As I get closer to the big 40, I'm craving the company of other furs 30 and older. I feel inspired by being in a discord for fic writers 30+, and the general atmosphere and attitude of the place is so refreshing and makes me feel safe.

I know there's disagreement on what constitutes a Grey Muzzle, but I just think the term is cute, lol. Either way, it'd be for those 30+, no matter the name.

It'd be nice to have others on board in moderator positions, especially since I'm pretty small potatoes in the furry fandom, lol. Ideally it'd be a chill place. Idk, this is just a spark of the moment musing.

Just by skimming the past 2 years in discord of art I didn't post anywhere else... it's so much. I want to put everything here as much as possible, mark my words.

I was a busy bee apparently! An inspired bee...

I still have some other art to upload before I get to the DT17 dump.

The problem is... there's over 100 files, with art that spans from last October to now. Nearly every one is on E621 if you want to see them now.

GRANTED, a lot of these are sketches I can consolidate into one file and just put in scraps. And a couple are alternate versions of the same pic. But even for the ones I intend for the main gallery, it's going to be over 20.

So my options are:

1- Just upload everything here and space it out with like 1 upload a day, or a couple a week, or something. This is the route I'm likely going to take.

2- Make an alternate account. My biggest issue with that is that I hate having to switch accounts. And once I have everything uploaded to the alt account, it would rarely update anymore, because *certain events* killed my motivation/hyperfixation.

I hadn't posted on FA for... damn, 3 years.

There's a lot of art to upload and catch up on. Some vore, a lot of Ducktales 2017, other miscellaneous things.

Oh yeah, I changed my name to be Shelly O'Chunks sometime last fall. I'll still accept Ivee, but these days I prefer Shelly or Shell. I don't know if FA has a way to change account names, but for now it'll remain as Iveechan. This was partly because I made the name when I was 15 back in 2000 and was frankly kinda tired of it, lol.

In real life news, I lost my older sister back in 2021 to aggressively spreading breast cancer. I still have dreams about her constantly and miss her terribly. I plan to have a mastectomy sometime this year, due to also being high risk.

Old one needs its screen replaced/repaired, so I've just ordered a replacement that's the same model (it's pretty old, but I like it and much cheaper than a brand new one), it will be here Friday. There's still old art I never uploaded here that I'll add periodically and the March Patreon-exclusive ones will be finally public. I'd really like to keep this productivity up and not disappear for months like before.

About commissions;

So, I fully admit I'm not very reliable and have this bad pattern of taking on a bunch, starting out strong in completing them in the beginning, but then becoming late on them and getting anxious and freezing up instead of just doing the art and communicating with my customers. I know it's bad and very unfair to people who paid and like my work, and I hate disappointing them and stringing them along, and I know some folks have been disappointed when I eventually contact them with a refund.

I'd like to get back into commissions but with some new constraints that will hopefully help me be a good artist for hire. For one, to start off with, I will only take one at a time. I don't think there will be any sort of waiting list, and maybe I can have a longer list eventually, but this is to get back into the flow of things and train myself into better habits.

For the time being, commissions will be pay after completion. I know this is a risk to myself, but honestly, I've almost never had problems with folks who commission me, for the whole people are trustworthy. I'd still have the finished art as a smaller dpi with a watermark before payment, so I think this could work.

I'm happy to be back and productive and that there's still some who are interested in commissions, from now on I just want to make people happy and get back into enjoying making art. It's really cool that folks are willing to support artists even with all this corona crap turning everything upside-down. Thank you!

edit: Oh yeah, for irl serious news, a few months ago I got genetic testing and, like my mom and two of my sisters, I tested positive for the brca1 gene, meaning that I'm at very high risk for breast cancer and higher risk for ovarian cancer. Next week, I am having a benign breast lump removed and most likely in the near future will get a mastectomy. My family members who have the gene were diagnosed with breast cancer at ages 38, 37, and 40 respectively, and I'm 35 now, so I'm taking this very seriously. Hope everything goes well.

Is getting a Hitmonchan before the first gym, so every chance I had to Dynamax him, I treated the captive audience to massive hitmon-taint.

Dunno when it will launch, I'm in the process of making at least 5 new images that have never been uploaded before. It will be primarily nsfw/kink-based, 'cuz it's fun to draw. I'm thinking that uploaded art will only be locked for two weeks, then it will be posted here (or anywhere else, but I don't use any other adult art sites atm).

There won't be any complex or high-value tiers, at least for now. I usually work 5 days a week which is why I'm not taking commissions right now, this is just a way to have some extra cash put aside for emergencies and stuff. Ideally, this will motivate me to start making art more often and maybe even taking short term commissions again, but we'll see!

Gen 4- Gabite? This one is hard

Gen 5- Krokorok

Gen 6- Goodra, even though I don't like its uguu face

Gen 7- Hakamo-o

Mostly reptilians with thick tails and pear shaped bodies. I want to draw Nidorina, Krokorok, and Hakamo-o stuff more.

For myself, I'm getting Sun and starting with Litten. Rowlet would be my first pick if Ardy hadn't already claimed it. Almost went with Popplio, but I wanted to try Wimpod out as my water type and, as cool as Popplio's evos are, ultra-feminine Pokemon just aren't my style, heh.

After the September commissions are clear, I'd like to do another YCH. It's already sketched out. This one will be sfw but it's a two frame sequence involving the character stuffing themselves.

I keep seeing tumblr posts pop up about shit like "you need to follow all of these steps to make sure there's no accidental shipping information", and it's annoying to have to use a service that seems so willing to want to screw people over. I mean, I've been using paypal since 2005 and actually never had my account compromised, but you never knew when shit will happen.

So for customers that are getting shipping emails, sorry, I'm just going through the invoices and making sure the shipping info is gone. Even when removing shipping from when an invoice is being made, it still shows up *shrug*.

Anyone use google wallet? Stripe? How are those?
