Today I spent about 1 and 1/2 hours working on  RedWhiskey 's commission.
I finally got past the wall I had set up infront of me; being afraid to move forward and risk messing up.

I do not know these individuals personally, but their story brings me to tears.

on the 15th,  lokiblackfang and  ponybird died in a car accident.  Kaza was the husband of lokiblackfang and  SillySerpentine was the wife of ponybird. Please keep these 2, along with their family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Let them know that the community will be with them in their time of need.

I think I have temporary art block . I have been driving myself to get these commissions done faster since I feel that I have been slow compared to other artists when it comes to producing what the client has paid for.

In this rush to "get shit done" I constantly find myself frustrated by one thing or another; A limb that is disproportionate, markings that may or may not be correct, and stiff, unattractive poses have become more constant with this desire to finish my art quickly.

I think I am going to take a small break from drawing, even my personal projects, including my school art project that is due in a week.

Maybe I'm over-critiquing or maybe I'm just sick of drawing everyday for hours at a time...idk. But I need a few days to recuperate I think.

And to my commissioners, I am sorry for the wait :C But I would rather produce an image that is late and looks good, than something thrown together in an afternoon.

I just got done watching the first episode to MLP: Magic is Friendship.

I have, for quite some time, thrashed the MLP fandom for all its worth. I then conjured up the idea, "Hey.. Why hate something without probable cause?" So with an open mind, I watched the episode.

Ohh lord.. What can I say? It's not a bad little show. I kinda want to see what happens next..

The animation is good, the characters are likeable (some more than others), and the story actually left me wanting more.

Can I see myself as a Brony? Not sure..
Have I walked the walk when it comes to being "open minded"? I believe I have.
Will I have more respect for this fandom and the people/art/lifestyle involved? You betchya.

So before you hate blindly, like myself.....
Give them little ponies..a little chance...so... the world can be a..slightly happier place...because friendship....Friendship is Magic.
