken and jokes, talking about hot girls and pussy...normal. Until they turn it on me.
Today I was called racist...repeatedly for no obvious reason other than it was funny to the black guy calling me racist. Over and over, jokes about how I was a racist. When I asked him to do something: 'Yes'm, Mas'a, suh.' "It's because I'm black isn't it?" And at first I was like, haha...nah, I always thought you had a really good tan. But as the day wore on and these proddings didn't stop, indeed they intensified. I just lost it and had to separate myself from the group...because by the end of the day it was all five of the guys with these jokes against me (two hispanics, two white guys and the black guy). I tried to laugh it off and told them that my ex-boyfriend and my roommate were both black.
Then the jokes became about how I liked the chocolate.
*sighs*
It was overwhelming and upsetting.
Then I came home to find out that no one had fed or walked Harley since I took him out at five thirty a.m.
Lovely.
I am tired but still riled.
Oy, I just had to get that off my chest.

Phor and I ran around and did his errands and generally hung out...but in the midst of all that we went to the Hyundai dealership.
We decided to role play our way into a test drive, telling the guy that Phor was a guy trying to talk his doubting girlfriend (me, haha) into letting him buy the Hyundai Genesis. Gotta say, we did a pretty convincing job! And it was fun. Also, that car is sick! Wicked fast, sweet turbo, nice sound system. The seats alone are nearly worth the money. It was so hard to say no to it!
Later on he, Arc and I went to Red Robyn's and they sneakily got the wait staff to sing to me. Don't know how they did it since I was there the whole time, but they did. It was a good time though. :)
So thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes!

So Devin and I flew out to San Jose on Tuesday for a little pre-FC California action. We hung out with his buddy Kris who is hilarious. Kris took us to Fry's and Weird Stuff (links for my geeky friends http://www.weirdstuff.com/) the first day. That night apparently Devin and I were so fried that we slept through a few Earthquakes.
We had a bunch of amazing things to do the next day, but ended up just really drying around in the convertible which was pretty BA. We saw the world's largest hedge (http://wikimapia.org/15289237/The-Giant-Hedge), and drove around Santa Cruz. We saw, from a distance, the amusement park where they filmed The Lost Boys (http://blog.moviefone.com/2010/09/2.....the-lost-boys/). Kind of awesome! Love that movie. He also took us to the beach! But first we wandered through this awesome park to see the Natural Bridge...which was really more of a natural arch, but that's okay (http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=541). While we were there we climbed up to look in the Tide Pools and tease the anemones. I even walked on oysters! When I couldn't climb up a particularly difficult ridge we decided to strip to our skivvies and run into the ocean! Cause that's how we roll. It was really a lot of fun.
The next day was sad and happy times, we parted from the ever amusing Kris and hooked up with FC! Hellz yeah! Partied that first night with Carver, Razi, Val and Trip. I got to see a lot of the Seattle furs I met at RMFC and meet a whole bunch of BAMFs from the Seattle/Canada area.
It was really quite the experience going to this huge con for the first time. I drank way too much Saturday night and was supported by the gentleman, Rev. Ratspeed. That was fun! Haha. I finally got to meet all the people Phor tells me about, it was pretty great.
Oh, the dance competition, that was all kinds of cool. I got to give mad props to the kids who go up there and do it. I couldn't! I think Doryuu should have placed, but oh well. The dances were a lot of fun too, I rather enjoyed the dub-step they played Saturday night.
Gosh, there are just so many stories and fun times! I was really surprised by the serious lack of drama, it was AWESOME! Haha.

It was really quite the experience going to this huge con for the first time. I drank way too much Saturday night and was supported by the gentleman, Rev. Ratspeed. That was fun! Haha. I finally got to meet all the people Phor tells me about, it was pretty great.
Oh, the dance competition, that was all kinds of cool. I got to give mad props to the kids who go up there and do it. I couldn't! I think Doryuu should have placed, but oh well. The dances were a lot of fun too, I rather enjoyed the dub-step they played Saturday night.
Gosh, there are just so many stories and fun times! I was really surprised by the serious lack of drama, it was AWESOME! Haha.

Posted 15 years agoHad a pretty spiffy week/weekend. I didn't have to spend my OJI alone for which I am incredibly grateful. Hopefully I get released on Wednesday.
I got to work on some art and upload a mess load of stuff that I hadn't gotten to yet. I'm really very proud of Passionate Embrace and Don't be Gentle, I think they came out rather well. I have a couple gift arts in the works for
blacktiggress and 
westly which I am happily sketching out.
I also got to hang out with the boys last night which was just a blast. Love those guys.
Also! Got FC sorta figured out. That's just a huge relief. Probably gonna room with Val and Devin and do my best to keep up with Phor...I'm going to need some new running shoes haha. I'm really excited about this trip.
