Suggestion box: Ghostmaster

However I need to create gravenville and various ghosts and spirits, and since I woke up due to canine. >,>
this entire thing is loosely based on an very very old game that came out around the same time as sims 2.
I think I'll open the town and it's ghosts up for discussion here. Let's build a small city!
Notes on ghost cosmology: there are only 3 realms the Mortal Plane, the spirit world, and The White Light. The Haunted Council is formed of the most powerful spirits, and they don't concern themselves with the petty beliefs of mortals unless they directly threaten the spirit world. No ghost not on the council knows exactly what the white light of the next world is, and the council keeps mum, This isn't about religion.
Notes on ghosts: there are many types and Ghostmaster's special ability allows her to lend ectoplasim to ghosts, letting them use their powers to much more powerful effects. Spirits range from elemental, dead humans, spirits, and creatures of various folklore.
otherwise just have fun with the world and embrace the scary sexy tropes.
Anti-ghost stuffs: Any human with a powerful spiritual connection can banish ghosts back to the other world, given time to focus and act. (traditional priests of any kind, new age spiritualists, the rare legit psychic) Some rituals and magic do work, however much of it has been lost to the march of history. Various modern versions are dangerously wrong Religious Hoodoo, Neo-pagan or wiccian rituals, and occult lore, are all so garbled by time and the internet you have a 98% chance of screwing it up.
For example, yeah a circle of salt works to keep out spirits, but what type of salt for what kind of spirit?

For those who keep sending RP requests I am accepting no more of them.
For those who are currently Rping with me, I enjoy things I really do, and I will continue to play but lately it seems like I can't move without being buried in new Role Play Requests. I like to have fun but please be patent, basically I spend all my nights off requesting art and roleplaying.
A real good RP takes energy and planning, I can handle 3 or 4 at a time, but not 7. Especially when a single session with a single person can last upwards of 6 hours.
And for everyone else this is why I haven't had the energy or time to write the massive lovely stories I love to do with each commission.
Sheepy servers are at maximum capacity.
Thank you all for understanding.
Also on top of this RP stuffs there is family, gaming, work, and my story projects >.> so yeah.
feel free to ask about RP's but be aware that just because I say "no" or "not tonight" it's not because I dislike ya, I love you all, I am just at maximum capacity.
Also NO just because you send me a note to RP and we have a little session where you visit sheepworks and have humpity fun with the robots does not mean I'll buy you a $120 picture of your character in an 8X10 glossy fully shaded high resolution, from a well known and super expensive artist you love.
Gifts and requests are just that, I sometimes get art from artists I am very good friends with, sometimes it's a gift, sometimes I request it and they either say yes or no.
The same is true of my own gifts, I give them to people when I feel like I had fun, can afford it, and happen to have a good solid idea in my head.

Don't worry those on the Art schedule list in the previous journal, you'll get the stuff I wanna give you, but I need to stop being as generous, I gotta get health insurance and save up enough to move out of my father's house.
So yeah... sorry if I'm a little bit of a foul mood, my sister crashed my car into a snowbank, spent all of yesterday dealing with that after work No real damage, just a replacement bumper. Now because I stayed up I'm very sleepy and yet cannot sleep because it fucked up my sleep cycle.
To leave it on a good note, my sister who is a decent artist is planning to open up comissions this year and you can all comission her for cheap No sheepy porn though, that'd cross a line.

General | Posted 11 years agoI feel I should probably clarify my stance on some things in the wake of these murderous attacks in france by homegrown extremist islamic dumbasses.

I have read the investigation report and these are the result of long standing socital woes in france that these groups used as fertilizer to grow a crop of pain and misery for europe.
I've read and studied much about history and culture, I have looked over religious texts from the big three, studied their history and lore, and even done some reports on them in collage.
I can say I respect islam, and even admire it's accomplishments while europe was languishing in the mess after the fall of rome. (I won't call it the dark ages, because there were some very bright spots, just not enough.)
That said I lament how far this part of the world has fallen since the collapse of the ottomans in the first world war.
Europe has to fight these extremists and also fight the conditions upon which they thrive, poverty, marginalization, personal and cultural isolation, mistrust, and ignorance. Things that countries like france have ignored for too long amid the immigrant and refugee population. Clean up the shit, and the poison fungus stops growing...
This all said Freedom of Expression, to me, is both the right to offend, to proclaim, and the right to be offended.
Charlie Hebdo has the right to draw whatever they want in their comics, and millions of muslims have the right to be offended by it and write a fuckton of bitchy letters and emails telling the magazine to fuck off.
it does not give any dumb bastard the right to shoot people over a crude picture, murder is murder, and these murderers need to be punished for their actions.
Which is kinda already happened because they shot at police and police shot back so all but one of the criminals and one of their girlfriends is dead.

I'll charge about $5 per short story.
I can do just about everything except toiletplay Not doing that stuff.
I also create works in the G-mod format using Half-life, Dark Souls, and Team Fortress 2 models.

Why did I eventually (7 years after discovering the fandom and jumping from persona to persona) pick Sheep. One of my friends asked me why I like them so much so I figured I'd share my answer after a bit of deep thinking.
1. "Everyone is Sheeple" I've heard tons of psudo-intelectual rants start with this. About how the "masses" are "sheep" and blah blah blah (or baa baa baa) and their "enlightened" opinion is the only one that matters. I find this funny because when sheep are removed from the herd they are actually some of the smartest little critters in the animal kingdom. Up there with dogs, pigs, and cats on the animal intellect scale. Curious too, enough so that being a shepherd and keeping them from wandering off to investigate things was a full time job.
Most people are a bit "Sheep-like" but I wouldn't say that is a bad thing. Kind, Caring, Naturally gentle. Humanity has gone a long way towards becoming a gentle and kind species. (Still got a long way to go mind ya, but compare the views of an Imperial Roman Pleb to those of a US Citizen. You may or may not like the US but on the whole the american is going to be the kinder and more compassionate of the two.) Because of this most people react passively when surprised by nastiness because they don't have any experience with truly terrible things in the world.
2. "Are you a wolf or a sheep" This question was asked by my psychology teacher to his class. The entire class Answered Wolf. But I answered "sheepdog" but these days I'd say "Ram" because the while the entire world wants to be wolves, seen as empowered, cunning, and aggressive. Especially in our semi-ruthless consumer driven economy. As long as there is grass, there will be sheep, as long as there is sunshine and good earth there will be grass. As long as good rams stand guard wolves will simply starve.
3. I like cute fluffy things... I remember petting goats and sheep at the county fair as a kid. It gives me the warm & fuzzes feeding them from my hand.
