I noticed that I'm usually more satisfied with human designs. I've gotten a few recently and I love them to death. And I need humans-ish designs for a plot. So I'm looking for human designs.

MOSTLY LOOKING FOR:
-Fantasy themed things: angels, demons, elves etc
-Arabic, persian, desertic themed things
-Renaissance, art nouveau etc. based things
-Military-ish adopts
-Can have animals tail/ears etc, but no muzzles!

As you might have noticed, I've been on a major character purge lately. I've made a lot of major life decision in the past few months (if you're curious: I mainly decided to go back to college and go to university next year. This is major, as it means I'm leaving my current job of 5 years and moving to another city in the next few months... It's a whole change of orientation too, as I was working in a science-related field and am now going in an art field) and this affected various aspects of my life, including and for the most part my artistic muse. I'm feeling very disconnected with a lot of older plots and characters.

This brings me to the actual point of this journal: Joah. I got this dreamy a while back. He was one of the first design I got here, and I loved him to death. However, I haven't been able to work on him since May. I tried to revamp his story, I tried to give him a mate, I've tried to pair him up, I've tried to extend his story to several other eras... Bottom line is, he's not working. I feel like he's generic, and his story would fit much better with an human character then with a dreamy.

So, this is a very thought of decision I'm making by selling him. It's not a ''I need money'' thing or an airheaded decision. I'm just legit bored with the character and feel so much more inspired by a lot of other characters.

Just letting people (especially artists I commissioned) that I am current on vacations until august 4th. Replies will be delayed until then (I have a surprisingly busy schedule!)

I finally made a character index, complete with pretty headers and a small bio for each character. It's still not complete, this is only the index page and I still need to make 'extended bio' for most characters (right now the only chars with extended bios are Joah and Ioannes). Extended bios contain more informations about each chars (personality, backstories, relationships etc.) as well as all artworks I got of each chars. They are a bitch to make and take a while (and i'm lazy so...) So basically, I made the equivalent of a weekly index page...

There's still a few chars I need to add there, mostly cause I haven't been able to write their bios (small bios are hard okay). I'm also waiting on 2 customs atm so I expect this page to extend in the next few weeks.

That being said... I decided to open these chars for casual roleplay. I'm thinking more of exchanging head canons and talking over Skype, with maybe a few bits of actual role-play here and there, but nothing too stressful or committing. I'm not going to be actively looking for partners, as these characters all have standalone stories, but if you're interested in discussing OCs or possibly pairing characters I'm open to that so feel free to hit me up!

I'm gonna start posting random updates here, since I feel bad that it looks like I'm not doing anything with my chars!

Next up is making a profile for Safi (my fist seeker) and making a world page.

I'll prob change it again soon-ish when I get that batch of icons I just commissioned but for now this one is nice.

I'm the kind of person that needs to instantly connect with a character/design. Like if i don't connect within a few hours, I won't connect at all and no matter how much I love the appearance of the character, I'll never be able to think of a story/personality for it. I've got several characters that ''died in the egg'' since I simply could not connect to the initial idea.

And when I connect, I CONNECT. It's a neverending flow of ideas and plot points, and interactions with my other characters and yeah. It's great and I know it will work and i know it'll be amazing to work with this character.

I suppose this is why I'm having trouble with customs most of the time. I have vague ideas, I get a design for them, and then the design don't quite fit and I can't connect and it goes to ''waste''.

Yeah.

The usual pool of people I commission mostly specialize in quads, since most of my characters are quads, so I'm a bit lost as far as who I could commission to draw my new dreamy.

I looked around a bit and so far I find this place confusing. Iit seems like everyone's commissions are full.

So... is anyone open for commission or does anyone know any good artists that are open for commissions?
