I've been dealing with a guy at the game shop who is a "Punk Hipster" it's the adopted son of a good friend, but he's just irritating everyone at the shop.
Largely do to his self righteous espousing that all conventional things suck, basicly going anti-majority to be cool, without knowing the first thing about the political/religious things he's spouting.
Occasionally he's called out to the devil as a joke when his character would've been surprised, and somehow thinks he's being anti-authority by doing so.
He's played hyper agressive, and has been disrespectful. On top of which he's annoyed me by bashing the things I hold dear at the table.
He wants to run a game of all evil characters.
It will be the only D&D game I am not going to play in.
I should not look forward to the explosion of drama that will surround his game, with the players all killing and backstabbing each other.
But I do, and I know I should not.

General | Posted 14 years agohello everyone, I finally had insperation for a decent adventure story, kinda why I haven't been posting now that I'm back in my writer's groove, it is going to be a long one and I want your imput.
there are no furries in this story, but the main character is Avarius Thune, an Aval, in this setting (as opposed to my D&D stuff) they are beautiful, but alien looking ab-humans who have evolved over time with exposure to galactic conditions, such as space, radiation, and other such things.
he crashes on a dark fantasy world washing up on shore. This world has been overrun by vampires who evolve and mutate quickly, without humanity (save the great fortress city of Home) to emulate, and no need to blend in or charm people, many vampires have degenerated into feral bezzare creatures.
and Avarius must survive this world in his attempts to get home.
I've been thinking on old games, books, and movies and have come up with a few strains.
Coquin: beastial cave dwelling creatures coquen are humanoid in shape but tend to galop on all fours, their tounges have become feeding instruments that can lash out and peirce flesh, then suck a villager or animal dry, but it is never enough. Coquen are vuntible to sunlight of course, they burn easily, and water harms them, a moat is almost universal for defence against these beasts.
Alidue: aquatic sometimes mermaid like vampires they have evolved to overcome their vunribility to water, becoming incredibly vunrible to sunlight even a completely cloudy day burns their flesh unless the clouds are heavy with rain. they also have some telekentic powers.
Krox: the physically strongest of the vampires, but thankfully rare the Krox were nearly exterminated by human hunters out of fear. these hulking humanoids are immune to sunlight, incredibly strong and tough, combined with regeneration, they remain vunrible to fire and being impaled, especally weak to running water.
Rotz: the weakest of the vamperic breeds, created from long dead corpses of advanced decay, they are like jackals or wolves, all standard fighting methods apply.
Spyx: spider like vampires, with long limbs and gaunt white forms, and massive fangs, they are decended from the cultists of the vampire empire, and retain the most intelligence, prefering to trap and outwit their victims before dining.
