I really really hate you. I bought Up last night and was pleasantly surprised to discover that there were three disks included. One of them being a digital copy you could put onto your computer via Windows Media Player or iTunes. I went through all the correct steps, not like you'd know. I spent an entire hour going through all your updates and registration processes and whatnot and finally managed to download the copy of the movie onto your lovely lovely programming.
We encountered a little problem, didn't we? We certainly did. I still don't see why it was neccessary to repeatedly say that my computer is not authorized to put Up on my iPod. There was no reason for it, and it was totally uncalled for. Sure I can watch the movie any time I want on the PS3 in the other room, but for a moment I had a twinge of happiness that I might be able to enjoy one of my favourite movies in portable form too. It became obvious after attempting to troubleshoot for an extended period of time that you enjoy thwarting my valiant efforts to prevent you from being such a fucking asshole.

General | Posted 16 years agoI doubt many of you have heard, but Marble Hornets was a film project, and a guy named Alex was in charge. His friend, simply known as 'J' online had realized Alex was starting to become paranoid and neurotic. Eventually Alex moved away and no one's heard of him since, but J has recently recovered hours upon hours of film footage recorded by him. He's been watching them in attempts to find out where Alex has gone.

A lot of people have noticed strange things in these videos and are beginning to draw their own conclusion as to what's happened to Alex. To make matters even more confusing, someone has recently made cryptic video responses to the shown footage.

Due to a weird mess-up though (the event tool is very touchy and crap) it did not post what I've got planned for tonight.
Starting at 9:00 PM EST tonight I'll be showing Season 4 of the Canadian television series Kenny VS Spenny. It's sort of like a weird comedic reality show between two guys. Each episode hosts a different competition. Some examples to look forward to in the season I'll be broadcasting tonight are

AUGUST IS 5$ CHIBI MONTH!
You heard me. Until the end of August you can request a chibi drawing of your choice, be it an original character or fan, for five dollars. Unlimited slots! Total mayhem! AAAHHH!!!
You have two options to choose from in terms of type of illustration:
-Digitally inked with smooth, clean lines
-Soft sketchy lines with simple colouring
Individual characters in either style are $5.00, each additional character will add $2.00 to the final price.
Payment is to be received via Paypal, and in USD. Please note me with your request if you're interested :3

General | Posted 16 years agoSooo, who's gonna be bored enough this evening that they're willing to watch me shit out doodles in photoshop? It's not Ustream, but with a program called procaster. It works nearly very similarly, and you do not need to be a registered user to view live broadcasters or participate in chats.

General | Posted 16 years agoHooray complaining to large corporations! Recently Future Shop has changed their debit machines. They've now got huge screens and it's practically impossible to be secretive about them now. It was pretty disconcerting so I decided to send 'em an email :D
"To whom it may concern,
Hello. I am a loyal customer at one of your Future Shop locations (****************). I shop there frequently and I've noticed that recently the debit machines have been "upgraded" to newer models. These have large LCD screens and are operated with the touch of a pen. An interesting innovation, but I personally feel uncomfortable using them. I feel I have much less security inputing my PIN number due to the large screen size, and the fact that it is nearly impossible to hide what you're doing. Even if the LCD screen can't be read from every angle, the large buttons and screen size make it easier to interpret one's button presses, and therefore easier to determine a stranger's PIN number.
I have been very satisfied with all other apects of your company, but I am starting to feel discouraged from visiting Future Shop in the future.

Their customer service rep responded in the same day, much to my surprise. They basically told me to stfu and gtfo though, pretty much ignoring all of my issues. YAY

While we understand your concern, the new debit card machines are designed in such a way that the screen can not be seen unless you are standing directly above it. Hologram imaging on the screen makes it virtually impossible to view otherwise.
The larger screen and the use of a pen were designed for people with vision and dexterity limitations and has a Canadian retailer we subscribe to the notion that all our valued customers deserve and expect the very best services we can offer.
Please be assured that your concerns will be forwarded and addressed.

Also, according to the dream I had last night, if you help yourself to free bean salad (which even had a little sign above it saying FREE) in Japan you're gonna get arrested. Also there are three foot high robots that dismember and eat dogs there, leaving their mauled bodies that are usually still alive around. I blame the pudding shots.

There's a chain of Canadian chinese restaurants called The Mandarin that's fairly popular. In lieu of the Canada Day celebrations they're serving anyone who comes in FOR FREE. I heard it'll cost them about 500k altogether, which is like... wow...
So me and mum stood in line for about an hour and a half, which honestly wasn't bad considering the line went all the way around the mini mall the place was located in.
gmann had a way tougher time at his local Mandarin. Poor fella was waiting for five freaking hours just to get a bite... :c
I hope it was worth it dear!
We also went down to the Niagara Botanical Gardens and I took plenty of lovely pictures. Expect to see them here soon :3
