Secondly, things are shifting around again for me, as they are wont to do in this era, and I will be closing commission slots again for a little while as of Sunday the 1st. I don't intend to keep them closed for terribly long, but I need to focus on some other matters, and to do some general practice and work on pieces of my own. Things are wild all over as the world has turned inside-out, but I genuinely hope you are well. It's dragging on longer than we would like, but it is important to hold on to the lights in the dark, and we can weather this storm together.

I was preparing to re-open active commissions and general art earlier in the year, but... Well, I was hit with some of the fall-out and have been making an overhaul to my general plans going forward. The up-side is that I have been given an opportunity to redouble my efforts to focus on my art and other associated projects. I have a number of things I am working on, which I can elaborate on more once they are closer to complete.

As part of all of this, I am officially open for commissions once again (I have been a derp and forgot to change my status notifier), but will be keeping the active commissions low initially so I can be certain I am working through pieces smoothly. Once I have things moving smoothly again, I will be opening up more active slots. Do not fret, though, I will make note of any requests and keep in touch once slots open up!

Just a brief update to say I'm still here. I haven't vanished so soon after returning, but between getting married and holidays, it's been rather busy.

Whoah! What happened?

MARTY! WHAT YEAR IS IT?!


So, I have been in a long, continuous whirlwind of mayhem (thoughts and love to everyone recovering from these horrible storms). It is still not over, but I am finally able to MAKE time to create again. I have numerous plans in the works, both visual art and otherwise, so keep your eyes (or other perception organs) open. However, to get there I need to get through the next couple of months; and, to do that without imploding, I need your help.

I am opening up for kind of a rolling commission availability until the end of the year. I don't have the time to dedicate to larger pieces until late November/early December, but I can do basically everything short of fully shaded pieces.

I have a move coming up at the end of the month, and I will be powering through as much work as I am able, so lay it on me!

Hello lovelies!

This coming weekend will be my first premeditated Artist Alley setup! Woo!

As the title implies, I will be attending Anime Weekend Atlanta, and will have a few brand new prints to sell, as well as be taking a small handful of commissions while there. I will be at the Moonbows Inc. table with my lovely other-half and our mutual friend. They will have adorable prints and beautiful hand-crafted clothing to sell, respectively.

I'm not yet privy to exactly where our table will be, but we will be against one of the walls.

Hello all you lovelies,

It's been a while since I update last, and I am looking to change this. My busy season is soon coming to a close, and I will be re-opening for commissions and doing work for myself in the interim. So, keep your ocular receptors bared~

I attended my first fur con in what feels like forever a couple weeks ago and had a fantastic time re-connecting with old friends and meeting new and wonderful furs. One of my favorite artists from when I was first getting into the furry community was present, and they were every bit as wonderful a person as I had hoped they would be and then some.

Thanks to  teezee I finally worked up the nerve to take a spot in the Artist's Alley, and it was fantastic working with her and her beau. Okay it was less I worked up the nerve and more that she drug me in there, but I'm so glad she did. Everyone that came by was so supportive and complimentary. I will certainly be doing more of the same. Maybe a bit later this year. You know, just saying. More details as they become available.

Also, I accidentally the whole species, thanks to the infectuously excited  twistedspectrum, while I was there, so you can expect some adorable critters in the near future. Ehehehe tentacles.

Hello all you lovely floofies, scalies, feather..ie's, and otherwise!

So without going into too much boring detail, my job has chosen to make a few shifts I don't really agree with (or expect) this season, and we are fighting to keep everything running smoothly. No real danger there - we are awesome and all - but it's wearing me down more than I had planned on when I initially opened for commissions. Progress is being made on getting it brought back into balance, but it will just take a little time and effort.

Process - For each phase of a commission, I will send you updates to be certain you are happy with where it is going. Once a stage is accepted, I will only make minor changes to those stages. Three free large alterations are allowed overall. Beyond that, I will have to estimate rates based on what is changed and when.

Content - In general I am an open individual and difficult to offend. I will generally be open to at least discuss most subjects; however, I reserve the right to decline any commission request.

Will Not Draw - If I inform you something requested is on my Will Not Draw list, then that aspect of an image is not up for debate. I will reasonably attempt to work out potential alternatives if this should occur.

How to Do It - At present, send me a note here with relevant information (Description, references, etc.). If you do not send me what you want, it is unlikely I will make what you are expecting. Just because I'm psychic doesn't mean I can always read your mind.

I presently only accept payment via PayPal
In your payments, please note who the payment is from. Do send me a note that you paid here as well, and what your name shows as in PayPal so I know you did and I can keep records.

What not to do -

- Please do not try to RP with me in commission requests
- Do not send me your story about your character in place of concise references. I do not mind doing a first-time image of characters and will work with just a description, but please parse it down to just pertinent information or I will have to deny the request. I love reading peoples' stories, but I do not have time to extricate the relevant information when preparing for a commission.
- Don't omit necessary info in your request message. If you give me what you are expecting from a commission piece, then it will save us both time and effort along with a lot of back-and-forth.

Other - No-one is perfect, and this section is the catch-all that I may adjust this data as necessary and on a case-by-case basis in case I missed something. This is a developing process, and pricing may go up and/or down but I promise to remain respectful and polite regardless.

Things are finally settling at work a bit, so I have more time to work on pretty pictures to share with you all! The plan currently is to finish the lava dragon, make a fanci banner for the gallery here, and make a proper example piece for commissions. I will then get my commission info up and will open a few slots. It's still a busy season for me, so it will probably be only two or three depending on how involved the subject matter is. Do not fret however, there will be more in the future once busy busy season is settled.

So, I come back after being quite busy for a couple weeks with AWA plans and other such MADNESS, and I have a sudden rush of new watchers. A heartfelt "Thank You" to each of you. Srsly, love you all!

I'm working on some new pieces, but I STILL haven't ordered a scanner due to AWA and other costs sucking away my hard-earned munny, but I should be able to set aside enough for a nice, pretty one I've had my eye on. Once I get it and get scans I think are worth posting, I will once again be sharing lurvley arts with you all!

Okay! So I've been really extra busy this spring, but I will have more to show for it this time around.

I have two pieces being published in the upcoming Nobilis Essentials game book coming out in the next month or so. Jenna Moran is a real treat to work with. If you like RPG's, check it out. It's a really interesting setting with a very free-form concept system. You know you want to play the ennobled of Cup-o-Noodle Soup. Or Tuesdays.

I am currently working on the last two commissions I have to finish - I haven't forgotten you guys - and hope to get my new scanner in soon to share lots more works soon.

So, I have my first Ubuntu box. Never used Linux before, and I hate Windows with a yet-greater burning passion than I did before.

Seriously. XP install with no ethernet drivers? Really?

Sound still doesn't work, but I'll get that tomorrow. At least for now I can run basic things and get in touch with people again. I am not sure how long it will take to get Sai up-and-running again, and it looks like it will be a bit still before I can get a working scanner. I will get back on my digital commissions as quickly as possible, and once I get my traditional commissions done, I will see what I can do to get the images presentable.

So, par for the course, last Sat my computer up and locked down. I'm going to have to re-format it to get a functioning OS on it.

Plus, due to minor mis-calculations my acquisition of a working scanner is once again delayed. Joy.

In better news, I have almost all the stuff I need to get working on the first of a costume (I still haven't made my Richard one...) once I finish this set of commissions. I am planning on making progress shots which I may or may not post depending on how horribly this whole thing comes out.

With the busy time of year over, and me wanting to learn digital artings, you can expect more of these as I am able to fit them in around moving.

In other news, Monster Hunter Tri is now out and in my possession. Look for me by the name of Lime - I will undoubtedly be playing it every chance I get. I don't have a favored Server or Gate yet, but if you want to go hunting send word. I haven't even had time to kill anything more than an Aptonoth or three. :/

Other things... The volcanic eruption in Iceland is troublesome, so keep them in your thoughts or prayers (if you happen to pray to anything).

Moving is still coming up. As a certain pony said: "Moving never gets easy, but it does get more routine." Excited to go, hate the work involved.

So now that I have internet again after my roommates got our server running, I thought this as good a time as any to toss an update in here.

So I've been quiet for the most part, intermittently doing a couple art streams and a word or two to those who contact me. The season of redistributed income is slacking off a bit at last, and as such, I look to have a little more time again at last. That said, the company has informed us that we are moving to a larger city, and as such, I shall be too since I have a strong disdain for driving far after work. Thus, I will be looking at new places and work on getting things packed up. This isn't a bad move, as I've wanted a good reason to get out of this town for some time, but it will just take some work.

With what free time I have in the meantime, I will be working to catch up (at last) on all the commissions that everyone has waited so patiently for. I will speak with each of you as I can to give an update once I get to your work.

Other good news: I have a spiffy new desk that has a cool swivel tray for my tablet, and lots more desk space to work on.

I was going to do some Live Arting!! But I'm still tired from the last week, so I will plan on it later in the week - most likely Thursday. Stay tuned! More to come!

So I was planning on starting to do some live-streams now that I have a moderate grasp of digital work - That's right! I am actually doing this! There's a long ways for me to go, but it is as tangible as progress can be to your eyes. Expect digital options and goodies to pop up before too long.

Though my plans on setting up streaming sessions has been delayed a bit by getting straightened out around here, but I expect to be able to get the program in question this coming weekend! You will be able to watch me muddle around in real-time!
