Unca and his booboo have offered to help me out with the whole process!
I am looking for a smaller, 5-speed, reliable, fuel efficient car under $2500
Any suggestions on what make, model, year, etc I should be keeping an eye out for?
Or hell! If you live close by, would you be interested in selling me a car similar? lol
I'm going to stay open minded while looking around. (although, the specs listed above would be preferred)

"The Hero" by Teiran BOOK REVIEW
General | Posted 13 years ago I bought this book at Anthrocon 2012. The idea of a knight and a small innkeeper involved in a tabooed relationship, along with the religious involvement, sparked an incredibly relatable interest towards the book. It took me a while to actually pick it up and read it after I left the convention but when I did, I could not put it down.
I would first like to say that is novel has to be one of the best books I have read. I have been going back and forth between 4 and 5 stars and am deciding to rate this book 4 stars for a few reasons, but my experience reading the book can not be rated.
The characters are unique and the story is fantastic. While the story appeared to be somewhat predictable, these expectations are soon doubted with several event twists that alter the course of this book. I found myself emotionally effected by this the story nonetheless. I was cheering for the characters when they needed cheering, I was screaming at the characters when I became blown away by their actions, and I was crying when one of the book's several heartfelt passages crept up on me. This pulls you into the story a great deal. You could feel the love portrayed between the two main characters. Their intimate sessions together were very involving with the way the emotions of the characters are described, along with their thoughts and feelings splayed out on the page in a detailed manor. The imagery was great, although, concerning the setting, the author left the designs of some things hanging with the lack of a thorough description. In a way this is preferred because you have more freedom to imagine the world around these realistic, believable anthropomorphic characters.
Though I loved this book, there were a few things that irked me. There were passages where it felt as if the same line had been repeated two ore even three times, but worded differently, to get a point across. This becomes a bigger problem during the sexual parts of the book. It gives you the impression the author was too "distracted" to pay close attention to the way the sentences were worded. You get what the author wants to convey, but it is still a big distraction. There were also a few filler characters that the author threw in that you just forget about as you continued on reading. This isn't too big of an issue because you are so involved with the few important characters and the story surrounding them that lesser characters would just get in the way. This questions the need for their involvement in the first place.
The main thing that drives me crazy about this book is the uncertain, hazy motivation of the Hyena character during certain parts. I won't say too much to spoil anything but by the end of the book you are reflecting on his actions and how they came without a consequence and are never brought up again. Someone could argue that the phrase "Love is blinding..." comes into place here but it was something I personally could not get over.
Even though this book is not perfect, it is an excellent read. The characters, the story, and the mix of mature and adult content blend wonderfully to create a book that I will remember for years and years to come. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves reading furry fantasy, action, or love novels.

General | Posted 13 years agoOkay..I am back from AC and to keep my furry high going I am going to ramp up my commissions drawings. I have about 3 left for my current batch...and I think I want to try doing the easier ones first to motivate me to do the bigger ones. So I hope this works for my commissioners if I mix the order up until I am done with the first ten. I really think this will help me accomplish some art!! :3

General | Posted 13 years agoI have an art project due Friday. I have worked my ass off on it so far but have only completed about 50% of it.
Should I try my hardest to make it look the way I want it or rush it to make my deadline because I seriously doubt I can with finals approaching and the extra work that has been piling up around me if I do take my time on the project. :<

Eastshore is coming over for the weekend. <3 I cant wait! :D This will be my first time seeing him in person and I'm so excited. My parents are welcoming him with open arms and I hope we will all get along and be happy and all that mushy stuff x3 Also, My tablet is on the fritz. D:
I have 2 detailed art projects due on the 25th and have only gotten half way on ONE. So alot of my time will be spent doing these. Commissions will have to take a step back until I can atleast finish one of these projects because I can't afford to fail art :/ I'm sorry for the inconvenience. *huggs commissioners*
These next few weeks I hope will be some of the best in my life. :3 I have My otter coming over this weekend, next week is prom, then I graduate on June 8th, and THEN ANTHROCON ON JUNE 13th!!! I hope all goes well. :3

General | Posted 13 years agoI'm just too backed up with arts I need to complete. I do not want to overwhelm myself so I will be accepting no more art commissions. I have a few slots promised to a few people, but some certainty would be nice, just to see what I'm dealing with.
I have 9 or 10 more pics to do. I have really been buckling down tho, sketching most of the pics already, making it easy to edit, line, color, etc, without getting much of an art block at all!. ^^
Im trying to push videogames out of my life for a while as well. Skyrim had taken up about %70 of my spring break when I wanted art to take up %99.9 of it. I figure I can get pics done in no more than a week or two now. I still have school and what not tho, >.>
Anyway I'm looking forward to getting these things looking good and complete *hugs everybody* :D
I have 9 or 10 more pics to do. I have really been buckling down tho, sketching most of the pics already, making it easy to edit, line, color, etc, without getting much of an art block at all!. ^^

My Anthrocon letter came yesterday and I'm so excited!! ^^
My dad asked me "how much do you need for the trip?" And I winced, letting out "250, possibly 300..."
His response: "yeah we can do that" :D
I already have raised $160 from my awesome commissioners <3 (I am working as hard as I can without burning a hole in my brain from frustration and I thank you deeply for your patience)
So who else is going?? And if you are, maybe we can meet up and hangs! :D

General | Posted 13 years agoIm not sure if it is just me, but when I go to the front page or my subscriptions list, It takes about 3-5+ secs for every image icon to load. Are any of you having this problem?
It isn't too bad to deal with though lol.I just wanted to know because the old site layout loaded up almost instantly. :P
