I never update here. I've had art block for months. I work a lot. I have a lot of lizards. My family is breaking apart. And I'm just trying to stay positive. Sorry for being a potato. I also really just wanted the other journal gone.

Wow time sure flies. I feel like it was June just last week or something. I've been busy with work, my new car [finally got one at the end of September] and video games. Art has been slow, haven't really drawn much in the past month or so I feel like. Conflict of interest with video games and shows. I'm sure I'll get back to it.

I've also been in a big gaming mood though. So please suggest games to me. I love horror games a lot but I'm willing to try anything. Also love Nintendo, I'm getting Ultra Moon when it comes out. I've seen playthroughs of some games like Cuphead and Outlast, so sadly I have no interest in playing them myself.

So things have become a little.. complicated for me. I have my brothers engagement party coming up, I decided to go with down friends to a con the 9-11 to get away and have fun. Overall the past week I've been in a blank mood, teetering in and out of emotions and moods. Please don't ask what's wrong, I'm not looking to talk about it. Just giving a heads up that I haven't been well and might be even worse off than before. If you see vent art then don't be surprised. Just. Hope everyone else is well and happy. Peace.

I don't know why I make random journals but I do. So obviously had some activity with posting ideas and tests for my new soma who is still nameless. They are still in development so honestly don't be surprised if more changes happen. I'm tossing the idea of shoulder markings around right now.

Also, I have my Twitter up and while most of the time it's random food, memes and animals i often tweet sketches and doodles i do in my sketchbook so art wise I'm honestly more active there right now since I don't have my tablet at home and even when it was here I didn't feel like using it.

I've reverted back to my traditional artist self though I primarily just do pen sketches I sometimes do market practice and more involved things. So if you want to see random art I do that doesn't get posted here just peek over there.

Follow up to the last journal.

Big news I threw in with my latest doodle. As much as I dislike the thought of having more than one fursona I've landed myself in a predicament. I wanted to design a sabertoothed tiger because I really dig them and accidently made a character that when I looked at them I saw me. Oops.
I tooknow about 3 monthe to fully come to terms with it not being a phase of some kind and accepted it. Inferno is still my fursona, she's not being thrown out, retired, sold, etc. I just haven't been feeling like really drawing her and the saber that's still under works has been my go to.
That being said they are still very much in development. I have ideas for most of the colors, no official swatches as I haven't been on my computer, pattern is figured out, name is honestly going to be the hardest part. I have no ideas and it will be the last step in their creation probably.
If you have suggestions feel free to toss them my way. They're natural colors, several browns and cream probably, undecided accent color, leaning towards a natural pink for paws, nose, insides but it's still undecided, red hair because if I could dye my hair work prevents it I'd dye it red and they are of neutral/fluid gender so any pronouns are a OK just like with me.

The irony of the rain right now an hour before the new month begins.

I have officially been graduated for over a year now, almost been at my job for a year, my bearded dragon will have been in my care for a year next saturday. It's... so weird to think about everything that's happened in a year. My at home life has changed considerably. My brother is engaged, which still kinda blows my mind. He's always been an ass and we have some bad history but he's mellowed and honestly I'm really happy for him and hope for the best. I'm going to be a bridesmaid I'm the wedding which is supposed to be next year. Not really looking forward to that but I'm not going to be a dick about it. My mom is currently unemployed and job hunting, luckily with a every other week pay from her old job as a leaving package deal since the company was bought out and she had been there so long. Lasts like 18 months so she has time to get a new job. She does go out and run around a bit much for everyone's taste. She's home less now then when she HAD a job. Kinda really pissed me off but I'm live.

Now I continue on and see what the next month has to offer. Might have stuff to add later but we will see.

Another month has come and gone and a bunch ofor stuff is supposed to be happening in March so I'll remain relatively inactive probably. Work has been work, Mom is currently unemployeed, I currently have no health insurance and have paperwork to do to see if I can get anything through work, tax season is here and I knowill mine are all kinds of fucked up because the person who does payroll at my job is a ass who doesn't take out appropriate taxes and still have to file them and see what happens. Still have no car, hopefully there will be progress towards that this month.

Overall my mood has been all over. I spent a week house/pet sitting and working and using a friend's car with . That was fun but now my mood has declined and im honestly feeling very low despite my normal bounce back attitude. I'm not really sure what to do and I really don't want to talk about what's wrong here but all I'll say is I'm just not feeling well mentally. I feel stuck. Something is wrong and I don't know what I'm supposed to do about it or how to handle anything. So if I see extra bothered [sad sounding journals, vent art, etc] it's just how I cope.

In lighter news the new generation in pokemon go has been making me feel a bit better and I'm going to the city tomorrow so that should improve my mood. I hope everyone else is well and enjoying the end of the month

Okay this is going to have NOTHING to do with the election or Trump or anything like this. This is going to be a journal of me going through the stuff that i went through in 2016, highlighting good things only!!

Starting off this year I was 22, living alone in my college dorm and was HELLA stressed from trying to get done. I worked hard, especially at the end and did. I managed to graduate from my first choice collwge, got my bachelor's degree, did portfolio show and moved home. Shortly after I went to NYC with a some of friends and for her birthday. It was a blast. I also got my graduation gift in this time: My sweet little beardie Papaya. She was bought almost sporadically after my mom made a comment about how if the tank was set at home she'd buy right then and there and the shop owner was like "a tank takes 10 minutes to set up if you have the stuff". Needless to say I went home with a citrus beardie that day.
Following that I got hired at my job in a nursing home, which I couldn't have picked a better time to apply as someone was quitting and my friend got a new position leaving her old one open for me to get instead of being per diem. Landed myself a weekend part-time job doing afternoons and nights with a very nice pay.
At some point in this span of time I preregistered for Otakon as this would be the first year I could attend because I wouldn't be in school. This solidified the fact I would go later in the year
All the while I was having driving lessons, getting ready to take my road test scheduled right before Otakon. I got my leopard gecko from my friends in this time she was so timid and stiff when I got her but with some nice new lights and a nice 20gal tank she was ready to rock.
June rolled around and 's birthday was there. We went to the beach to do some clamming and eat cheesecake and watermelon. It certainly was a day to remember. Even if her gift was a little late it made it haha. I also went back to Pittsburgh for my commencement ceremony! Me and my parents went and came to meet us for the ceremony! We all went out to dinner and then me and Luke went to Kennywood, which was a first for me!! It was a fucking blast! We went on a bunch of differnt things, ate corndogs, bought plush dinosaurs and enjoyed the terrifying light show.
The 4th of July was an attempt at going to a drag invasion that really resulted in a reminder of a crowding issue but it was a nice ferry ride and nive pizza and a day off work none the less with some friends. I don't quite remember when but at some point in Summer I shaved my head afte having the same hair cut for like... 5 years. It was shaved all around and only the top was left but it still didnt pass my chin. And I haven't gone back. Its been reshaved at least twice and I dont think I'll ever let it grow back out hahaha.
August was my first road teat, didn't pass sadly but Otakon followed soon after. I had a blast. The experience was unlike anything else and I enjoyed getting to run around Baltimore, play pokemin go, shop in the dealers roon with my own money and just enjoy the company of friends.
More driving lessons followed along with plenty of work. 's birthday came, went to thw movies and ikea and were horrendously late to her own surprise party because of it. But it was fun. It was so fun.
September brought the start of the snakes. I gained a cute little ball python from my friends who have a snake rack and picked fancy morphs themselves. Cinnamon, my little minna man, is a normal but his charm is something else. Sweet and loving he is perfection. The next goal point was October, we had Halloween plans and a reptile expo. Both were great. The expo resulted in a group effort loss of control. Me and 2 friends now have a shared snake named Peppercorn. On Halloween we played games, cooked foods, watched movies even if they sucked and got a kick out it. Oh and I had my second road test early that montb which i passed!! Became a licensed driver!
Somewhere in this span of time I went on some self discovery kinda stuff. I thought more about me, what was going on in my head and learned about what was wrong and what I needed to say. Discovering that I was gray-pansexual and admitting it and talking about it with my partner and friends honestly was a huge relief on me amd made me feel far more comfortable in my skin. Its nice. And I'm proud.
November was when pokemon came out which I had been waiting for and me and friends went and picked up our copies and got some pizza is celebration. Thanksgiving week was a lot of work but the pay check was pretty nice for preparing for Christmas and I got a taste of what it was like to work around the holidays. Lots of holiday shopping started then. And my parents left the country for a week so I had over most of that time and made her watch pokemon with me in the early am.
Now Christmas is around the corner and I got all of my presents all on my own this year and I have a bunch of work in the next week and then the year is over! And my birthday is right after that! A lot happened this year. Its so weird that it's almost over.
So what does next year have to offer? I honestly can't wait to find out.

Well for starters i passed my road test and got my license! And while this is all fine and dandy my driving confidence is still very shaky and I still have no car of my own. Recently my mother got into a car accident (not her fault and she was completely unharmed thank god) and her car was totalled. This is causing additional strain on me because they left the country for a week and I had to drive my dad's car which i was very uncomfortable with. I've gotten a lot better and more comfortable with it now after a few days but there are more concerns considering there are 3 people who need to go to and from work at completely different and some overlapping times and one car. I'm hoping somehow the insurance will give them the ability to replace my mom's car and then soon I'll get my own as originally intended.

The holidays are also around the corner and I've done a lotbof chirtmas shopping for quite a few people. I still have more to do, especially since my mom and brother still need tbeir gifts bought. This is the first year I actually had a job and made the money for the gifts all by myself. It makes me feel pretty good knowing I earned my money to do all of this. It also helps me guage things and see how things were having plans of certaim gifts and how much it would cost. It was a real eye opener haha.

As the holidays draw closer I'm developing a sort of mood, I'm excited but oddly getting anxious. About what I'm not quite sure. My mood has just been a bit odd lately and I'm not sure what's up. I work Christmas eve and Christmas day basically all day and I'm hoping that won't have too negative an effect on me. I also work 4-8 new years eve but all in all that's not that bad. I made sure I had off for my birthday and my anniversary so I can do what I want those days without work trying to get me. [Literally the only thing i really hate about my job. Aside from the kinda shitty people there]

I'm in an odd sort of mood recently but I'm not going to get into it. I'm hoping it'll pass and soon I'm be my normal self. Usually stuff just rolls off my back and I can keep going but right now I'm not sure if that's going to happen. Fingers crossed all will be okay.

It's October!! Sadly i dont know if I'll be able to do goretober or inktober, but I might try. I just found a fresh list on Tumblr and might try that with traditional doodles since my laptop is kinda having a hard time and my tablet wire is apparently messed up.

This year I'm very excites for Halloween since I'm actually home for it and i made sure not to have work and me and friends are having a Halloween party owo. We wanna make spooky snacks and foods and watch scary movies or Halloween themed movies that arent so spooky because someone isn't fond of scary movies so if anyone has movie or show suggestions please let me know.

I don't know if I said it before but I failed my last road test because of turning issues. Too wide. So I have another one in like 2-3 weeks on the 17th. So wish me luck. I've been driving every week multiple times to get to and from work whenever my mom is home. So I should hopefully pass this time. please my mom is also looking at a potential car right now so that'd be pretty sweet. Having a car would give me the ability to go and do stuff without relying on my family, friends or anyone else to take me places and bring me home. So I'd mors freely be able to see without ride complications. So fingers crossed.

I'm back home from my first Otakon and the last Otakon in Baltimore! I personally had a great time and really enjoyed it with my friends and .

We all cosplayed Friday even though we get there late and had wicked bad stress trying to park the huge van we were in. It was also super hot because a heat wave rolled in right before the con so being box Mettaton in a dress was the officially the hottest cosplay I've EVER done. Still fun. Got lots of pictures taken and i can't wait to see them start to surface.

Saturday was Jojo day so i was Speedwagon and in far more comfortable clothes with actual vision i could enjoy the dealers room and artist alley. Mostly the dealers room. Got a bit crazy with plushes but that's my life in a nutshell. XD I also made a paper crab in a panel.

Sunday I opted not to cosplay despite it being super easy. But it was still hot and a kigu with an afro around my head just didn't sound fun. It would've made eating at Dicks more fun though. I bought a bunch of stuff at the artist alley, prints, stickers, a pillow, etc.

Also Saturday and Sunday i caught many pomemon in pokemon go. It was so fun to catch pokemon in the city. Drowned in zubats at the convention center, psyducks abs magikarp at the harbor and was constantly mocked by an aerodactyl i couldnt find. ;m; but it was still really great. I'm Team Instinct and awkward praise and love from other people on my team because we seem to be small in number

But yes. Had a great time!!

It's been like a month and i still haven't been drawing. Maybe i need to buy myself a new laptop or something to feel less anxious about using my old one by my mom since it's kinda been through the ringer. Who knows. We'll see what happens there.

Work work work. Been working, making money. Spending money. Ha.

Got another fish, saw him in the store for like a some month before i finally caved and got him. He's another betta, white with different colored marks. He's cute and living it up in his brand new 5gal tank. totally didn't move my printer for space

I have my road test wednesday morning. And the pressure of that is finally starting to hit me which kinda sucks but you know. Can't do anything about that.

Right after that is Otakon which hopefully I'll be ready for but my work flow isn't the best but if i dont finish i have other stuff i could dig up so i won't be posting what I'll be here until i know ha. We'll see what happens.

Overall mood right now it's mixed. I was so relieved to be done with work for the week, then stressed from talking to my mom and thinking about my road test, then i just kinda got irritated and then felt nothing. Which is fun. Cause then I don't care and i hope sleep fixes it. Which it usually does. Hopefully I'll be feeling better soon because i wanted to draw but now i really don't.

jesus christ its almost july

HEY THERE EVERYONE I AM NOT DEAD. Been busy busy with working pretty much 4-5 days a week, 1 driving lesson a week and tending to my pets. Yes. PETS. I mentioned Papaya, my sweet little beardie who is steadily growing. But since the last journal I've obtained a sweet leopard gecko who is loving her life and new tank and I finally got my betta fish moved over and he's been adjusting to his new 10gal tank. All 3 are spoiled rotten, let me tell you. I bought them sooo much stuff and i still plan on getting SOOOO much XD

But yeah. Just been adjusting and finally took the time to get this old laptop set back up for drawing. I've been on a bit of an adopt kick because i have my own income and its been pretty steady and with some extra hours i've just been spoiling myself. XD;And a few people close to me. And i got my mom a fantastic birthday gift which im still really happy about haha.

So what else should i say? Well, I'm pretty sure I said somewhere I'm not attending Anthrocon. Too busy, too much, and too close to when my commencement ceremony. Oh yeah that happened too. I was in Pittsburgh a little while ago to walk for graduation so my mom wouldnt skin me. But it was nice. a day off work, a family trip, me and went to an amusement park and screamed at a laser show. What I will be doing in the future (August) is going to Otakon for the first time. All of my friends here in NY have all gone multiple times while I've never been and its a huge con and I'm going this year. It's also going to be the first con I've gone too fully self sufficient. Unless my parents give me additional fund but I'm not going to be asking for any. We'll see. I already bought my pass and have the totals I'll need written up so i can get the cash ready over the next month. I'll be cosplaying, but no suit so unless you spot suiting or just in general i dont think you'll find me unless you know me XD;

Okay, first off I made it home safe and am completely resettled into my house back in New York. Portfolio Show went well and was pretty lax. My parents took me and out to dinner to celebrate. I moved out of my dorm really quick and without any real pressure (much to my surprise) and we made good time on the car trip home.

I've been home 2 weeks today and I'm still getting used to the fact I'm not on break and not going back in like a week. Granted a LOT has happened and should make it obvious but it just feels like I'm on a long break.

While I've been home I cleaned my room to make space, did several loads of laundry, unpacked and hooked my tv and game systems back up first. Then i applied for 2 jobs, one I got an immediate interview and have been hired for. I got my uniform the other day, have a physical on Tuesday and will be then set up for scheduling. And as I said in my last journal; Driving school. I had one lesson and was driving for 45 minutes after not driving in 3- 3 1/2 years. But it was alright, just an aggressive bandaid. I have 11 more lessons.

But the most exciting news that just happened yesterday is I got my graduation present; a bearded dragon. I got a 2 month old citrus morph that I lovingly named Papaya. I'm super happy and still adjusting to the fact that Papaya is really mine and I'm not just watching him for someone else. Either way I'm very happy. ;w;

But yeah, as you can see I've been busy and that's not including events like Easter, 'so birthday, gym trips, shopping, etc. So I'm still here, just busy and haven't had the chance to hop on the computer. Even right now I'm using my phone because I don't have a place to use my laptop right now. So once I have a real schedule I might try to get on my laptop, draw, be slightly more lively. I have been on and off traditional doodles, but nothing intense.

I officially finished my classes yesterday and am now in the process of packing and getting ready for portfolio show. This means I am leisurely taking time out of my day to pack, clean and throw out stuff I find in my dorm and occasionally go to the school to work on a project a bit to make it look nice so my table is decent looking. The show is the 24, in the afternoon, which gives me plenty of time to go and work and refine what I need to.

My family will be arriving Wednesday (I think) probably in the morning or early afternoon and will give me stuff so i can finish packing. Thursday is portfolio show, so they'll be there with me then after who knows. Maybe dinner? They don't know hangs out with me Wednesday and Thursday so that will get figured out in time. Then Friday is loading up my stuff into a u-haul, getting paperwork done saying i'm officially moved out and then.. I go home with my family back to NY.

What will it be like moving back? I really don't know. Resettling will probably take a day or 2, 's birthday is that week so I'll be with her then. I know I will be learning to drive/getting my licence ASAP after getting home fearful screaming and I'm going to need to get some sort of job since I literally have 0 work experience, so probably retail work so I have a job, income, etc so i can add that to my resume so i look less... undesirable XD;

As for online stuff, I'm not sure how often I'll be around and drawing after I get back, I'd love to relax for like.. a week and jsut chill with friends and family and stuff, but we will see. Plus the resettlement and getting used to using my whole room again since I will be moving back in and such. It's a lot of "we'll see", "maybe" and "Who knows" XD

I just figured I'd give this update because now I might as well be considered an official college grad because my classes are finished and passed and I have stuff for my portfolio table sooo yeah. Updates, progress, stuff. Wooh

Also I don't know if I've ever said this but my graduation present was supposed to be a bearded dragon so I'm really going to hope that is still the case and if so, then I might have a lizard very soon *w*

More school updates yeah! I'm in my last literal few official days of my quarter, most of my projects are nearly done or very well on their way. All of the extra graduation stuff has been signed, turned in and over all taken care of. I have until Tuesday afternoon to get everything done to the point its ready to present and pass my 2 really big classes. Then I'm basically... free. Aside from doing tweaks and this and that for my portfolio show on the 24th.

The mix of emotions I've been getting is subsiding and I've been on a roll all week with my assignments and it's continuing so with pace everything will get done and I'll be ready to graduate. sadly i cant say the same for some of my friends in my class but i already tried to help them..

So while I will be super SUPER busy for these next few days, next Wednesday and Thursday (provided I'm in the mood which I'm really hoping I am) I'll be able to DRAW AGAIN!!! Granted I'll need to start packing to move out of my dorm, nothing is stopping me from doing that all of the other days I'll have free. So expect some art or something next week cause I'll have time again!!

Also I'll be able to get the 3DS digital download of Pokemon Red that I've wanted but chose not to get to prevent any distractions from my school work and finals. So I will be indulging in nostalgia too, ;w;

As a reminder to any Pittsburgh or PA furs who may have seen me at meets or know me in person, once I graduate I will be MOVING. On March 25 I am packing my stuff into a U-haul and my parents are bringing me back home to New York. If you want to see me or hang out or anything I recommend reaching out to me after Tuesday the 15 as that's my last day of class. If you don't I can't honestly say the next time I will see everyone here. There are some people I will probably try very hard to figure stuff out with, including someone who doesn't even live in PA anymore, but that's all future stuff.

I'll probably post another journal after my classes Tuesday or on Wednesday to express my feeling on finishing my classes and probably another one right before portfolio or something where I'll talk about stuff. So keep an eye open for those if you want. As for now I need to get back to work so I can paint some stuff.

Now that something good has actually happened and I've had some time to relax, eat, etc I'm doing significantly better. Not great, but I'm alright. I think now would be a good time to remind everyone I am about to graduate (in about 2-3 weeks) and my work needs to be completed by the 15th so I'm going to be super busy this next week. It's going to be a super busy/messy next 3 days, but I'll get there. And my servos for my mechanics came in and they all work so I am making good progress.

guess who is having a really SHITTY day and it just keeps getting worse as the day goes on?

i've been really stressed and my mood has been everywhere for weeks and today has just been a train wreck and if one more thing goes wrong i'm probably just going to give up on trying to do anything for the rest of the night because i can't take it

That's right, I am back in Pittsburgh for my last quarter of school! I'll be here for 3 months, until March 24-26; Not sure what day I will actually be leaving to move back to NY. Now this means I am very likely going to be very busy but we shall see since I have one day of class and a lot of time to actually work on the big projects I gotta get done in the next few months.

Now that I'm here I'll try to get back into the swing of digital art since I literally didn't turn my laptop on once the entire 3 weeks I was home. Obviously when I go home for good I'll be on it after I relax for a while and get settled etc. I may be busy with school stuff but that doesn't change the fact I spend a lot of time drawing/doodling so I will still be productive and I am still open for commissions and such if anyone wants anything. The speed I get it done may be affected but we'll just have to see.

I had a lot of fun while I was home, got to see , my friends, my family and my dumb animals. Now that I'm back in Pittsburgh I'll be harassing and the locals whenever I'm at a meet since I now live alone and I can get a little... weird if I'm alone? I lose all sense of time, I forget to eat, I sleep a lot, kinda depressed depending if anyone is messaging me and such but hopefully I'll be busy enough that I'll be okay. :D

I also might be practicing and playing around art wise since I want to give myself some goals for the new year so you guys will see some random practice things every now and again XD;

Okay so since I'm pretty much done with finals and I have some time I might as try to draw a bunch before break and there are some things I really want to draw but I'm unsure when I'll get them done. ;m; But I kinda want to draw gifts for friends, maybe ocs and friend's ocs chilling and being dumb. Gift art sort of stuff. But I will see what happens. Still got 2 days of class and I'll be pretty busy next Thursday at a portfolio show where is gonna be so I'll be like... her shadow for as long as I can mange haha. She'sleavingrightafterandI'mgoingtobereallyupset. By next Friday I'll be home in NY until January so I probably will be very very inactive since holidays and home and people stuff. Feel free to keep an eye out for me. But since this is probably the last journal before the New Year

Life update stuff time yayyyyy

It's getting close to midquarter at school, Halloween and Goretober just ended, Thanksgiving is coming and Christmas is overtaking everything as per usual.

Last weekend was visiting so I was rather busy and that's one of the reasons Goretober was finished late. But I still managed to get it all done. November will be.. well. We'll see what it becomes. Next weekend, the 12-16, two friends from home will be visiting so I'll be busy then too. Aaand from the 20-28 I believe I'll be home for Thanksgiving. I usually am very inactive while I'm home sooo just a warning on that.

As always my commissions are open for those of you who want art from me. And there are still OTAs and adopts around my gallery if you want to grab one. I might rework the YCH I made last month and make it prettier. we'll see. Other than that I got really nothing. So hope you all have a good day/night.

Soooo since I just finished Goretober which was primarily a human/humanoid OC fest from me I'm going to take some requests. just send a ref and I'll pick some to draw. I'd prefer furries since I haven't really drawn any for a while but I won't deny any kind of character. I don't know how many I'll do, but I just want some things to draw and we'll see what happens! What kind of freebie you get is completely random- it could be a sketch, a flatcolor, chibi, bust, fullbody, its all up to chance! post below!! these will be done over the next few days.
