feel like posting this...

I feel a bit adrift lately I haven't been getting much real human to human interaction due to everyone being on a different sleep cycle. I feel a little bit alien... especally with my usual game group fragmented after a big breakup between two friends a year ago.
Also friends on FA are working more often too... and dispite work being okay I really don't see anyone except at the beginning and end of my shift.

I've been doing game research in my (little) spare time to see what to record and post of any upcoming game ya'know get ahead of the curb on something... I've been hearing of a game called Hatred lately.

Holy sweet nucklefutz I don't think I'll be rewarding this game with my hard earned monies.

I know there are some folks on here who might enjoy it, but... the more I look deeply into the game it seems it was made to cause contravercy and cash in on it.

The game itself isn't about hate, or rage, it would require a story for that ala Hotline Miami. It's about sadism and viscerally killing the innocent for a high score.

I don't play many brown military shooters (I've skipped all COD games since borrowing black ops 2) as those games are not about war anymore... they are sorta just high tech military gun porn. you can only pop so many angry pre-teens with a Barret 50. cal, and pop off so many kill streak weapons till it becomes boring.
I supposed that's why I get my shooter fix from TF2 due to it's uniquely team-based gameplay, fun playstyles I can build, and art style that is anything but brown and drab.
It also helps that the physics engine, while more primitive, isn't just sitting there determining what direction the dirt and grime flies when I fire. It lets me do crazy and fun things like rocket-launching my butt across the map and landing on a sentry, which juggles my cartoony corpse in the air for a few minutes.

Hatred sadly seems to fall into a category of murder porn. I'm not speaking out against it being made or protesting anything. But it's a cynical cash grab and just so much cruelty for cruelty's sake. I say this having played and beaten both of the Manhunt games, and Clive Barker's Jericho...

Sheepy cannot play such a game, so it's going in the basement of the arcade of dreams. Next to the propaganda games, the games by 50. Cent, ET on the atari, and a whole slew of poorly made movie tie in games.

well the let's play wagon is now back on track now that my disease has been dealt with I am awaiting commissions to come back as well.

I plan on playing through thief, and Amnesia, then theif 2, and either cry of fear or dead space.

Also I might monitize a few videos to help buy channel art.

if anyone has ideas for let's plays lemme know, or if you buy the game I will do a play of it.

I sometimes feel hemmed in by my creations and social life here online and want to take a walk around in the real world of the nearby city, just to sorta... enjoy the real world with all it's complex and strange problems. Untangle myself from the electronics and wires, and seek peace in the morning sun.

Then I get home when midday comes and I get harassed by the mosquitos outside my house from the nearby marshes and go back to my computer.

part of the reason I bring this up is that some folks have asked sheepy on dates, and even asked for fem-sheepy's hand in marrage, it got awakward and creepy real fast.

No... you cannot marry the electronic manifestation of kindness and silly sexiness that is sheepy. Though i understand because I am genuinely kind and respectful, and that is sorta rarer on the internet than it should be.

Male Sheepy tends to represent the writer/comissioner here, while fem-sheepy is sorta a sexy character who is freaking adorable... which is why there is more of her.

I'm fine with RP dates though ^-^


Also on other notes I played games with my little cousin, during a lull I checked out a friend's stream, there was porn, my little cousin almost saw it but it was so badly drawn at the time (super rough sketch barely a person) I closed the window very quickly and talked to him about art, showed him a few tame or actiony pictures.
I had a deep thought on why, and I realized for all people talk of sexual freedom and liberation and all that, the people on here have interising opinions and biases.
For example a some furries freaked the heck out at Enek for playing a human... it was weird.

I for one don't believe my 12 year old cousin should be exposed to the world of strange furry things yet, nor games like silent hill and so forth. He's a sweet kid, and I don't think he should be exposed to this kind of stuff before he is emotionally ready... he still plays sonic, mario kart, and minecraft and is far from hitting puberty. His mother my aunt is super religious and very nice, I won't go behind her back or abuse my position as the cool cousin. But I will answer his questions if he has them.

I myself was taught all about sex at the age of 6, mechanically I understood, but likewise going through puberty was kinda shitty and I was the school pariah. My little cousin is a bit shy but he has actual friends in school and goes to church and all that... I won't ruin it or push my lifestyle on him.

Lastly people have asked "how can you be straight offline?" to me a few times, especally with the number of dicks in my gallery. I was mentally sexually mature far earlier than my classmates due to my mother giving me the birds and bees talk so early, and I was, and still am, still very smart and lack some social skills. But it took forever for my body and hormones to catch up with my brain.
Then I hit the internet... actual internet... not dialup... and dove into the porn section like a champ. Burned out a laptop too when looking back.
The reason I'm Omni online and straight/asexual offline is I've always seen the real world in mechanical terms, and that makes things uncomfortable. Especally when I am super polite and get friend zoned. Rping and writing was always a way I could goof around and play with ideas. if it's real humans doing porn I'm not attracted, and I don't find real world males sexually arousing.
But if a girl made the first move, I'd happily go along.

This is part of why sheepy is a machine I suppose.

I'm a christian, have been ever since I was little, I find I often get weird looks when I say that, by folks here and elsewhere. In part because I have a naugty mind, love science, and have above average intelligence. I also don't do the self loathing thing that a lot of christian furs on FA do.

Well to put it simply I've studied cultures, religions, history, and literature all my life. I've considered and learned about many faiths, and the hundreds of variations within them. I chose christianity, not because my family is christian, though that did have an impact because they are good Christians, just as a bad religious experience can spoil your opinion, good ones can help you see the positive stuff. Faith also got me through some very rough times with my mother's alcoholism and being bullied in school.

I chose christianity because I love Christ and his message of hope, peace, and redemption for mankind. I'm not much of one for any church dogma, and I don't treat the bible as the literal word of god. it's been translated and re-translated, and copied so many times and there are many versions.
I've also looked into the torah and koran >u> some of the stories are awesome.

I sorta noticed all the major religions of the world all seem to stem from this same white light and trying to trancend your baser evils that lead to personal and worldly suffering.

Also on the issue of "OMG GAYS and EVOLUTION" the homosexuality stuff is right next to the stuff about seafood in the old testament, I'm a christian, not jewish, therefore while it's got good lessons and provides context the Old Testiment isn't meant to apply to christians in a dogmatic literal, because christians go through christ. It was likely a commandment law for a reason though, it totally screwed up inheritance law and family culture (two guys...no kids which are VERY important to keep the family alive...and whose family gets the stuff if they die?) and health reasons (imagine anal sex, pre-running water, toilet paper, and flushing toilets... ewww)

As for evolution... the reactionary hate for it by some christian groups is tied more to the position of mankind in the cosmos. If mankind evolved instead of *ZAP* humans made in god's image, then somehow to these folks mankind is no longer special. it's not the science they are arguing, it is the place of mankind.
I say why should a brick be ashamed of the clay he was made from?
