I just want to thank you all for your patience with me. 2024 was a very difficult year between my parents house fire and all of us working to get their house rebuilt and ready to move them back in to the current situation with my wife's mother in the hospital. You've all been here keeping the art going and helping me keep the lights on. I really appreciate each and everyone of you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am being a bit ambitious for 2025, I have Suds and Sorcery 2 in the works, along with 3 Furries Illustrated editions planned (let's see if I can pull that off!) and if I'm lucky another comic started.

My drawing Tablet has died. I have a new one on the way but until then I will be limited on working on new stuff for a bit. Shouldn't take long to get back into the swing of it once it arrives! Thank you for your patience.

Had a great time at the con and it was lovely to see everyone who stopped by my table! I unfortunately got con crud and I am slowly recovering, I'm hoping I can get back to work tomorrow. Fatigue is just kicking my butt right now.

I'm honestly not even sure how to tell you all this.
February 15th my parents house caught fire while they were both at work. The Fire department arrived and put out the flames, going inside managing to save their elderly cat BG but their kitten was killed in the fire. Even typing that makes me burst into tears. After getting some oxygen BG managed to pull through with no injuries aside from some smoke inhalation thankfully. She's doing well in her recovery.
Thankfully their neighbor had some empty space they can use as a temporary shelter. I drove down immediately the day after the fire with all the supplies and things I could think of to bring them. They have lost everything but the clothes on their backs. I spent the weekend there helping them set up and go out and get essentials so they can at least make food and get clean and have clothes.
I have been inside and the house is just, destroyed, everything is black and charred and it's surreal seeing all these rooms where we laughed and cried and had meals and holidays together just totally wreaked. Family heirlooms burnt away, windows smashed out, insulation falling in. I just, can't stop bursting into tears myself over it all.
This is so devastating, I hated having to come back to get some work done here but I have to keep my own bills paid. I will be going back and forth as much as I am able to and help with every step of the way.

Finally home from back to back cons and I am exhausted! I will be taking a couple days to rest and recover and then it's back to it!
I'm going to be starting up the next Furries Illustrated Trek edition immediately and the 2024 theme will be starting up soon swell.

I took a couple days to recover from a nasty bout of Food Poisoning I suspect I got from the airport on the journey home. Feeling better now so it's back to work again. My Etsy shop should be up and running again in a day or 2.

Safe travels to all

After 2 years of suffering and being bedridden, I got the call to come and say goodbye to my grandmother. I went and joined my family around her bed, she was unconscious and relaxed. No pain and no more suffering as she was slipping away. We each kissed her and told her we loved her and thanked her for all she did for us. We shared stories and comfort for several hours until she took her last breath. I'm glad she is at peace now, though she leaves a hole in all of us that she touched in her life.

Frankly this has been a really rough time. Loosing my cat unexpectedly 2 weeks ago, and then my grandmother, not entirely unexpected, has left me feeling empty and ragged. I am doing my best to get through hand I really appreciate everyones patience with me right now.

Here's hoping that all the sadness leads to a brighter year ahead.

I just wanted to post something here, to let everyone know I'm a bit distant at the moment.

After a terrifying weekend with my cat Minnie, where we could not get her to eat, we rushed her to the emergency vet and she worsened quickly. After agonizing over it and trying so hard to keep her stable she took a bad turn and we had to make the terrible choice to let her go peacefully and not suffer through it anymore.
I am not okay, it's going to be some time before I am okay and while I can't just stop working, I am taking my time to grieve and self care. This means it may take me longer to reply to any commission inquiries or messages.

ANE was a fantastic Con, and while I had some trouble getting there I had even more trouble trying to get back home again!
We had a major winter storm dump a bunch of snow and ice on us and, after having all my travel options cancelled on me. I had to wait out the storm, take several buses, dig my car out of being buried in snow and I am now finally back home. I am going to be taking a day or two to rest and recover and then right back to the art I promise!
Thanks to everyone who came and said Hi at my table. So nice to see everyone despite the winter weather!

Just a quick update. I am back from furrydelphia and unfortunately I have tested positive for covid. This is my second go around with it and frankly it is kicking my ass.
