large scare, insite to my life
Posted 8 years agoso on Monday, my apartment was broken into, nothing was taken cause well i was here, however didn't get a look at the guy.
Well, today, we had someone show up with access to everyone's keys, who wasn't a realtor and came with out one. Claimed he was looking for someone in vancover, let just say red flags everywhere.
Got a hold of our land lady, my partner and talked to my mom about it, im still a little freaked, but yeah.
I also not sure if this is the guy who broke in or not so flags every where.

Posted 8 years agoyes this is heavily in regards to what i posted last night.
I'm kinda at this point where, im not sure it im just letting people get to me or not. but im at this point where i feel either that my style isn't "desirable" or that its one people like but aren't willing to pay ofr. as i said i may just be letting people get to me, or i could just be in my own head currently... but i'll be finishing what i owe including that YCH i posted today, then idk if i'll be taking on trades or coms for a while. as i said i could just be in my own head but until i find myself again, i don't think i can really take one more work....

Posted 8 years agoSo i went to a con called Furnal equinox, and my tablet worked fine the friday, i packed up my computer and brought to the room,on the saturday my tablet stopped responding with the computer,i spent a good 3 hours restarting the programs, restarting the tablet services, and reinstalling not only my drivers, but sai as well with no luck. so i used my laptop instead, it was working fine for the covention. I got home the monday, and kinda chilled till today to recuperate from the busy weekend. Well i went to work on art today and found my tablet still did not work with the computer, so i went to go to the wacom properties and found my drivers could not be found. I reinstalled them, restarted the computer and same thing, the drivers could not be found. I spent about 2 hours attempting to figure this out, then moved to my laptop where to my knowledge everything was working. WELL now, my laptop is giving me the same problems as the computer, where my drivers can not be found...has anyone delt with this before and know how to fix it?

° Character Details & References °
In order to portray your character correctly, I require a reference picture of your character. Reference pictures are most helpful when they are flat colored, front and back depictions of the character. If your character has many details that are easy to miss, I require a detailed description of the character. Please try to keep all details regarding character references and pose ideas in one note.Please try to keep the description of your character as concise as possible, and avoid sending detailed back stories that are not relevant to the commission piece itself.You are responsible for detailing any information on your character that may not be visible or incorrect on your reference picture. If you do not present everything to me, I may not be able to get all the details right. Please do not expect me to know everything about your character without you telling me.If your reference is shaded, I am not at fault for wrong colors and or missed markings.
° Payment °
Payment is to be sent through paypal or devainat art (only if points have been discussed). I do not accept money orders.I require payment up front before I start on your commission. When sending payment, please leave a note with your username or facebook name. I will start your commission when payment is confirmed. Make sure you send your payment as a Service, not as a gift.Please do not enter any additional information other than your username.
° Revisions °
I will only correct minor details or make changes to the line art during the sketch stage. There is a limit of 3 minor changes. Any changes made afterwards or major changes during the commissions, will be charged an additional $5. It is your responsibility to present all details to me from the beginning.Complete revisions of a piece can also only be done during the sketch stage. I will only do one free complete revision per picture. Any revisions afterwards will be charged an additional $10.If you have presented me details at the beginning i have missed, they will be fixed for free.Once approval is given on a sketch, I will not be doing any more changes to the line art.
° Cancellation & Refunds °
Sometimes things come up where a commission must be cancelled, either by the commissioning party or by myself. If you need to cancel the commission for any reason, you must do so before I start the final stage of the picture. Once the picture is in the final stage, I will not issue any refunds.If the picture is cancelled in the middle of me working on it, refunds will only be issued for work not yet completed. Example, if you commissioned a painting and have to back out when line art is completed you get the difference back between the line art and the painting.
Please note, if you treat me with disrespect, I reserve the right to cancel the commission. Cancelled commissions will be refunded for the price of the work not yet completed.
° Reposting °
The only people who can repost are the artist themselves, the commissioner(s), and/or the characters owner(s).Selling full rights to a commissioned piece can be negotiated on a case by case basis. Unless it is discussed otherwise, I retain full rights over the image.
° Deadlines °
If you wish to have the commission done by a certain date, you need to give me at least one month’s notice prior to commissioning me. If for some reason you do not want the image uploaded until a certain date, you must also specify this in your order. If the deadline is missed for any reason, you will receive a 10% refund along with the finished piece.Any deadlines issued with less than a month’s notice will be charged a $15 rush fee.

Recently it has come to my attention that one of my dear friends is in a highly absuvie situation. They are in a home where they do not have their own space, their partner is being emotionally and sociallly abusive to them and they are lacking the time a lone they need. They are unable to leave the house, and are having a hard time doing anything these days. As me and our friends are now fearing for their lives we started this go fund me to get them out of that home.
We've set the price at $3000 as they live in austrillia and myself and partner have offered to take them in here, in canada and get them on their feet.
In normal circumstances we would just help them get to family, however that is not an option here as the family is alo highly abusive. The family is similar to the current partner but have been known to be physcially abusive as well.
As the person we are helping is in this kind of situation i can not disclose a lot of their personal information, or a lot of who me and my partner are.
If you could help us get them to us we would be forever apperciated. As flight prices are subject to change we are using the 3000 mark as a ball park area. Any thing extra will help them get food, clothes, and to get them to the airport.
I apologize for how long and vauge this is, but if you've ever been in a situation like this you'd understand.

UPDATES!
Currently all my painting commissions are on hold. I recently needed to ware a brace while i work and I'm not comfortable with the brace for long periods of time to ware it threw a painting commission. Until i'm used to the brace while drawing and feel confident with painting with it these are on hold.

Posted 9 years agoEarlier this month, I had a 15 commission me for porn. At the time i didn't know the age and took on the commission cause it wasn't him who spoke to me about the com, it was a really good friend of mine who set up everything and played middle man. Due to this i believed the kid to be of age. Once i found out his age I refunded him his money. However paypal slipped up and declined the kid his refund, not once, but twice. Upon calling paypal and sitting on the phone with them for a total time of 2 hours, they told me they couldn't help me and blamed my bank. So i called my bank, however my bank is now blaming pyapal. So now I'm negative $90 due to NSF fees and another $40 on top of this to refund this kid, for a total of $130. Even though it doesn't seem like a lot, I live off government assistance checks of $558. With a rent of $310 (cause i live with roommates), which means after he is paid and so is my rent and the nsf fees i get left with $118 to feed myself, and 2 cats for the month, it's not impossible but i'd rather not do it with moochey roommates who will legit steal my food.

You'll receive a high quality scan unlike the ones shown for an example which are taken from my crappy phone.

Posted 9 years agoOKAY so i have a big problem which means emergency commissions for multiple reasons. The commissions will be a PWYW (pay what you want) style and the more you pay the more I'll do of your oc.
I'm asking for a min of $2 on these.
Reason 1: I'm moving and are in need of a few bucks for the moving van. ($60)
Reason 2: My tablet broke and I'm behind on some older com from when I couldn't pay my rent due to my check bouncing. This being said I still owe two commissions from this one standing at $100 and one at $50.
Reason 3: Replacement tablet <-- Not really an emergancy but like it's needed to further work on digital stuff.
My Goal amount for my priority reasons (1&2) is $210 All art examples shown are my me. All traditional works can be shipped out free of charge on orders over $10.
(US- $1.50 CAD-Free Over seas $2)
I'm asking for a min of $2 on these.
