It was a late night thing and if any of you know me personally, my already unusual humor gets worse at night and that journal was mostly something to make myself laugh and see if i could get a few people to read it, sorry to anyone who was offended x3

Alright, well i just got back from the midnight release of Toy Story and I'm sure you all are absolutely dying to know about it. For the minute number of you who actually read my journals, you probably already know I'm not exactly easy on movies. Rarely do I enjoy a movie made in the past decade or so. But I have to say... Toy story 3 was well done, as was expected. The Toy story movies always had good writing and humor, and the plot to 3 is one we can all appreciate, the regrettable process of growing up and moving on. I don't want to reveal too much about it but the villain and story process was very well designed, and there was a bit of the mushy childish stuff in there cuz well, it's toys, but that of course is the magic of Toy Story, bringing back that little bit of childhood happiness that the real world and age seems to corrupt. I have to say I enjoyed the movie... I know that may stop some of your hearts, so please take a breather. It was a wonderful and heartwarming way to give the franchise closure. Of course it may have that strange side effect on viewers who haven't released all of that adolescent magic, to imagine what action figures strewn about their rooms would act like in the absence of people (right now I'm looking at my Gurren Lagann pose-able and Autobot figure, wondering if they'd ever spar...). I'd highly recommend this movie for anyone looking for a flick to catch over the weekend ^^

As a little side note, the Pixar short before this movie... is by far the best they have done, it is utterly brilliant in a way I can't even begin to describe within a reasonable amount of text, you will just have to see it for yourself...

So yesterday i decided to haul my ass over to Orlando to see an old friend of mine, Pilot, who was in the area on a family vacation and luckily had the time to hang out. IT was fun, not much to do of course around Orlando unless you feel like doing untold damage to your wallet. We ended up just chatting and walking around downtown Disney, finally going to see the prince Of Persia movie. Another friend named Oreo told me it would be bad for three reasons

1. The lead actor is white, not Persian
2. he's wearing the outfit from Warrior within, not sands of time
3. the storyline was off

He had no idea. As Usual video game movies are bad, but this receives some sort of award. As Pilot cleverly put it " Looks like they made it in window's movie editor" which was spot on seeing as all the slow motion, and i use that term loosely, was low res as fuck, and looked like they didn't bother to use a high speed camera, just slowed the frame rate down on a normal one. The story line was just... cheesy, so much that I became lactose intolerant, they tried to stick a love interest ( which seems mandatory for action movies these days), some bull about how brotherhood conquers all, acting upon your heart over anything, standing up to whats right before shit goes sour, etc. just too many messages for one lowbrow movie to contain. Within the first 15 minutes me and Pilot agreed the movie felt more like Assassin's Creed when Dustan, or however it's spelled started, running around rooftops on extremely conveniently placed wooden posts jutting from walls that seem to serve no useful purpose other than letting an outlaw with catlike reflexes escape from hordes of guards which posses the balance and coordination of the three stooges. At the end of the movie we came up with a brilliant drinking game which can be played with three people, assign the word " sacred" "dagger" and "Sand(s)" to either person and drink every time it's repeated in order for a fairly decent buzz by the end. Though if you try to drink when any of them are said, I guarantee a hangover that will make you wish you could turn back time.

Poor Cinema aside, it was a fun day. I think Pilot is a pretty cool guy, eh is a German shepherd and doesn't afraid of anything, looking forward to seeing you again at FWA buddy.

Well it was my first time going to any of the Elliot's events, i heard this was the best so i decided to go. Leafy graciously paid for my entry and all I had to do was get her there... and be her con bitch for the day as she was manning the dealer table. Luckily the person ahead of her on the list didn't show so she got the spot. We got a spot next to a wonderful artist named Tyr who was almost like a second Leafy in personality. I dare say that the one day i spent at Elliot's was much more fun than the full weekend I did at last year's megaplex, probably because I was socializing a bit more and actually meeting people. But I got some nice spoils which I've posted up, and i met some good artist, caught up with friends, etc. Overall it was a fantastic day until the ride home where a cop pulled me over for doing 70 in a 55 area. Either this is bogus because I was going with the flow of traffic, or I'm such a talented driver that I have subconsciously figured out how to go faster than the person ahead of me without colliding with them. Anyway I'll fight it, Mom knows a good lawyer who will happily help, plus the cop said he saw me from the side of the road yet my radar detector never went off. so how could he accurately gauge my speed?

Anyway I guess it was worth it, dunno if you can put a price on friends and a fun day with lots of laughs though the $266 the state of Florida wants to charge me for it seems a bit steep.

Ok so  pilot is doing a contest out of boredom where you submit an idea for a picture to draw including yourself and him and the most interesting and creative one wins. He's making me do a journal to help advertise but i just see it as adding more competition so DON'T SUBMIT ANYTHING >:U

Ha got you, I'm not cuz I don't do squat unless you want a story written (which would get me off my ass) but this guy,  tor6789 is, he's a wonderfull artist and I promised him I'd tell my friends about him, he's pretty new to the fandom if I understood him right.

He does woodwork, music and drawing, right now he's making me a custom engraved wooden ring for me and a pendant for my friend, and his prices are reasonable. All his comission money goes towards getting hi, and his girlfriend to move in together, so give him plenty of work. He's a wonderfull guy to work with, happily agrees to fill any request you want for the comission so drop him a note.

I was a loyal fan of Nintendo, i had all of their systems and bought nothing but Nintendo UNTIL the first Xbox came out, and now they do this to me D: If I've bitched you before then you already know that my Pokemon doesn't work online when I'm trying to trade one on one, but even worse, my freaking Wii can't get online anymore either, and what makes it double the pain is fucking monster hunter tri is out. " Hunt with your friends my tail, I'm stuck here in my own little world getting my ass smacked around by monsters who hardly notice me whiffing my sword and shield at them T.T

I'm literally at wits end and shaking with rage. I want to punch a baby to death before making a meatloaf out of it. For practically two years I can't seem to get any router to work in my house. Like I live in some hundred square foot anomaly where routers are prohibited to work properly. I've had routers that stop fucking giving off a wireless signal whenever they feel like it, one that allow me to do everything but connect with select online games for no fucking reason what so ever. and it seems the only one I can even get to work at this moment is an infernal linksys N router that drops wireless signal without any rhyme or reason and I can't connect to anything with DS Wifi using it. I Literally have a pile in my room of routers which will not pick up either the computer or modem and I'm still deciding whether a bat or lighter will win back some of the joy they sucked from my life. I'm in a freaking IT class right now and I still can't get this shit to work, you can't imagine how frustrating this is.

Don't you just love it when you contact someone politely about their art, prices, if they are open for commissions, various questions like that, and they just outright fucking ignore you? Don't even bother sending back a reply saying " No sorry I'm not taking commissions now or ever, etc" you wait nearly a week for a reply, figure they are busy and don't have the time to check FA, then find about ten submissions from them waiting on your message page? Well I sent about 8 messages out to artists in the past week looking for a comission and only one bothered to even respond. How is it people get so big headed and full of themselves that they don't have the time to be curteous and type five simple words " Sorry, I'm not taking commissions." Hell they could leave it on their clipboard and and copy paste it over and over, take five seconds out of their artsy fartsy day. And if any of you people say " oh they get bothered all the time if they are good." i don't want to hear it, there's no excuse for being rude when people are admiring your work, and frankly they should learn to suck it up, they post their shit for it to be shown off, they have no right to be upset with people flooding their inbox. Just had to rage about that.

so yeah i was tired of the bullshit my lite was pulling and pre ordered the new xl cuz the small lite cramped my hand. i underestimated its level of massive. as my friend Oreo would say, the screen "goes on for days and days". but yeah cool features, in fact i wrote this journal on its browser.

Ok so anyone without their head up their tailhole has realized that this robot unicorn attack game on adultswim.com has been very popular in the fandom lately. As I was playing I thought " Hitting z and x isn't very comfortable..." so i looked at my xbox controller hooked up to the desktop and thought. On March 4th of 2010 I think I watched probably one of the greatest movies I will ever enjoy. The title is simply Stalker. It's an old russian film done in 1979, and it is a perfect example of what movies SHOULD be. This movie was three long hours of three men walking through a forest and crumbled buildings. No action. No special effects. Just intelligent, philisophical dialogue and walking. Don't get me wrong, it does get pretty suspensefull at times. But this is a true movie, art on a reel. It doesn't attempt to be everything like 'movies' today do, They try too hard, to have action, comedy, drama blah blah blah and don't leave enough room to actually have a deep meaning or well thought out plot. Before one person says 'AVATARLOLOLOL' stop it, that movie was so cluttered with special effects and it takes no brainpower at all to get " hug trees" out of it. If you have the balls ( or patience rather) download Stalker, plan a day you have nothing to do, suck up reading subtitles, and try it enjoy a movie with actual writing and makes you use that squishy mass inside your skull for a good few hours.

( if you want the plot, go ahead and wiki it but then again it may spoil some of the ending)

Ok I know this is going to get me a black eye but I'm pretty tired about all of the Avatar hype and art I'm seeing. It was an OK movie at best, and if it wasn't for the other-worldly graphics, it would have been the most mediocre and unmemorable piece of shit I've ever seen. Now that it's paved the way for stuff like that, I bet people will forget it in a few years as 3D gets even better and the technology used in it is applied to more movies.
