More life stuff, really sad this time
Posted 4 years agoMy husband of almost ten years died the morning of 7 December, this past Monday. He had been suffering from pancreatitis and complications from that since August, but his death was pretty unexpected because he seemed to be improving really well. I was with him when he took his last breath, and I think he had achieved some measure of peace. I believe he also did not experience his death - he died in his sleep, so to speak.
He and I were working on building a house, and I'll still be moving into that house with our cats, but it will feel a lot emptier without him. He was so looking forward to this new adventure.
We were very deeply in love. I've never met someone who had a bigger heart than him, and I loved (and love) him every bit as much as he loved me. I'm absolutely devastated by his death, and a lot of others are too - he made a big difference in a surprising number of people's lives.
I do want to make some art to commemorate him, and also get back to the porn and such in the new year. I just need some time. Thank you for your continued patience and adoration.

Life stuff
Posted 5 years agoHi all, I've tried to post a bit more this year than previously, but life events keep getting in the way.
Our landlord asked us to leave our apartment in mid-July. He said we could take a few months to do it, so it's not a proper "eviction," and we're paid up on rent and such. However that's been a big stressor, and it means we have to find another place for the two of us and our four cats to live. My parents have graciously offered to host us in a new little house on their property, but my parents are getting close to elderly and I can only be there so often, so construction is slow.
My boyfriend of almost ten years spent 32 days in the hospital, ending this past Tuesday, due to pancreatitis. So that was pretty stressful as well.
My mother had a mastectomy surgery today to remove a noncancerous tumor.
So when you see I'm not posting much - please know that I'd prefer to be posting a drawing every day if I could. Just life keeps intervening, and my mental health is pretty poor as a consequence. Hard to create when you're depressed and anxious, etc.

What rare species would you like to see?
Posted 6 years agoHi all,
Somewhat along the lines of my previous journal entry...from five years ago...hehehe...I suck. Anyway, I want to create interesting and unique art, so I'm curious what sorts of uncommon anthro species you'd like to see here.
Dogs, wolves, cats, foxes, and horses are decidedly not what I mean, but middle-tier uniquity - like bears or zebras or fennecs - could be. However, the rarer and more interesting, the better! Bonus points for more challenging specimens.
So, what do you think? What species would you enjoy seeing that rarely gets airtime in the fandom?

Putting out a request for requests!
Posted 12 years agoHello Those Who Have an Affinity for Fur (and those who don't),
I've been having some difficulty thinking of things to draw. I want to do some complete drawings (using graphite), not just doodles and sketches -- I at least want to have full clean line-art. So! Comment or send me a note, telling me what you want me to draw. I give no promises about timeliness, or even if I will take the suggestion, but I want more ideas!
Vanilla or fetish welcome, but be aware I will not do scat, fat, or violence.
-Your friendly neighborhood shapeshifter, Iuch
PS. Lately I'm addicted to Jonathon Coulton songs, and I also loved the show Code Monkeys. Here you go. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNl3.....otation_883500

Never fear, for I continue to exist on this physical plane.
Posted 12 years agoJust a brief blurb to let you know that despite my absence and silence, I am in fact still alive. During the summer I have very little Internet access. I have been drawing some more, and there are some good ones in the offing, so stay tuned!
Well now THAT was uncalled for. Why are people mean?
Posted 12 years agoI just got called an "ignorant fuckshit" (sic) for not knowing that Big Macintosh is a stallion and not a colt, on a note that I had replied to on the topic. Well, perhaps I am ignorant of correct horse terminology. However, this in no way makes me a "fuckshit." I like to think I'm a pretty nice guy, all things considered, and I also like to think that there's no place for meanness or violence in the Fandom (well, some people are into gore, and they can have that, but no meanness toward each other).
If the fellow who'd said that to me would take the time to get to know me, rather than spouting names, then maybe we'd be friends. I'd like that. *sigh*
And I want Big Macintosh to be a colt, because it's a kid's show and he can't be more than about sixteen in human years. But maybe that's splitting hairs.
Lesson: be nice, bronies and furries, because we're really all we've got in a world that doesn't understand us.

You all are AMAZING
Posted 12 years agoYes, including YOU, YOU who are reading this wee little note.
I just wanted to give some blanket appreciation to the marvelous people in the Fandom who create such fantastic artwork. It's true that most of what I enjoy among that artwork is smutty, but I think it still qualifies as "art" (take that, Miller Test!), and in any case much of it is tremendously well-done.
So, you're amazing. Thank you for enabling my obsessions. :D

Horse faces are hard...
Posted 13 years agoPretty much as the title says. I've done so much Iuch art, and I decided I wanted to bring in a horse character (with far larger and broader junk than Iuch, naturally), but drawing him tonight...his face is terrible. I like his junk though. Lotsa foreskin! :D And the pants, fallen down on his legs, are pretty good. But the face just sucks. Crossed arms are kinda hard too.
That's all, really. This semester is nearly done (thank the stars!), and I'll be able to go home and work on my delicious car. Hoorah!
Hope ya'll are having a pleasant time.

You can't just waste your life watching reruns and porn...
Posted 13 years ago...wait, what? Why the hell not? :D
This is just a note to my many many fans (ha ha, right?) that I do in fact have some more doodles in the offing, and I've also been toying with an alternate-reality comic series. We'll see where that goes, but I will be posting some sketches soon. One is inked. I still have yet to experiment with digital coloring, and I find manual coloring doesn't show well enough in scans.
Also, I'm back at university now, so while I have less time than in the summer, I also have more privacy. Double-edged swords.
Yours,
Iuch (say it 'Yook')

Hrrrmmm.
Posted 13 years agoHi there. I'm Iuch, and I had a thought I'd like to share.
I enjoy many fetishes -- I'm here, it's sort of a given -- and most of my fetishes are for the physically improbable: furry, hyper genitalia, etc. However, I also enjoy a good plain sexy doodle (or photo, or whatever the case may be), and honestly I've started growing a little afraid that I may be heading into a scenario where I'm sort of, I dunno, pigeon-holed as strictly a fetish artist. Not that I mind drawing fetishy stuff! I just want to draw non-fetishy stuff too. So, those of you out there who are, ahem, more vanilla than the rest of us, please don't hesitate to make a request of me for artwork. I'd enjoy doing it.
I also do writing, by the way, and I'd be happy to give a particular idea a shot in written form if you like.
Just five or six pennies. :) I like the penny.

Thoughts on gift art
Posted 13 years agoHi folks! It's your friend Iuchel here, in a rant about nothing especially important, but I feel like I should say something anyway.
My good friend Demyora94, in our various conversations, got me thinking about gift art. I define this as art that is done gratis, free, pro bono if you will, as opposed to commissions which are paid for. I'll happily do gift art for you if you like, on a few conditions:
1) You give me a general outline of what you want done, or, if you want me to draw you or a specific person, send me photographs, so I'm not just stabbing at the metaphorical curtain;
2) There is no time limit, so you might get the finished product in a week or a year;
3) I will send you a sketch to begin with, after step 1, so that I can refine your idea. At this stage you'll give me thoughts on how I can improve it or how I can better reflect your vision. Only after I have your thoughts will I finish the thing;
4) I will do non-sexy art, sexy art, or completely ribald pornography; I don't have boundaries here, except for a certain few fetishes (ask and I shall tell). I love outlandish ideas and I love to practice my drawing, so come up with some crazy ideas! Keep in mind, though, that I always reserve the right to refuse to draw anything for any reason (but I will give you a reason).
So...thoughts? :) I probably need to do more art before people are comfortable asking for gifts/commissions, so it's sort of a dog-chasing-his-tail scenario. But I'm cool with that.
I'll post a proper "journal" journal entry soon...stuff going on that I don't really want to talk about yet.
