It's been good guys
Posted 9 years agoIt's been quite an experience. Met a lot of awesome people, learned much about myself and have grown, did many things I didn't think I'd ever do before. You've all been great friends, viewers and supporters. For those i've met, best times of my life. They will always be memories I will forever cherish. You've all shown me what it is to truly be alive. Want to give a special thanks to
coolpat7 For being the start of that journey. It's just been a blast, but... I think it's time for me to leave....

To a new account! haha. Just need a fresh start from things. Need a new account for my evolving art style, start fresh and get back into the swing of things. And because some people are getting confused with my handles, thought i'd go as one generic handle as an artist. Anyway, I'll start transferring some of my stuff over to the other account after a con I will be leaving for soon. Save while you can because i'm not going to transfer everything and stuff will be removed.
As for this con i'm going to? None other than Biggest Little Furcon (Reno, NV). It's going to be wild and I can't wait to see everyone! Going to arrive sometime mid-day thursday. After this con, i'm gonna start toning down on my con going and focus back into my art and future. It's not for sure, but I do also have Midwest Furfest as another destination for the year then after that Further Confusion.
See you all soonish! ^^

Da Shibe ish back!
Posted 10 years agoand got my gallery all nice and organized. I don't care what anyone says, i'm liking this a whole lot better. Seems after the sell out the new owners are actually doing stuff for this site. I love to organize my stuff. I hate clutter. But, enough rambling, time to get back to arts!
Not much for a con report. Met great people. Surprised some friends with gifts and stuff. The con itself was a drag this year. Dunno what happened but this is the 4th year and it's been on a steady rise until now. Feels like it just tanked. If it wasn't for the people to chill with, I would have dubbed it a bust trip. Usually I come back all inspired from a con but not this time though it may be a problem on my end as well as my phone stopped working during the trip. Was hard to use twitter and contact people to organize some kind of hang out or something. Had to just get lucky and bump into people for the most part and of course this lead me to missing a few people as well. People I won't see again for a long long time. So needless to say, I got a little PCD. First time in a while because at a con i've always lived to the fullest and made sure I was time efficient. Not much went right for me at this con, but i'll get over it. Looking forward to FC to make up for some stuff. Anyway, yeah. Glad to be back ya'll.

Just a little more religious debate pt 2.
Posted 10 years agoVideo -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuO0me-pCwc
This will be the last one I post from this dude even if he decides to reply. Doesn't look like he'll have much to offer after this. Who's already reverting to religious go to phrases and avoiding some arguments i've made just to introduce new ones or just circling in general.
Youtuber 1:
See, this is exactly the kind of thing I spoke of in an earlier post of mine. You must have insulted my intelligence, or the intelligence of Christians at least 3-4 times in this long drawn out post. A: I do not have a lack of understanding and B: I am not willfully nor unwillfully ignorant. I understood the green monkeys argument.......and I still think it's a crappy comparison......ENOUGH ON GREEN MONKEYS for Pete's sake!
LOL Moving on.....I do not know you. You say you have a moral compass. Good for you. However, what your moral compass is may be completely different from other people. There are people that have no qualms about walking up and punching someone in the face (see "knockout game" on Youtube) Who has the final say on who is right if God does not exist? People often say that "if God exists, why is there so much evil in the world"? Because of man's sin, it caused our separation from God. Right now, you could say earth belongs to satan. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. I believe God still watches over those on this earth that believe in him.......but the fact remains we are separated. Would you run up to an elderly person and punch them out? Would you shoot someone because of the color of their skin or their profession? This is happening on a daily basis. Would you pay $50K just to go to Africa and kill a beautiful lion (IMO one of God's creatures) for mere sport? Who can deny Satan's impact upon the earth? And it will only get worse. Rest assuredly, there is a special place waiting for the types of people I just mentioned. They have no moral compass. If you have one, recognize it was not man made......and there is still hope for you.
In the end days God said their would be "scoffers" and blasphemers. There are more people today scoffing at the very thought of existence of a God......and more people blaspheming God (using his name in vain) and some even dressing up like him at gay parades as a joke. The special place I mentioned earlier awaits them as well. God does not want to send anyone to hell. He died on the cross so we would not have to go there. All we need to do is acknowledge that fact and realize we are FAR from perfect (confess our sins). Finally, you do realize Christians/atheists will NEVER settle this debate, right? I will tell you why: God would not speak of "faith" so much in the bible if either side could present CONCRETE physical evidence. After all, one needs faith to believe in something one cannot see, touch, taste or feel. God knew he would not be physically present on this earth with us.......so he left us with the message of faith. My question to you is....when things get so bad on this earth that you want to escape, who will you cry out to? Your fellow man? The only ones left on earth at that time will be the murderers, rapists, and blasphemers. Good luck.
Me:
and again you didn't address my other post. I'm going to assume it's because i've stumped you and your claims of prophecy and "failed logic."
Yes let's move on from that because you're still stuck on the same mistake you made in the first place. I stated a fact. your lack of understanding is evident and you continue with it. There's no denying. The posts are there for review. Also, no I wouldn't discredit the intelligence of all Christians, just most. I'm not saying atheists are more intelligent than Christians, they can be stupid too. Intelligence can be measured and can't or shouldn't be discriminated against just because of what you believe. If someone is calling you stupid simply for what you believe and without stating plausible reason for believing your are stupid, they are stupid as well. They've shown no sign of intelligence, just bias.
In accordance with the "knockout game." Fallacious argument for the right/wrong debate. Just because they have no qualms about it, doesn't change the fact of right or wrong. They know it's wrong.
"Would you pay $50K just to go to Africa and kill a beautiful lion"
Huh, that's interesting. Most refer to the bible verse that the Lord gave us dominion over all animals when it comes to topics like this. I'm surprised you came to the lions defense and have to wonder if it's because Jesus was compared to that of a lion. At any rate i'm against hunting. I believe it used to serve a purpose but no longer, other than population control, but the only species on earth that needs population control currently would be humans.
"The special place I mentioned earlier awaits them as well."
"God does not want to send anyone to hell. He died on the cross so we would not have to go there."
If God did not want to send humankind to hell, then he shouldn't have created humans in the first place, or at the very least, not created a way for evil to take root. If you believe God created all in existence, you would have to acknowledge that he created evil. You would have to acknowledge the all powerful, ever present and all knowing entity knew the devil stalked his garden in a hidden form of a snake knowing his intent and knowing Eve was going to be tricked. Instead of being flat out truthful with Adam and Eve, God spoke in a riddle so that instead of one person falling for satan's trick, they'd both be tricked. If Adam was fully aware of what the apple entailed he would have not be tricked by the sight of Eve eating the apple and being ok. The devil tricked eve's mind and God's riddle tricked Adam's eyes. That was a collaboration. If God had been straight with them and told them that the apple pertained to their spiritual death and held the knowledge that would cause their spiritual death, their faith would still have been tested but they'd be fully aware of what they were doing. God made it impossible for them to pass his test with a little white lie. Which, I believe, still counts as a sin.
Tell me, why would God create humankind knowing full well what he would do. You're so stuck on prophecies and current event's you're not looking at the big picture or asking the right questions. If God knows things before they even happen, why create them? Why create someone he knows will grow to be a criminal? Why create humankind, knowing one day He'll cause worldwide genocide and wipe them all out? Your prophecies suggest that he knew what he would be doing long before he even created existence itself. He knew he would be sending people to hell! What kind of loving God does that!?
You mention that there's a special place awaiting certain individuals! in my eyes no individual should go to hell. Not a murderer, not a thief, not a liar, homosexual, blasphemer, adulterer, no one! If all this is real, no one is at fault but the devil! We should be blaming the devil for the trick he played and it should be him that suffers! We are people that are suffering because we didn't get to choose. Adam and eve had their chance and the rest of us are born into sin.
You say God came to die for us, I don't even know why he would have to. God, an all powerful being needed to come as a man to create salvation for us when all he needs to do is will a way. Why does he need a man to create salvation? Is he only limited to that one way? That doesn't suggest an all powerful God! In fact, this seems so imperfect in fact God doesn't seem any different from the rest of us. Think about it. Did manifesting himself in the flesh make it easier or harder for people to believe in him? Before he worked with humans directly, he struck down men on the spot, people worked miracles, His voice boomed across mountains. Then, he came to earth, died and now we got to trust a book that didn't come forth until centuries later after his death, a book Jesus himself didn't write? How are we supposed to trust this book? If I wrote "You're going to be murdered" and sent it to you by mail, how would you feel? Would you take it seriously? You'd get paranoid right and possibly call the police for protection or investigation or something, right? How do you know the letter isn't in jest? How do you know if it's serious or not?
"we are FAR from perfect (confess our sins). Finally, you do realize Christians/atheists will NEVER settle this debate, right? I will tell you why: God would not speak of "faith" so much in the bible if either side could present CONCRETE physical evidence."
Anyone who states any human is perfect is a fool. We do not contest that. That would also imply the bible isn't perfect because it was crafted by humans and is apparent by it's contradictions. Of course we'll never settle this debate and only because of you and your claims without lack of evidence. What's funny is when people make good points against some of the arguments Christian's bring up, you dismiss it. you don't have an answer and revert to "you've been warned," "i'll pray for you," "you've smacked Jesus in the face," as your go to answers. You can't admit when you've been beat, you just wait until you (or life) beat yourselves (explained further down on people who backslide). Doesn't matter how much evidence that is brought forth from those opposing religion, because your argument is based on something that can't be proven, the debate will continue on.
"After all, one needs faith to believe in something one cannot see, touch, taste or feel"
Sounds like a schizophrenic has more reason claim to believe something is real than you do. Riddle me this, I've seen those who've claimed to have faith for a long time eventually walk away. Some claim knowledge, some claim a life-threatening event. Doesn't even have to be that big, some say they still believe, but they've turn back to worldly ways, stop going to church over something as little as stress. How would someone who've had such a strong faith, believe in God so heavily and claim to have heard the voice of God turn away so readily knowing what's at stake?
This will be the last one I post from this dude even if he decides to reply. Doesn't look like he'll have much to offer after this. Who's already reverting to religious go to phrases and avoiding some arguments i've made just to introduce new ones or just circling in general.

Just a little more religious debate
Posted 10 years agoThis guy I actually enjoy talking to. Came across an Atheist vs Christian video, debating about reasoning, logic and perception.
I sympathize with the atheist. Just a little bit. He did pick on a little kid who wasn't experienced enough and when a more experienced man of faith got into it he lost his stuff. he got frustrated with the dude's tactics as fallacious as they are and if he was thinking right could have batted the man of faith down for all the fallacies he was spewing. Anyway..
Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuO0me-pCwc
Youtube user 1:
"...it was not the atheist that stated "Logic does't exist".......then the creationist restated what the atheist said and the atheist quickly changed (angrily) to "Yes, that's what I said, logic doesn't PHYSICALLY exist, I've said it a dozen times now" (he added the physically part the 2nd time he said it). This part of the debate wasn't all that important besides the fact that the atheist was getting tied in knots. What was ridiculous was the "Green Monkeys On Jupiter" point. He took a totally ridiculous comparison and related it to God. These clowns would rather believe in green monkeys than God, that is for sure. It is unfortunate."
Youtuber 2 to Youtuber 1 :
"Wrong. You need to understand the context. Before they say that, the evangelical professor was asking if the Atheist could hand him a 1, which is an immaterial concept. So in context, he then says logic doesn't exist and clarify it by saying it doesn't exist, physically.
The one with the green monkeys in the core of Jupiter is justifiable. He's bringing the identical principle of the concept to the table, it matters not if the subject were green monkeys or giant mice. The point is the same. If you cannot disprove that claim, then it must exist, which is the logic behind your belief. What constitutes as a justifiable comparison to God? The premise doesn't matter, as long as the conclusion remain the same. Whether it is an apple or a fly, as long as the reasoning is the same then who cares what he compare God with?"
Me to YT1:
"1. You totally missed the point of the "green monkeys." You're discrediting yourself on intelligence.
2. I noticed you never replied to my post..."
YT1 to Me:
"1. I did not "miss the point" of the "green monkeys".........I got it entirely. This idiot is basically saying that claiming there are "green monkeys on Jupiter" is the same concept as saying there is a God. It is the type of argument these types use ALOT to deceive people. The debate is on whether there is a God or not. Not whether there are green monkeys on Jupiter. Green Monkeys would be physical beings/animals. In which case we would then argue on whether those monkeys came to be by evolution or a God. God is a spiritual being, or a force. Many for some reason tend to think of him as simply a man. While he came to earth as a man to act as the final ultimate sacrifice for our sins, God is much more. No one created God. The law of Cause/Effect does not apply to him (in fact there is scripture in the bible that addresses this). He is the Alpha and Omega. The beginning and end. This is nothing more than trying (and failing) to reduce the reality of God to comparison with Green Monkeys, Unicorns, Bigfoot, or Santa Claus. It's the same blasphemous argument that has been used for ages with these people. They use it to try to throw others with low IQ off topic. 2. What post? I've replied to several of your posts so I am sorry if I missed one. Repost and i'll be glad to answer...."
Me to YT1:
You can just scroll up a bit to find the post. It's right before the previous post. it's 144 lines.
1. Your comment suggests otherwise, and it looks like you've missed the point again. You lack in understanding. He is not making a comparison between green monkeys and God or the physical manifestation of the two. He's making a comparison on what we assume to be real based on lack of evidence. Now I see why Christians can't debate intelligently. It's not that they're being willingly ignorant. You're all misunderstanding points being made. You're thinking one thing, when the person you debate with means something else entirely. In your head you're warping the argument that makes sense to you.
2. "In which case we would then argue on whether those monkeys came to be by evolution or a God"
This is something interesting you instigated. I don't know why, but this made me think of the authenticity of Jesus being the Son of God. By title, we're all children of God, but how do you prove Jesus is legit? How do we explain "put no man before me," yet we worship a man alleged to be God himself?
"Unicorns, Bigfoot, or Santa Claus."
And i'm going to throw in "boogy man."
Santa Clause and the Boogy man... A funny comparison of God and the devil. If we created such a thing to try to keep children in line, who's to say God and the devil wasn't fabricated to keep adults in line? Remember in the part of the video "how, without God, do we distinguish right from wrong?"
a. It's troubling that one would need the Bible to tell them right from wrong because a lot of wrong can be done via biblical texts.
b. I worry that a person would need to rely on that to keep themselves in check and is actually one of the reasons why I stopped going to church. How do I know how honest these people are? I see some posts online made by Christians that are very deplorable. Christian forums, i've seen talks about homosexuals and how some wished for the death of them. These posters could be anyone, using an alias online, hiding their identity and speaking their true thoughts freely. Could be at least one person i go to church with. It's scary.
c. What if I punched that guy who asked that question in the face? Would he like it? Would he think that was wrong of me to do? How does he know that? Observance! We know the difference between right and wrong through observance. Through mistakes made and we learn from them. I'm sure there's a reason why we don't want nuclear warfare anymore and take it very, VERY seriously. Which also gives me a bit of worry with that deal with Iran. I mean i'm all about making good relations with ME countries and such, but I don't necessarily trust them yet. This is moving too far too fast, but I digress.
Throw others with low IQ off topic, hmm? Last I checked, people who attend church aren't exactly prestigious. Some would say religious folk would take advantage of low IQ people and manipulate them as well. Think about it, manipulation starts at birth. If you're born into a Bible thumping Christian family, that's where the brain wash and manipulating perception begins. It's not just the low IQ churches seek to manipulate, it's the no IQ children who haven't even developed a thought of their own that's being manipulated from day 1. Constantly planting all these things inside their head, skewing their perception of the world and teaching them to be narrow and closed-minded.
To you it would be justifiable, for the end justifies the means. For others, they fear that kind of crap. I'm not sure how religious folk would do today, with our advanced technology and such, but on multiple occasions have Christians still shown me that they can still be irrational and throw out logic and reasoning. This is, to me, reason to give me pause and not want religion to rule the mind of humankind. Looking at history Christians have done some horrible stuff, justifiable only to them. Joan of arc for example. Make me want to cry on that story. Burned at the steak for being a heretic. Why? for simply wearing men's clothing, allegedly to protect herself from guards who would try to rape her. She was under review and made a deal to wear women's clothing during her detainment but after a few days or so the guards stopped giving her women's clothing and the declared her a heretic. A woman who claimed she was called upon by God to fight in the war and turned the tide, and that's the reward that was given to her, because religion had a part in their government and law back then.
People may claim Christians are the most peaceful of religions (which I don't think is true) and the world is getting worse without it involved in government, schools, work places, etc etc. I think of it this way. IMO, I think it's western civilization that's actually keeping Christians civil. I mean, if Westboro Baptists had played a crucial role in government and laws and such, that would be a fucking mess.
Yeah the world is getting worse, differing in opinion, however slightly. Things seem to be getting worse because of parenting. Back then, women used to be a stay at home Mom, looking after the children, giving them what they need, nurturing them, teaching them and such while the father provided. These days both parents NEED to work and don't have time to bring up the child themselves. Value get neglected as the parents are always busy and tired because of workforce demand, erratic schedules and such. So because they don't get the love they need, because they aren't being taught proper morals and are going through development without a proper figure in their life. They go out and do more immoral things. Like try to have a family themselves to make up for the lack of whatever they weren't getting before. I see it a lot, in my community and church people included. Kids going out and having kids. Sometimes not even out of High school yet. Of course this leads to drop outs and some keep breeding without any job. It's the lack of parenting that's making society go downhill and it'll keep getting worse with each generation. You know how I came to this conclusion? I observed. Didn't need a book to tell me this. Though I will admit, the Bible does have family values that if we're still adhered to today, it wouldn't be so bad. So yes, the lack of religious belief has possibly played a factor in he downhill slope society has been on.
IMO if you're both working parents, you should not have a family. If you're poor and uneducated, you should not have a family. If you're still dependent on your parents (or any kind of assistance), dependent people should not have dependents. What people lack today, is fucking common sense. I know it's harsh, but if you want to fix society, you need to get to the root of the problem. You need to stop blaming it on the lack of a mythical book and fix the actual problem, yourselves first. Blaming it on the lack of the Bible is diverting from the problem.
The problem with religious folk (pt2 the pastor edition)
Posted 10 years agoThis is why you'll never see me back in church, and if you do it's not for the fellowship. Would more likely be there just for the worship (something i could just do at home).
Pastor:
Just walk away from these lost souls. . They are blind and naked and wretched?
Like abraham we are strangers in a strange land?
Pastor James Ledbetter
They call us bainwashed but they fail to realize they are the ones who are brainwashed to believe there is no Jesus by society. .. Jesus said marvel not because the world hates you because it first hated him. They mock and stalk children not because they are children but because they Love Jesus.. be blessed sister Carrie?.. Paul said its not flesh and blood we war against but principality and the forces of darkness ?
Me:
Perfect example of why others won't respect you or your opinion. You don't share in conversation or debate. You throw in and push your agenda on people and run. Childish. It's like covering your ears and singing "I can't hear you." How do you think people are going to respond to others who act that way?
We are brainwashed because we want proof? How is wanting facts that you have yet to provide being brainwashed? I don't think you fully grasp what brain washing is. It's like programming the mind so one only thinks and perceives things a certain way and trust in those core values that have been instilled into them by teaching them in specific ways and not deviating from that thought process. If one were truly brain washed, they would not be curious, or ask questions that would contradict what was taught to them.It is fallacious of you to state freedom of thought is brainwash. I don't think you fathom just how many people you actually hurt with your erred views, the potential you limit and the lives you ruin.
Remembeer there's a difference in giving an opinion you're taught, and giving an opinion through observation, which is much more plausible and more likely to be a fact. ?
Pastor:
its not opinion its fact but people like you are so repobate you dont know when you have been fooled by the devil. The devil has you so bckwards that you stalk little children and mock them because they Love Jesus...how sad...
and childish? I saw a comment you left on a puppet show video on youtube..and i quote "Aww yeee! Coming to RF are ya? Would love to hang with ya sometime wuff." all you internet gangsters are the same. One day you will face the God you rejected...what will you say mr wuff?
Hanging with a puppet? Really? And you call loving Jesus childish?
I don't debate with children.
Me:
going in order with your posts;
because I left the church I'm without principle? Another fallacious argument. I don't need a book, church, nor government to tell me who I can call sister and brother. I don't need to wait until someone conforms to my standards or beliefs to consider them an equal. I view every single person on this planet as a sister and a brother whether they believe in a God or not. they are another human being like me and deserve the same respect and freedoms I have. Also, look around the comments section on this video. Do see any posts made by myself attacking these kids? You made the same mistake Carrie tried accusing me of. Just because the uploader of this video had a plethora of negative and puerile things to say about these kids, as well as just about every poster on this video, you put me in the same boat?
LOL. This paragraph has me laughing. Can't believe what I just read from someone who considers himself an adult. You see sports fans? People that like ball games, fights and racing etc etc. You see Harry Potter fans? People into science fiction and fantasy. You see action junkies, people that love parkour and free running, high wire walking etc etc. Are you going to call them all childish for having an interest? What does myself having an interest in anthropomorphic characters have to do with my maturity? Now it's seems you misinterpret the differences of maturity and immaturity (aka acting adult and childish). My mannerism and how I talk to my friends has nothing to do with my maturity. I can express myself how I please and however i choose that makes others and myself happy. Internet gangster. laughs Also, the way I talk to my friends has nothing to do with this current conversation, it's part of the past, so why bring it up? Something completely off point and irrelevant to what we're talking about? Just saying, if this was a court room and you were a lawyer, you'd be lacking in credibility on elephantine proportions. Digging something up completely irrelevant from the past. shakes head just wow. There are no words for how completely redundant that was. shrugs moving on.
Ah, got you with fallacious reasoning again. I never said believing in Jesus was childish. Trying to put words into my mouth again. Your argumentation is weak, man. Sorry to say (not really). Further, you do know there is a person in that suit right? There are people in those costumes that I wish to hang out with and last I checked, hanging out with friends was ok.
Well it's a good thing i'm 28 then, so please, continue debating because you haven't presented one thing worth my time that isn't unworthy of mockery, which I have not done ,mind you, and you go and call me a child? Now before you go "you called me a child first." No, I didn't. I said the ACT of what you people do is childish. I didn't say your belief was childish, I didn't say wanting a relationship with God is childish, I gave you an example of the act, which you pretty much do, is childish. So if you misunderstood, here it is again. You can't get into a conversation close minded only intending to get your point across then "cover your ears and sing 'I can't hear you.'" That is what I stated.
Thank God for separation of church and state. Lord knows what a catastrophe would befall America if those of your intellect were in power. Again, i'll let Joan of Arc be an example here.
BTW, if you found me condescending and offensive in this post, just remember you condescended to me first. I still have my gloves on, man. I'm holding back. I'm trying to keep this conversation civilized and respectful. You're the one making it hard. You were the one who talked down to me and labeled me from the start, just because I don't share the same view as you. Yet, somehow you'll turn this around (fallaciously) and say you're the one being persecuted. Also, worth noting, you seemed quick to call Carrie sister and not once have you called me brother. Just more observation to make a conclusion that you don't consider others equal to you unless they share the same belief. By looking at this, one could conclude that religion is just a struggle for power and supremacy. Now how can someone who chooses who will be equal to them, call someone else who considers all equal to be reprobate (a word you misspelled)? Already judging me, assuming the role of God, like so many others.
If you'd like a little portion into who I am and my views;
I was born an Atheist, discovering God at the age of 17. I was baptized as Christian Pentecostal, though I now just say I am a believer of Jesus Christ. I denounce religion for my own personal reasons. If you use God's name as a advocate to hate or discriminate against another person in any way or form, you do not know God, you do not practice what you preach nor do you abide by God's word. How someone can dismiss a simple line, "Love they neighbor as you Love thyself," so easily when it comes to certain people is beyond me.
No matter who you are, your views, beliefs or faith, in my eyes you are my brother and sister. We may be of different colors, shapes and sizes. We may be born into different worlds but we are all born on the same earth and under one sky. In my eyes we are equal. You bleed like me, feel pain like me. You can feel happiness like me and be sad like me. You are no less a human being than I am.
Try as you might, it was not a book that died for your sins. It's not a building that died for your sins. Money, government, religion etc etc. None of it died for your sins. None of those will save you, so don't pretend me denouncing religion is an automatic ticket to hell.
Reply or not, I believe I'm done here. I don't believe you'll offer me any teaching, useful information or whatever have you that wouldn't be completely biased. Peace

The problem with religous folk
Posted 10 years agoThey are taught they are always right and not listen to anyone else. You can't reason with bigotry.
Faith:
Oh, there's hate in all kinds of people. Religious and non religious. If you're going to group religious people as hateful you might as well group all people by religion, ethnicity, etc. That's what's wrong with people. Everyone is so freaking quick to judge. A lot of people assume that because I'm fat I eat non stop. I'm vegetarian and I starve myself sometimes up to two weeks at a time. I have lost almost 70 pounds in less than a year. I'm fat because of medications and health issues but you can't tell that to people because all they see is a fat person who stuffs her face. Do you see where I'm going with this? Never judge a book by it's cover. Not all Christians are bullies! Have a good night. I think I'm done with this conversation.
Me:
Sure thing. Don't want to stress you out if you're working hard to lose weight. Negative impulses causes stress eating. I know. Used to weigh in the 240s, now i'm in the 160s.
You tell me stuff I already know. I'm not so ignorant as to group everyone into a single category because of a single individual, where they're from, color of their skin or what they believe. I was giving an example on why some feel threatened and it's not just the fact some people and their beliefs are against human rights, it's also the fact that what transpires in a religious household is actual brain-washing. Full on programming and indoctrination that a child undergoes in their psychological development, controlling every single thought they have and the way they perceive the world. You can't deny that. While some things are good, there are also some bad things about this.
Faith:
I disagree. It's not brainwashing and God's ways are the best way. I don't overeat so there's no worries on the stress eating. Again, another assumption. It's not brainwashing to teach your children right from wrong and to teach them the Bible and to have a relationship with God. You just keep putting your foot in deeper, don't you? Why don't you think before you speak. America was a more peaceful place to live in and people had better values when the country was founded on God. That you have to admit. This country has gone to Hell since they have been trying to take God out of it. As I said, I'm done with this conversation. Find someone else to argue with now. Have a great night. I will be praying for you.
Me:
This is something of a long read so get back to it later if you want.
Before you start reading, ask yourself, will you stop reading because it's too long? Will you stop reading because it's an opinion that contradicts your own? Will you stop reading because you don't trust yourself to read another man's thoughts and opinions because you might sway, even though you once gave in and believed what another man, a preacher told you. Does one have to become a preacher, for someone to listen?
If you want someone to respect your opinions, it's a two way street. You have to respect theirs as well. You can't just huff and run off from an exchange of thoughts just because they differ from yours.
don't assume i'm trying to offend you, while it seems like it, don't assume i'm trying to get you to disbelieve in God.
Now, in accordance with your comment;
Exactly. Back in the days when slavery was ok, women had little to no rights, homosexuality was a capital offense if not subject to ridiculous sentences etc etc. You've got to see it from my standpoint. We have history that shows us what life was like in the past. It wasn't all flowers and candy as you made it sound. There have been crazy stuff that happened in the name of Christianity. The Chrusade. Salem Witch Trials. Joan of Arc. All you are being taught is all the good things that have been done (with the exception of sin) and don't realize what has been done under the name of Christianity. We have history, actual factual records of events. You offer nothing but opinion and "faith," and sorry for saying so, but for a being that has something against gambling, going on faith alone seems a pretty big gamble with your life. So yes, this is an important matter, because believe it or not, Christians try to play a part in politics and try to control people's rights, their livelihood, etc etc. Also, you must not seem to understand the definition of indoctrination. You see it as you teaching your child ways of the bible and having a relationship with God because that's how you've been indoctrinated, that's how you've been taught to think and now, you're instilling it into kids before their mind can fully develop and instill those teachings into their head so they can't think for themselves, it's all they will know and all they will trust. (More on the psychology stuff later.)
The belief in God is good and all, it's religion that I have a problem with. I mean, how can you really refute Islam? They have as much truth to their religion as you do yours with your logic. So how can you say one faith or denomination is false over the other? (Of course there are obvious cults)
If you think about it, you're trusting a man to deliver you the supposed word of God, you're trusting a book made by man's hands (which was made centuries after His supposed death) So really, you're not trusting the word of God, you're trusting the word of man.
I mean centuries is a vast amount of time to study humankind and the way they act and develop, figuring out social structure and mannerisms etc etc. We have social experiments today to literally see how easily it is for one to be controlled and conform to something they'd initially think was "weird," and it didn't even take a full day.
One could use psychology to easily debunk religion. I've seen many examples, like studies of humans' social interaction. How they act within controlled settings with how everyone else acts. When I saw these tests on people (forget what the show and episode was, walked in on brother watching it) I was fascinated by it. To see how one could psychologically control a person's actions through another person's actions. It was weird, watching someone conform or be indoctrinated to act or think a certain way so easily. In the demonstration, all they needed was one person to do a specific action and a buzzer (that all could hear) to signal the person to carry out that action. At first the test subject was like "WTF" but after a few buzzes he started mimicking the actor. They introduce another person into the room and again after a few buzzes would do what the others were doing. Now after one by one the room getting fuller with people doing the same action, it took less buzzes for the new ones to quickly follow in line.
The next test was an auditorium with a "guest speaker." They had a few actors in the crowd. The test was to see if they could get the whole auditorium to applaud the guest speaker if he made no sense, whatsoever. He started out with a subject and was sounding intelligent through it, part way through he started giving these anecdotes and metaphors that was completely off subject and made no sense whatsoever. At the end of the lecture, no one was applauding. So in the second lecture, they would have the actors at the end of the lecture to applaud and this encouraged others (even though they didn't understand) to follow suit and actually felt a satisfaction from it.
Showing how easily people get goaded into acting a certain way, how are we supposed to look at those who attend church? Those two social experiments alone show what kind of psychological phenomenons take effect when in a social setting. Now if adults can be conformed so easily, what are we to think about kids being raised in a church? Taught specific things without being able to think for themselves. Controlling every single thought and action they make and essentially controlling their thoughts and actions from the git-go.
This is why I have a problem with conformity and try to retain my freedom of thought and question everything, even the bible. I look at the bible and think "how can I trust this?" It was after all written by a man's hand. How can I trust this man? It's been "rectified" and translated many times, adding "new discoveries" to it.
To me the bible is more people who put propaganda into a book to follow a certain order to try and create some their vision of a utopia. The biggest tool, and it's a very effective tool, to get people's minds swayed is fear. Even I have that "what if" lingering in the back of my head thanks to forceful attendance to church my father put me through. For a little while I believed it, then my eyes opened. I started looking at the world, how people acted, noticing what kind of attend a church, mosque, cathedral, or whatever have you and if you actually pay attention, it's just wow. I've been in a lot of religious debate. The problem with debating a person of faith? You're taught to always believe you're right, so you're close minded and tunnel visioned.People of faith tend to use fallacies in their logic to sway a person's opinion or win the argument. They'll introduce slippery slopes, strawman fallacies, etc etc. Things that do not work. For example.
I had an argument with someone about what I said before, where this catholic school (in south america i believe it was) got into someone's privacy, faculty navigating through his confiscated phone to find him kissing his BF and then they put him through a plethora of troubles until he finally committed suicide. I argued that we should not do this to kids. Call them names, tell them they're sick, they need help, keep them from seeing his friends and family didn't support him and making him feel so alone he offed himself.
This was the religious defender's retort;
"1. Individuals may kill themselves, and have killed themselves because of (x)
2. Therefore we should not (x).
This is an absurd argument, because if we replace (x) with another true cause of suicide, the argument completely falls apart:
1. Individuals may kill themselves, and have killed themselves because of (break ups with a boyfriend/girlfriend)
2. Therefore we should not (break up with a boyfriend/girlfriend).
(which is absurd)"
Stupid logic. two completely different subjects intended to sway their opinion. This only works on the ignorant and uneducated, because the 2nd example he manipulates the way one perceives the argument by making them think "this example makes sense, therefore, the first statement must make sense."
Some logic for you. Reading the "good book" doesn't make you a good person, not reading the "good book" doesn't make you a bad person. You are either good, or you're bad (excluding some situations like war). All the book was good for, was keeping the bad people in check by putting that fear of eternal punishment in them. While in a way this was some form of good that came from it, bad things also came from religion. Look at the middle east and how flawed their justice system is and how they treat homosexuals. Churches under the name of Christianity did that once upon a time. Remember Joan of Arc I mentioned earlier? She was religious and went into war because "God told her to." Granted I believe it was the opposing side that captured her, but it was the church that burned her at the stake as a heretic for wearing men's clothing while in prison. She had to wear said clothing to protect herself from the guards and when they amended that, the guards continued to give her men's clothing instead of women's after a time to convince the church she had fallen off the wagon and returned to heresy, so they burned her t the stake.
So you see, it doesn't matter which age we live in. You may THINK life back then was better, assuredly it was not, and if it was, it was only for certain people. There's always good and bad no matter what time period we're in. You just think today is worse because with technology, we can see just about everything.
Thanks for taking the time to read. Believe in God if you will, but don't speak words as truth when you can't prove it as such. Note that I'm not calling you a liar.
Faith:
It's 1;27 in the freaking morning! Go find someone else to argue with! I'm not listening to your crap anymore. You're one second away from getting cussed out and I have made men tougher than you run. BACK OFF! I'm trying to be nice but you're pissing me off now! I'm not going to give in and agree with you no matter how much you try to harass me. I'll just end up putting you in your place and go about my business. That's not what you want. I'm not as nice as I look. God said I have to love and forgive. He never said I have to be your doormat. Back off NOW!
Me:
That is why people like you have no respect and will never get respect. I thought we could have an intelligent conversation, but you're complete tunnel visioned, close minded and actually pretty rude. If "bigger men" than I have run away, it's because they are good people and don't want to show you your place. Taking advantage of laws and "white knights" so you can attack other people is pretty much cowardice and the comment shows you off as the scum you are. Hey, i'm not forcing you to sit at the computer and continue to check your messages. In fact I told you to get back to it whenever. If it's your phone that's going off, then turn it off. Simple stuff. This is why people believe religious people are complete and utter retards. The implications are evident. Good day and have a nice life in that little whole of ignorance, you're so fond of. Don't bother praying for me, i'd rather have that honor from someone who is genuine. Pray for someone who believes you're genuine, or better yet, pray for yourself.
Posted 10 years agoCongratulations to all whom this may concern. I'm very happy that the rights of the LGBT community is being recognized and America has taken a big step forward. With this, will come a lot of butt hurt, but pay you no mind to them. This is your time to shine. Blood, sweat and tears have been shed through the course of time to get to this point. It's time people start accepting others for whom they are and not whom they're made out to be (by bigots). You are people and should have the same rights as everyone else. Cheers to equality.
Big shout out to the LGBT community. A lot of work had to be done to get you to this point. As you celebrate, keep in mind those who have fought for your rights over the years, the lives that did not get to see this day. History has shown us how tragic humans can be to each other, but we can look forward to the future. To those attending Pride tomorrow, this will be a big one for you. Stay safe, play smart and have fun!
To the LGBT community, to those who have fought for equality and for those who have passed. This is in your memory. this one's for you.

BLFC 2015 Con Report
Posted 10 years agoTuesday Day -1
So some friends and I actually left a couple days early. Arrived tuesday evening and didn't really do much. Just got to our room turned on the tv and turned down from the trip.
Wednesday Day 0
Some other good friends showed up on Tuesday as well so I spent the day hanging with them. Hung out in their room playing beer pong., hung around the con space, practiced dancing and did a walmart liquor run. Got wasted on Day 0 and just had an awesome night.
Thursday Day 1
Did another liquor run for a friend because he liked this drink I made so i got him a couple bottles. Hung out in his room for a bit before we both headed out to do our thing. Here it starts being a blur for the rest of the weekend so know that events from Thursday - Saturday may not be in that order XD
Watched a bit of Pepper Coyote's concert. Hung out with some local friends that wanted to hang.
Friday Day 2
Went on the go-karts with another friend. Did the 2 person car so I could focus a bit on video. That was fun. Didn't notice the smudge on my lens until after so that was a little annoying. I also had a bit of a buzz at the time so yeah.... So much good fun. love the go-karts.
Did the dance 101 panel with momo mouse. Pretty fun stuff. Learned how to "jack" correctly. Always done it the reversed way XD
Saturday Day 3
All you regular con goers now this is the most hype day. It's pretty busy and where all the parties come full force! So much went on this day that it's such a blur I can't remember all of it.
Unfortunately did not take part in laser tag a friend had planned. A birthday party was happening for another friend so I had to be there. brought a box of liquor and omgosh, got so turnt. Playing beer pong again and just socializing as another friend blares his DJ skills. Went and raided the dance floor. We were an unstoppable force (except the part where they kicked us off stage, just hope someone got some footage of that XD) and just ruled the dance floor. Dunno how many of you know it but you can work to sobriety. It's one of the reasons I love to dance. Keeping yourself active keeps you focused and doesn't allow the alcohol to catch up to you and you just sweat to get sober up faster.
I did do the dance til dawn challenge. Been on 4 hours of sleep every single day then I go and do this where i'm up til 7am dancing and got an achievement badge for it! Also free mamosas and champagne with all you can eat breakfast buffet! After all that you need to get some food back into ya XD After the breakfast buffet went back up to sleep for only 2 hours before continuing the next day (oddly wide awake).
Sunday Day 4
This was turn down day for me. The past few days were just so hype that I was literally destroying my body XD I mostly hung out in the dealers den and watched all the fuzz butts playing volley ball, riding bikes and having fun with other recreational activities there. Bought some stuff (even though I promised myself I wouldn't)
spelunkersal had some interesting things at his table and
keovi had some fantastic original sketches that inspired so much I had to have them. Got to test out her air brushes too. Was pretty kewl but i'm so noob at it. Not used to brush strokes XD
Stayed until Dealers den was nearly closed and got a group together to go to Ijji for the most amazing sushi you'll ever have. Just so awesome. Food was amazing. Company was great and that manager, wish we didn't have to rush on him (one of our friends had a flight to catch), cause he was so awesome. Took good care of us and did a Sake bomb with us. It was my first time doing it and judging from some others it was their first time as well. Pretty interesting shit XD I finished second but only because I hesitated at the beginning (I'll get you next time noodle!). Got back to the hotel and I went up to pack first uncertain what to do. I know people wanted to hang but I wanted to spend some time with those I wasn't able to hang with yet and went to hang in their room where things kinda got a little weird. Ain't disclosing names but omgosh, I need to see them on the dance floor next time. They so crazy XD Was a kewl little hang out. Playing guitar and listening to music. Somehow it turned into an underwear/paw party (i blame the liquor). After a couple hours of hanging with them I went to hang with another friend for a bit before turning in.
Monday Departure Day
Wasn't able to say goodbye to all I wanted to. It happens though. Some leave later or earlier than others. Some don't wake right away , recuperating for the trip back home and stuff. The goodbyes I was able to give were good though. Awesome people and good friends. Can't say much for the 12 hour drive. Took some pics of scenery here and there and just browsed through my camera, watching memories of the con ^^
It was a pretty crazy con. Death to me if it gets crazier next year haha XD The first couple days were pretty much hallway hangouts, being derpy, taking pics/videos and such so that's why there wasn't too much to say on that. Overall, been a real crazy con and totally worth checking out if you haven't already. All the time I got for now. I'll see ya'll later.
-Daemon Inu-
So some friends and I actually left a couple days early.

2014-2015 Con Mashup
Posted 10 years agoA little con report mashup since I never really made report journals for them. (Even though I promised >.>) Sorry i've been neglecting my FA everybody. Here are the quick reports.
Furlandia 2014-
I dub the chill con. It's a small con where you just mostly hang out. Nothing too extreme. Good place to chill and just talk and socialize. I found it funny, however, that it was somewhat lacking in fursuiters until the fursuit parade then they just came out of nowhere then vanished as soon as it was over. My local furs and myself basically had the dance floor to ourselves. The dances weren't very big or anything but guess it was kewl cause my local furs and myself basically had the dance floor to ourselves. Just going hard and for some reason in my drunken stupor I decided to make a long wolf howl. XD
At one point in the con I felt like a douche. On one of the days I was drunk and expressed how much I appreciated the con staff to one of the con staff members and the next day he got me right as I was about to leave with my group to head out and turn up. Turned him down and felt like such an asshole ~_~
Had some tickle time with one of the locals (non-fur) Didn't think anybody could make me laugh but this guy is a massage therapist so he had an advantage =p
BLFC 2014 - O-M-Gosh What about this con can I say? It's the greatest! I mean I haven't been to MWFF or AC (yet), but this con was just fantastic. It was also dangerous for me. This con is so hype, A local fur friend and myself got messed up on Day 0 (now 1, thursday) of the con and missed the next day. At one point I thought I needed to go to the hospital. Won't go into details, will save that story for if we ever socialize and I can tell you about my wild time. A bit of advice though, when you're already full of gin, vodka and a mix of other drinks, don't go chugging a glass full of whisky. X3
While the dance floor wasn't as filled as my local cons', it was very fun. Loved the DJs with their variety of great music (thank you Midekai) and everyone that participated in the Cypher, omgosh you all were amazing and made that dance so much fun. great stuff. For those curious, here's my crappy video. A couple minutes into the video is when the Cypher (dance circle) starts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSZ.....5aubthtfxuoc0k
Met a lot of amazing people here. It had wonderful attractions. If you're a gambler, got some slots for ya. You like bowling, huge bowling center with arcade games of course. Take your drink just about anywhere with ya. GO KARTS. Omgosh I dunno if I uploaded the go kart vid. you'll just have to browse my youtube to see if I did XP. And some kind of harness machine that lifts you into the air and you can pretend you're flying XP
A lot happened for me at this con. Met great people, got some great furry merchandise, had some awesome dances, got turnt like a Mofo and a new side of me awakened at his con. This is where I truly began to break the mold and unleash the beast. Represent. Furries, the real part animals! Also, first time meeting Telephone. Amazing character.
Megaplex 2014-
First time flying. Gotta thank furries for getting me over my fear of heights. Or at least making me comfortable enough to get on a plane. It did suck a little bit because I was still nervous about flying but after you have your first flight you get over it. had my ipod and chewing gum to keep me distracted. Which some may need., Chewing gum to help the popping ears and well if it's a long trip, music is just good. Don't think it's the "motion sickness" that got to me. Think it's because my body wasn't used to the pressure. like I said it only took 1 flight. When I left the con (and this time around it was connecting flights) No problem whatsoever. Amazed at how fast my body adapted to that.
Roomed with
pawtickler and his buddy, Dannyshep (a very goofy but chill G-shep) Loved going to the pool. I think he actually spent the whole con in the pool lol.
This felt like a vacation. Was hard getting alcohol though. Stupid maps took me to 3 dead ends and I was literally running everywhere in the hot florida weather to find some. Sweated my ass off but in the end gave up and got some pizza for my room. Luckily got some alcohol later with a buddy who offered a ride. Woop!
The weather was nice. Warm and humid but it was constantly changing. One minute it's nice and hot, next it's a friggin storm and then it's just nice and cool. Again met more interesting characters. Had the awesome pleasure of running into
dingoroo and one of my favorite suiters
aurafox A lot of great suiters here. Love
Aikenwolf werewolf suit! It's just an amazing suit. Very well done and though looks fierce, hearing his voice, wanna give him all the huggles XD
Had some fun times with
ukyotane
pawtickler and
sorablue FYI
ukyotane is a pretty skilled and relentless tickler. The only thing that saved me was my resistance. Luckily i'm not hyper ticklish, but he definitely taught me some new things about myself and tickle techniques. Grade A tickler right there.
Sora took me to an awesome burger place. Just good shit. Luckily we have the same restaurant here ;3
Con was good. Wish I had taken part of the auction. Filled with regret over that because there was something I wanted that I could have gotten. Oh well.
Forget what the game was called. "Werewolves" or something like that. interesting game that plays on the psyche of other players. you got a group of people who are the villagers and a one to a few of them are wolves deepening on how big the group is. the bigger the group the more interesting. Some villagers play special roles as Seers, witches, hunter etc etc. It's an interesting game. I was a seer in the first game (as a seer ability I found out who the last werewolf was) and I could have won the game but I was impressed at how long the werewolf lasted, and I wanted to see how it turned out. The werewolf of course got me killed off by the villagers as to be expected. everyone was having a "trial" for each other but kinda left me out cause I was at the end and no one really noticed me and didn't suspect me of a werewolf until near the end. Didn't help I was wearing "werewolf" badges neither XD
2nd game I was a young werewolf, got killed off real fast though. I call species profiling! You're all specieist! X3
Rainfurrest 2014-
You know I got nothing but mad love for my local con in Seattle, WA. Haven't missed a year since I started my furry ventures and don't plan to. I was basically the photographer fore previous cons but started to shy away from that now. Still doing photos and videos here and there but by this point i'm all about turning up, socializing and attending them room parties and having extreme amounts of fun. Never miss the dance competitions. I love dancer furs! Lot of running around and trying to meet people at this con. My rideshare had a limited window so I wasn't at this con for the max amount of time so I made it count. Literally wasn't sleeping. In fact last day only slept for an hour. Stayed out late got back and started packing and slept an hour and went back out to socialize with people one more time before leaving. By then I was like a walking zombie. Just dead and out of it XD Had a lot of fun though. Met an awesome friend and hopefully we can do more hanging out someday when I move up there.
Further Confusion 2015-
OMGosh. If this is the training level to MFF and AC I can't imagine what those cons would be like. Big con. You will be doing a lot of walking around at this con. Kinda makes it hard to hang with people for an extended amount of time at a con like this. You're only real hope is to bump into a person and even then socializing is brief as they have places to go and you have places to go.
Drove up and caught a plane to San Jose, CA with an awesome local fur friend. Was a good trip. We got more closer as buds and it's kewl cause I feel we can trust each other now that we know more about each other. Showed me a side I never knew of him and it was pretty awesome. Met :icnfuzzypaws: at the airport and we all got a taxi together. hung out a bit waiting for our rooms to get ready and bumed into iconartie: into lobby. Just socialized until my roomshare was ready. Roomed with
iancorvid and
keybladeraccoon Just awesome people to hang with and ian, omgosh, such a delight. Has so much to share, you can tell he's such an outgoing person. So many experiences and stories to share not to mention some tips on every day life things. Hope to see ya again bruh.
First day was weird. 1st off, always pre-reg, at least for a big con like that. You don't want to end up waiting 4-5 horus in line like I did. I was kind of out of it, also. Didn't feel like dancing or anything, which I now regret because I see some amazing videos of my friends showing off. *shrugs* Did get a chance to meet someone that is special to me. Kinda funny too, but i'll save that for some other time.
Met more awesome people and made some good frienships. Got to try on some suits. Oh gosh, just adorable shit. love it. can't wait to get a suit myself. Eventually I did start getting turnt. Con has a great location. Everything, and I mean everything you need is in walking distance. A variety of restaurants to satisfy any taste, smoke shops, markets, liquor. Doesn't take that much time so you can hurry on back to the fun. Got me a lot of liquor and spent the rest of the con having great times.Somehow broke one of my flasks trying to open a bottle with a sealed cap. at any rate, whatever mix I had was pretty damn good and had to share it. Made everyone's evening XD
Adventure crew party was awesome. Pretty great social scene and then the paw party. So much fun, though i regret being a bit too drunk to really appreciate the moment. Next time, just a bit tipsy ;p
Thanks to
furshinku I got to meet and get a pic with
teaselbone right before having a little group session with
codyvfrost
furshinku
bigbang (whom made a deceivingly surprise visit, you little blue devil) and
lu123 Great fun. Just love all you guys and the furry fandom just proves more and more with every con I go to how amazing it is.
Anyway that's all I'll say for now. I'll keep up henceforth (I promise for real) and keep you posted on BLFC 2015.
Also got some new stuff to submit but I don't think i'll post them until after BLFC and Furlandia (which happens right after the other) so may not see anything until near the end of the month.
But oooh have I got some stuff for you. Those who follow my twitter basically know what I have in store. They also, complain that i'm showing my twitter too much love XD
Soon i'll bring the love back here as well. Soon!
Hope to see some of ya at BLFC this week. Let's have some fun!
