Posted 13 years agoYou may have noticed things have been quiet here at Ishtar Writing, well, that's because this is a very small business venture with but one paid writer who still has to pay bills and the like. It means that even at the best of times we can become overloaded, our batteries dried up, and suffer the dreaded writer's block. But you can help! More work incoming means we at Ishtar Writing can keep working even when a given individual project has become difficult. Book of Changes will return, for those watchers who are worried, and there will be new work as promised, but please: if you want to see Ishtar Writing thrive and keep putting stuff out there, contact us!

nefer for her endowment to the cause. We here at Ishtar Writing work very hard and try to meet demand expeditiously, but as with all small press authors it is sometimes very difficult to balance real life woes with an online presence, and without the work of individuals like her, we'd be folding up our shop; indeed we still might without more commissions from readers like you.
Therefore it is our pleasure to announce that the series Book of Changes and Gotham Nights will be continuing as we attempt to shift into a more regular workflow. In the meantime as of this date Ishtar Writing will be increasing its output with magazine length fiction of varying genres. Not all of it will be erotica, but it will still meet the high quality you've come to expect from Ishtar, and of course if there are any suggestions or requests it will be our pleasure to consider them as free work. So if you have a specific scene or other small idea you just can't wait to see in text, let us know!
