I commissioned a pic from  semi-colon after her fantastic pic of Jake English licking his gun. Hnnngh. I have such a weird thing for potentially/literally violent characters specifically from this comic. I will be getting more pics of my demon-gal as well as my actual OC Troll being abused by characters. I'll probably also get pics of them just hanging out, so I won't look like a complete psycho. :o)

Because I'd really like my boyfriend back. Seriously, it's like I don't exist right now. He doesn't even acknowledge that I'm in bed with him. Nor does he pay any heed when I'm trying to flirt up with him. We talked for just a little bit the yesterday, but that's the extent of how much we've talked over the last week or so. This is stupid. Either Skyrim is just that goddamn important to him or I've done something truly heinous since yesterday. FUCK.

She's a sweetie!

My cat (really my best friends' cat, but he's just as much my cat) hasn't been doing too well lately. He's been more lethargic than usual, more aggressive than usual when his playmate messes with him, and he seems, well, depressed. Even worse, he's eye has been acting up. Last week, the third eyelid become extremely red and showed just a little out of the corner of his eye. It was watering up a lot, so we hoped it was allergies and it eventually went away. This morning, however, I came in to see that the third eyelid had completely closed up over his eye. It's swollen, red, and he can barely close his eye.

I'm really scared. Pazuzu's just under two years old and is an otherwise healthy cat. He's been in fights before from being outside, but has never come home with major cuts or injuries to his face. We can't afford to take him to a vet right now, so I can only hope his condition doesn't get any worse while I try to save up money for him.

I think I'm going to make some simple ribbon+bell collars to help raise money to take him to the vet. Would anyone be interested?

He's a really sweet cat that my boys rescued during one of their late night walks. I named him myself and was the first person to feed him. I can't have pets of my own in my house, so he's the closest I get to having one. I'm so scared for him right now and I think I'll be heartbroken if he gets worse.

Some of you may or may not know, but I love to act. Recently a lot of opportunities have arisen for voice acting, which is what I want to do after college, so I'm going to be making a lot of audition reels tonight. But, first, I need some help. See, I don't own a microphone other than the one on my computer. And it's a piece of shit. So, I need some suggestions on a headset. My local stores with electronics are Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and Kmart. I have to buy one tonight because there are deadlines tomorrow.

You can call me Abby, I'll be turning 22 in a week. I work at a terrible place and I hate the college I'm at right now. I love spending money on art, even though I only generally get to do it once a year at cons. I'm a furry, but I also have a lot of human OCs that I'd like to see drawn more. Tichan, my main sona, has her on FA under her name. I adore cosplaying, reading, writing, customizing ponies, and browsing the internet at all hours of the night. As a commissioner, I'm extremely lax with artists and love interacting with them. Livestream/Join.me is a godsend.

About Artists
I love all the artists here! It's so very hard to try and narrow down my choices for who I want to commission, but I am looking for certain things:
-ability to stream (I wanna watch it come to life and chat with you while I'm suppose to be paying attention in class, hehehe) I'd really love to find someone who could do a comic page or something like that.
-communication if streaming is not an option (I know how computers are, bleh. Seeing queue updates on a journal will satisfy me :))
-flat-color option. I dunno why, but I'm in love with flat-colors!
-clearly stated limitations. I'd be embarassed to ask someone to draw Renamon when they're not comfortable drawing copyrighted characters, same goes for maturity ratings.
-ability to work from description. I'm quite descriptive and can look up second-party reference pictures (for animals, clothing, etc) if needed. I only have 3 (4?) characters with any remotely official refs and I don't wanna spend all my birthday money on refs :(
-ability to draw clothes. Not actually a fan of au'naturale furries, not gonna lie.

I guess that's about all I have to say on the matter. Fyuu, this oughta make birthday shopping a lot easier XD

Until I'm at San Japan! I'm in the midst of cleaning my room before I go do some dress hunting and get a facial to properly prime my face for much photo taking Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I hunted down all the pieces for Tiana, which turned out to be easier than I expected, finally finished Rochelle (or so I thought, then I remembered I wanted to do a guitar too), and my Bubblehead Nurse should be finished tonight. I'll see what I can't do about getting some pictures up before I leave.

So, good news is, I've been gainfully employed! Bad news is, instead of never working, I'm ALWAYS working. In fact, this week I'm working three doubles in a row. *cries* I love the money, but that means I can no longer take on anymore commissions. At least, not until my job slows down. It's a new restaurant, so I should hopefully be back in business in a few months. I'll try to get in a few personal customs, but otherwise I'm only focusing on my job and the commissions already in my queue.

I don't know if I aspire to do more... but I know I at least aspire to do different. I'm tired of this choke hold the past has on me and I feel like I'm lashing out against it in the worst ways. I hate my daily routine and the only thing that manages to break up the drear in my life is my job and a few friends that I barely see.

I'm tired of being held down by obligations I made to people that I've violently ejected out of my life. I don't feel like I'm living my life to any extent even remotely akin to "the fullest". And maybe it's because I'm "still young," but I don't care. That's a stupid reason for me to be miserable. My coworkers are having the time of their lives and I'm sitting around, twiddling my thumbs, trying to get by on elbow grease and fake smiles.

I'm in love with a man that no one likes and I'm okay with that. I had a man before that everyone liked and I felt like he didn't care about me. The one I'm after now pays attention to me when I'm in the room and I love it. I may not get to see him often, but when I do, it's so worth it. So what if my best friend hates him to death? Only my brother spends time with me like that anymore. I feel so alone now that everyone else is dating and I'm finally single. I don't have to answer to my best friend about it, this is about what makes me happy.

I'm sick of living at home, being hounded by my mother all the time. Most of all, I hate being woken up angrily and starting my day in a bad mood. But I stay home because I feel like I have to be the voice of reason and the mediator between my parents and my brother, who all seem to the have the worst time communicating with each other.

I don't like being in college, but mostly because of where I am. I wish I had gone to TCU when I had the chance and gotten that refresh/restart that being in college should have been. I didn't realize how desperately I needed it. Now that I don't have it, I'm burnt out. Done and over. Now that I've destroyed my relationships with everyone I know that still goes there, I don't look forward to being lonely and miserable. And I try making friends on campus, I do, but I just can't make the same connections like before.

I fear I may be jaded and afraid of people hurting me, or finding out what I had did in the past and leaving me, judging me, hating me even though I'm trying to change. I have very little trust these days.

I want to take at least a year off from school, especially now that my financial aid is borked. I wanna study my own way, no more term papers or final exams or stress about grades. I wanna work at my job, try and become a trainer. I don't want to be this girl who can't lead and just follows where convenient. I want to buy my own computer and not rely on my school one. I want an apartment and a pet to take care of, want to prove I can be responsible. I don't want to live here, in this house, in this city, in this rut any longer.

I know I'm capable of something different and it's time I proved it to myself and the world.
