Posted a month agoYay, I did it! Thirty days, thirty stories with my characters being embarrassed, naked, and furry. Or scaled or sharked. Not all of my characters are fuzzy.

Also, since I was keeping track of who won the roll to head up a story and who I threw in just for fun, here are some fun stats:
Least embarrassed: Felicity the ex-Oracle, Jordan Jasper, and Blake Brie.
These lucky three never won a roll and I never had a story where it made sense to just throw them in. They escaped embarrassment entirely. How unfair.
Most appearances: Sadie Ambert, Evaline Churchell, and Lynn the horrible gremlin
Sadie and Evaline both got one headlining story and three guest appearances. Lynn got four guest appearances without ever winning a roll. These three were just fun to throw in other people's stories.
Most popular themes, apparently: Hook, Switch, and Screen
Or at least the themes that, as of writing this journal, got the most likes out of the whole month.
So, it's been a fun sENFtember, can't wait for the next one, and now I've got to collapse and not use my brain for the rest of the week.

Last year, I meticulously planned out who would get what prompt so that I could use all of my characters. This year, blind luck will decide their fates. I will roll a random number generator to see which character will demonstrate the theme of the day.

Posted a year agoIt's been a long month, one hundred and twenty-four pages, and 35,654 words but I completed every prompt on the sENFtember 2024 list. Woo! Also, yay!

I meant to do this journal for four hundred submissions and forgot and then five hundred and forgot. I hit 550 last week and that is over five hundred so it still counts.

Just like with the 300 upload milestone, I'd like to do something fun to celebrate.
I'm going to have another short story raffle!
The rules:
*To enter leave a comment with your favorite character of mine and a brief reason why.
*You need to be watching me to be eligible, obviously.
*On Saturday the Thirteenth, I'll random select three winners.
*If I get a lot of entries, I may add additional winner slots, just for fun.
*If you win, you provide me with a story idea featuring at least one of my characters and I'll write a short 500 to 1000 word story.
*The story idea has to feature at least one of my characters but can feature yours too. Ever want one of your characters to have an awkward encounter with Jasiri at a train station, for some reason? You can ask for that, for some reason!
*That said, the subject matter has to be something I'm comfortable writing.
So make sure you're watching, comment below to enter, and start thinking of fun ideas!

Does the world really need that many pictures of sexy science squirrel shenanigans and irritated lion queen hijinxes?
Yes. Without a doubt. How dare you ask that. Hang your head in shame.
I feel like I've been getting better at uploading in a timely fashion. It was six years ago (geez) that I started uploading pictures to my gallery. Four years ago when I hit one hundred pictures. One year ago when I managed two hundred. And now two days ago when I accomplished the big 3 0 0.

I'd like to do something special for this accomplishment of accruing a lot of pictures and descriptions!
I'd like to prose up some stories for my watchers based on ideas you want to see. Nothing very long. Probably 500-1000 words. It has to feature at least one of my characters. And it would have to be subject matter I'm comfortable writing.
I'll random select some winners by next Saturday, June 4th. How many winners will depend on how many entrants.
