Hey, who's this tiger?
General | Posted 4 years agoUntil today I had not posted anything here in 11 years. A lot has happened since then.
I have always been lesser known in the furry community. I tend to be off doing my own thing, never cared much for parties or cons and never did purchase art. Oh, I have some friends here and about, good friends. I like small groups, good food and good conversation.
So, anyway, in the real, I went back to school, twice, ran a non-profit, taught, wrote a lot of non-furry stuff, had a nervous breakdown, got my tail back together and after all that, decided to make a concerted effort to start writing again. Furry, non-furry, articles mostly but who knows.
I like to tell stories. Growing up I became a chronic liar which I thankfully grew out of. I still have a vivid imagination and I remain curious about the world.
In the real world I am an advocate, a teacher and an experimenter.
I hope you find my stories interesting and thought provoking. I once was asked why I can not write happy stories. I answered truthfully, "I do not live a happy life. However, all my stories are ultimately about hope and survival, no matter what."
If you wake up, ready to kick life's butt, you will be ready when it tries to kick yours.
Peace, my friends.

NaNoMo
General | Posted 16 years agoEvery November there is National Novel Writing Month. This year, I decided to take on the challenge of writing 50,000 words in a month. Well, with all that happened this month, including the holidays, a furry convention and taking up my father's website again, I didn't make it.
I think my count was 22,263 and I wasn't really even that far along with the story. Maybe 1/3rd. I'll keep writing on it though.
It's not officially a furry story, well, it does have a dog in it. So, not sure if you'll see any of it here.
Peace.

You may be...
General | Posted 16 years agoThen again, you may not be...
...wondering when I will write something again. Well, I am thinking about it.
Of late, things have been crazy. That is my life though. I may have a year or two of nothing interesting going on and all of a sudden, I am busy.
It takes some adjustment.
Since Cicero started her job, things have been crazy with what she was doing. Then, there was me getting the person she was tutoring, then the person that had been promising me some work for about a month finally called. Add to that, I am learning to play the drums and now that I have a bit of extra money...taking karate.
I'll still have some time to volunteer and write, hopefully. I will see what my monkey bread of a brain can come up with.
I am not sure where I want to go yet, but if anyone has any ideas for something they haven't seen before, I can give it a shot.

When Worlds Collide
General | Posted 17 years agoOkay, that's it for that series. If anyone would like to see more, let me know. If no one shows interest...well then maybe nothing will ever be written on it again.
Story Sequence
General | Posted 17 years agoMy next several posts, I can not say how many, are going to be from my When Worlds Collide story I in the early 2000s. Since these stories have traversed several computers and operating systems, I have lost the original dates and I have lost some sections of the writing. Some of which I may not wish to recreate, some of which I may.
I know that stories do not get as much attention as artwork, but you really don't want to see me draw. :)
