Recently I suggested the idea of an inflatable themed newspaper/newsletter, whimsically titled The Squeaky Times, and there was plenty of interest, so I have been undertaking to get one set up.
Trouble is, though, I don't really have enough content to fill it, so I'm wondering if anyone here would be interested in submitting something? If you have stories, photographs, artwork or anything else you would like showcased, either send me a note on here or email to squeaky_times@outlook.com. If you have information on an interesting news item or other story/article of public interest, feel free to send it the same way for consideration. Anyone offering for sale any products or services relating to the inflatable community, I'll be happy to post information on such within the newsletter.
Also, since a few people weren't keen on letting anyone know their email address, we are also creating a tumblr account alongside the email subscriptions, so if you'd rather have a place you can visit and see in private, you can go there once I have it set up (I will admit, I grew up using wordpress, so getting to grips with this different layout system is a slight issue, but I'll have it up and running soon)

Just added the latest few images to our favourites list, I do hope you guys are liking them so far, I'm trying to get a nice balanced mix up.

Also thinking, as someone pointed out recently, we kind of need a new icon/avatar/logo. I suppose it's a bit of a stretch to ask anyone here to draw us one..? *smiles sweetly* :3

Following on from the previous journal entry, looking at the amount of support the idea got over just that short time, I'd like to take this opportunity to announce the opening of the new inflatable toy and balloon newsletter, the Squeaky Times.

Would anyone be interested in signing up to a monthly newsletter, featuring user-submitted content, including photographs, artwork, stories, as well as news, information on custom toy projects and other services such as modding, balloon printing and so on, items for sale by other readers, and anything else people might want? With some whimsical name like the Squeaky Times?

Just a quick note to say I've finished posting the first few pictures to the favourites page here, some cute drawings by skilled artists, and a few nice photoshoots of pool toys.
