This will be my first year participating!
I'm going to try to be as active as I can, though I'll be putting commissions first.
But I'll be doing af stuff in my personal time so don't be surprised if you see some artfight uploads in the near future.

Posted 8 years agoHey everyone, just wanted to say sorry for the lack of updates. >.> I've been sick for the past week or so and though I'm not completely over it yet I'm going to try and continue working on some stuff to post soon! Currently I'm working on a commission for ares91 , but I also have a few other things on the backburner that I want to get done too.

Sorry for the absence
Posted 8 years agoI'm really sorry that I've been dead the past month. It certainly wasn't on purpose. I've been dealing a lot of stuff mentally the past few months and it hit me really hard in March. The stress has really gotten to me. I'm still drawing, however it's not as nearly as much as I would like to be doing. But I'm trying. Hopefully things will be picking back up to speed soon. I've been pushing myself to get back into the groove of things. Thank you all for your patience!

Updates;College and me Birthday Soon! :D
Posted 12 years agoSo yeah, as you can see I haven't been around as of late. I have absolutely nothing to post here because college started on the 5th of sept. and I've already got a decent amount of HW. I'm excited though, I'm finally starting my sophomore year of college and that means that I'm starting on my path to my BA Illustration degree! :D I'ma try and get some things on here as soon as possible, I'm just trying to get into the swing of things and figure out my schedule. Once I got that all sorted out then you can expect to see some arts! Ugh if only it didn't take me forever to just finish one picture -_- Then I cold be like insane art person here. But oh well. Hopefully I'll get to post more than just digital, since I'm going to learn quite a few things with my classes.
In other news, my birthday is soon! Like epically sooooooon, think Wednesday. XD This wed the 18th! Idk why I'm saying it though, I think I'm just excited to be 20. I don't know why but 19 seems to not fit my current life (I mean by being a college student) It just seems too young. I don't know why my brain is thinking like that, maybe it's the whole judgmental factors of "teen" years. Idk I'm weird like that. I should just keep this stuff to myself! XD If anyone understood that then welcome to the dementedness of my mind! Lol.
Wooooooowwww, I can't get over that. I'm going to be 20. o.o Crazy stuff, I swear! XD

Anthropomorphic Movies?
Posted 12 years agoSorry I know it's odd to suddenly come up with this but I haven't seen many anthropomorphic animal movies as of late, like within the 3-4 years. Really the only movies I can think of off the top of my head are (which are mainly animals) Rango, Kung Fu Panda 2, Happy Feet, and Fantastic Mr Fox (Alpha and Omega?). I don't really get why there hasn't been many movies out on the big screen (or I'm just really thick and there actually have been). I honestly would love to see a StarFox-esk science fiction type movie or maybe even a fantasy movie, oooo post apocalyptic(not zombie type)! There is so much they could do and create! So many creature designs and concepts! It could be so wonderful! :D just thinking on what they could do with my fursona, a Mage Wind Lioness. From what I can quickly think of I don't recall a movie with furries and magic combined. (I don't know if there is or not, I'm doing this off the top of my head).
But I'm wondering about your thoughts on the subject. Would you like to see more anthropomorphic movies and if so what sort of genre, plot line, other type of stuff? Do you think that maybe there hasn't been that much because the idea is unpopular at the moment or because the furry name has been tarnished so much? Updates hmmmmmmm.
Well one, and most can tell this, I really haven't been motivated to draw much. I know there is still a bit that I've got to do before I'm in the clear but overall I'm having problems getting there. I'm trying to figure out where I want to go with my art. But I'm not sure what to do with it at this point, I know I still have a lot to learn and such but I feel that my art is lacking something and I don't know what it is. I've spent hours trying to figure it out and I'm honestly clueless. And this is as well as trying to figure out my art's importance is really throwing me off. I'm still going to try to put stuff on here, but it probably won't be top notch work.
For two, I'm pushing myself to do something that I wanted to start at the beginning of summer. But because I'm a dunderhead, I've been putting it off despite wanting to do it very badly. I'm finally going to push through and start drawing my LoZ fan comic. I've been working on this for like 6 years now and I finally think I'm at a good point to start. I don't know how many times I completely started new on the idea and tried making it better. I think I'm good now! So I'm going to push myself to do this no matter what I'm feeling. As this is part of the whole 'I want to know where I want to direct my art' type of thing. Ya know, I have a LOT of stories that I want to tell. But I didn't want to start automatically with an original concept. That's one of the main reasons why I'm starting off with a fan comic, to test the waters and my abilities before I do serious work. So I'll post the cover artwork when it's done here and a link to the first page which will be on DA. I don't think I'll post the comic here, it's not Furry orientated so what's the point of posting it here? I don't know.
That's pretty much it. You most likely won't see much serious work from me, except for the stuff I still owe. I'm just going to do some stuff so at least I can be active here.
Any thoughts or opinions would honestly be helpful...

That thought just shakes me to my core. At first it really didn't hit me, but thinking about it now, and how big UMD is. Just, I feel lucky to be alive.
Normally I don't like talking about where I live.. But HOLY SHIT.
UMD is a HUGE college, There are thousands of people who go there and there are quite a bit of areas that is a perfect place to set off a bomb and cause maximum casualties....
What is he decided to place a bomb there? Would I even be alive right now?
....This morning, when I was leaving the campus to go home, I got the UMD alert call that the campus was closed. I was confused, there was nothing out of the ordinary going on. Within minutes later, they had a police car and a cop at the entrance that was not letting anyone into the college. That was at 8:44 AM, then at 10:01 AM I got an alert text saying that the campus is being evacuated....
This stuff is crazy. I never would of thought someone as heartless could be going to the same college as me.... Who knows, I probably could of passed him somewhere on campus.
There is a person I saw that says that they used to have class with him. Wow, I couldn't even imagine....
I don't know what else to say....

Posted 12 years agoSo yeah, gone for a long while. Didn't mean to be but since I've been having so many computer troubles and college has been such a killer on me, I haven't had the time to do much. -_-
Ok, computer. So I put photoshop elements 11 on the house computer so I could do some art when I got the free time. Some of you might of already known that, but just refreshing. Ok, but now I can no longer use that photoshop since it was used on 2 more computers. So now photoshop is all like, you need to buy a new key before you can use photoshop again. MFer! -_- but then I had gotten my laptop to work. I had put vista on it, but yet again since the key was already used, and now my 30 days are up, I can no longer use my laptop. So I'm stuck at the beginning all over again. Doesn't help my dad is a computer hog. So it's rare when I actually get to go on the computer. Right now I'm typing this from my phone.
There are so many freakin things I want to post on here. I got some new characters I want to show you and I want to try doing a free art raffle.
And with homework and college I'm going to sum up. Everyday I go to college at the same time, 7:30am, now when I get home that's a different story. Mondays and Wednesdays I get home around 6:20pm. Tuesday at 5:20pm, Thursdays at 2:00pm, and Fridays at 4:00pm. So my schedule is a bit hectic.
I'm just so aggravated with all this stuff going on. Ya know? :/
Anyways if you read this, how is your day/week been going?

But anyways, Happy New Year! 2013! Yayz for surviving the apocalypse! XD Here's your celebration cookies! -holds out plate of cookies-
So anyways, my laptop is still bad. Defraggler isn't really working well, at all. So really my only option is to reboot. But I don't have the money to get a new windows 7 reboot disc. And the original one I had is pretty much gone, nowhere to be found. I don't know if anyone else I know has a disc. Most likely not. However Tyranth found his old vista reboot disc. So if I can't find anyone with a win 7 disc. I'm going to downgrade to vista. Not that I want to at all, but I shouldn't be picky when my only source of income is my art. -_- oh well.

Commissions on hold
Posted 13 years agoSo yeah, due to my malfunctioning laptop I have to put commissions on hold.
I caught a virus while I was drawing a picture. And then spent the next day trying to get rid of it. I had found online a guide to get rid of the specific virus I had, System Progressive Protection. A rouge virus. I believe that I had gotten rid of most of the virus, the 4 different programs I used said I did. However now my computer doesn't work properly on normal mode. It's slow, a lot of things freeze up. My Internet refuses to work despite it saying that I'm connected to the Internet. I pulled a system restore, but that barely did anything, it only stopped my computer from being in a dead crawl, to a uncommon slow. Hell at first my laptop wouldn't even let my system restore, it was only after booting up the laptop from its repair booting option did I get it to work. But still I tried having the system preform tests on itself, I forgot what that was called. And I was tempted to try a BIOS, but I didn't read up on that enough to try it. I think it says it restores settings back to default? Something like that. I don't know. I've tried A LOT to try and get my laptop to work. I tried putting LIKE EVERYTHING back on its default settings to see if it was something I did just before the virus happened or maybe something the virus changed? However I'm not having much luck. I'm glad I can get disk defragmenter to work now though. So though I'm either waiting to see if I can have someone look at it, or either I'm waiting to get me an external hard drive so I can pull all shit off and do a reboot. Because after spending my full day on that laptop, I'm just sick of dealing with it.
So anyways that's my rant. Hope you are having a better week than me!

So college has been a killer so far. I've been busy for so long! DX And I still have a lot of homework to do over the weekend as well. Goodness, I would love for it to be winter break already!
I have a few commissions coming up. I'm going to try to draw less dark background oriented pictures though. Seems to be a lot of that as of late. >.> Opps. But I hope you've all been enjoying my pictures! :D Also I'm trying to get my paypal up and running soon. Just got a few things to figure with the bank and then it should be a go!
Also, I'm going to try and get up some pics of humans and ferals. Give you all a look see of those!
Anyways, I hope all of you are having a good day!
