Free art!
General | Posted 14 years agoNo, not by me, I can't draw. Though perhaps running some kind of free art contest myself anyway to win an attempt at ascribble may be worth it for the comedy value. But I digress:

Video game meme!
General | Posted 14 years agoSo, its a meme, and its stolen from someone else, go me!
Day 1 - Very first video game.
Some battleships game on our old 486. OJB I think it was called. But as a 'proper' video game, Theme Park I think. I loved that game, and pretty much any sim game. Build things, make money! Yeah! Funnily enough, Theme Park was also my first pirated game, Dad got it on 6 floppys from a friend, I assume. Didn't even realise it until about 8 years later that they were just normal floppy's with 'Theme Park' written on them.
First console game was Crash Bandicoot, several years after the ps1 was actually released. We really kepy up with the time XD

A brief history of Iviv
General | Posted 15 years agoI'm bored at university, and got thinking about Iviv... and that turned into deciding to chronical his creation, how he's changed, and so on. Not particularly interesting stuff for the 99% of people who're watching me just because someone posted dirty art of my characters, but in that case this isnt for you. I'm not sure who it is for, but not you! :p
Anyway, Iviv was first created about 9 years ago as a username, because I wanted something original, and was at the time in love with Final Fantasy IX. And especially the character Vivi. So I reversed his name, and kept it ever since. As for the character, he spent most of his life as a forum-based Roleplay character. And back then, he was a total Mary-sue. Its somewhat sad to look back at, but I was young, and Iviv was pretty much the guy I wanted to be. Far too perfect and nice. Eventually, I grew up and Iviv matured somewhat, and developed personality. Important things. And as part of the character direction I wanted him to take, he became a werewolf. Mostly because I liked the idea of it, and wanted to try RPing it out, so that's what happened. Thats what I do with alot of my RPs/characters, want to try something out, so I just do it to a character or whatever. Anyway, in 2007, the first ever picture of Iviv was penned into existance: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4687717/
A year later, I pretty much left that forum, and moved into a chat room based RP instead, based on the Sonic universe, as I was invited by a friend. I basically side-shifted Iviv into the universe without changing too much about him, though I removed the werewolf part, as it didn't seem too in-universe, so he was simply a human. And then Sonic Unleashed came out, with were-creatures abound, and Iviv was lucky enough to get bitten again It was around this time, funnily enough, that I realised I seemed to have a latent affinity to furries in me, what with my continued movements towards being a were-creature, and generally enjoying the mostly furry sonic community, though I thought nothing of it.
It was also around this time that Iviv became gay, funnily enough. Well, actually he's bi, but he found a boyfriend, Aero the Bat. After some time living with his character, Iviv got involved with another character RPed by the same person, Reala the Nightmaren, becoming a handy point of torture, and a pawn in a fight between Reala and NiGHTS. He also got a pic out of it!: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1757302/
Eventually, after the fighting was brought to a close, Iviv was offered the chance of becoming a Nightmaren himself, and after some thinking decided to take the job. He got lots of powers, for once, and a whole new redesign, courtest of lil'shock once again! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1976504/
As a 'maren, he spent his time giving Nightmares, living with Aero, and exploring his new powers, for various fun things: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3126948 (nsfw)
Recently, he has been exploring his powers more, shifting into various species of animal to simply allow him to be someone else for a while. His favourite one is as a squirrel: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2554517/
Though he has also started being more adventurous, going so far as shifting genders, creating the character known back again as Vivi, partly as its a reverse Iviv kinda, but also slightly in homage to the braindead 13 character of the same name. She can be seen here: http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/.....ivirun-pre.jpg and in a state of undress here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4672876
So, that's about it. A short artistic ramble about my character, how self centered! Still, I had a couple of hours I needed to fill, and this did the job!

Job stuff
General | Posted 15 years agoYou know, I used to be a believer that if you had the choice of two jobs, you should chose the one that you will enjoy more, rather the one that pays better, because the you won't find it as boring, and it won't seem like such a chore. Of course, this was all in a time before I'd ever needed to make such a choice. Suddenly when faced with two jobs, I'm not so sure.
The first one is with a large supermarket, where I would be on the checkouts all day. Boring menial work, but I've already done it for 3 years with that company before leaving for uni. So its something I know how to do, and I managed it fine back then.
The other job is with what I would guess is the UK equivalent of Fry's, as I'm pretty sure I don't actually have any brits following me here. Anyway, I can see myself really enjoying this job. It would be a very small store, so I would be more a part of it, rather than just being a small cog in a big machine, it would mean more responsibility, actually selling to and dealing with customers, so I think I would find it much more interesting.
But here's the kicker. I'd be working for both of them on Saturday and Sunday. The supermarket is offering around £6.80 an hour, with time and a half on sunday.
The electronics store is offering £6 an hour on both days.
On the one hand, I would enjoy the electronics store working more, however on sundays I would be getting Over £10 an hour in the supermarket, £4 an hour more than the electronic store. And to me... job satisfaction is all very nice, but not at such a high cost, I don't think.
That said, I've not actually recieved offers from either of those stores, I'm just exceedingly optimistic regarding my chances. But even so, if I do get them, I think I would have to put the money first. More money means I can enjoy myself more in the times I'm not at work, as opposed to enjoying myself while at work.
Though if I get both offers, I would ask the retailer if they could pay time and a half on sunday as well, if they could then I think I would go for them, as £1 an hour isn't such a huge margain, and the staff discount would be more useful there.
Out of interest, what would you guys do?

Music Meme
General | Posted 15 years agoWell, I gathered all my music up... and managed a whopping 112 tracks! And a good deal of them are instrumentals! So its a good job nobody actually follows me or this would be a problem XD
... Or not. I wrote that, got about 10 songs into this, had an idea to check my old hard drive and now I'm up to 498 songs!
Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first line or two from the first 30 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Take the songs off the list when someone guesses both artist and track correctly.
Step 4 (IMPORTANT): For those who are guessing, looking the lyrics up on a search engine is CHEATING!
Step 5: If you like the game post your own.
#1 Sparks from the fire rise up to the sky. Higher and higher, oh I want to fly! Out of the story, this time I'll be free. Wake up for the moment from ths dream of me.
#2 Look at the stars, look how they shine for you. And everything you do.
#3 When I was a young boy, I tried to listen. And I wanna feel like that.
#4 We're no strangers to love. You know the rules, and so do I
#5 I admit that in the past I've been a nasty, They weren't kidding when they called me kinda strange.
#6 This was a triumph. I'm making a note here, huge success.
#7 Oh brother I can't, I can't get through. I've been trying hard to reach you 'cuz I don't know what to do.
#8 In a dream, I can see, you are not far away. Anytime, any place, I can see your face.
#9 O-o-oa-oa... Dansa med oss, Klappa era händer, Gör som vi gör, Ta några steg åt vänster
#10 Alone for a while, I'be been searching through the dark. For traces of the love you left inside my lonely heart.
#11 Grab the key let's go out and have some fun, Have you ever seen such a perfect day?
#12 Coming down the mountain on high, Towards the battle we go side by side.
#13 How long before I get in? Before it starts, before I begin?
#14 Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhaaaah! Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhaaaah! We come from the land of the ice and snow.
#15 What's that metronome I hear, perhaps the end is drawing near? You never hear the shot that takes you down.
15, because I can't make 30 without the same bands coming up over and over XD

How to Get Along with Me
• Be independent, not clingy.
• Speak in a straightforward and brief manner.
• I need time alone to process my feelings and thoughts.
• Remember that If I seem aloof, distant, or arrogant, it may be that I am feeling uncomfortable.
• Make me feel welcome, but not too intensely, or I might doubt your sincerity.
• If I become irritated when I have to repeat things, it may be because it was such an effort to get my thoughts out in the first place.
• don't come on like a bulldozer.
• Help me to avoid my pet peeves: big parties, other people's loud music, overdone emotions, and intrusions on my privacy.
What I Like About Being a FIVE
• standing back and viewing life objectively
• coming to a thorough understanding; perceiving causes and effects
• my sense of integrity: doing what I think is right and not being influenced by social pressure
• not being caught up in material possessions and status
• being calm in a crisis
What's Hard About Being a FIVE
• being slow to put my knowledge and insights out in the world
• feeling bad when I act defensive or like a know-it-all
• being pressured to be with people when I don't want to be
• watching others with better social skills, but less intelligence or technical skill, do better professionally
FIVEs as Children Often
• spend a lot of time alone reading, making collections, and so on
• have a few special friends rather than many
• are very bright and curious and do well in school
• have independent minds and often question their parents and teachers
• watch events from a detached point of view, gathering information
• assume a poker face in order not to look afraid
• are sensitive; avoid interpersonal conflict
• feel intruded upon and controlled and/or ignored and neglected
FIVEs as Parents
• are often kind, perceptive, and devoted
• are sometimes authoritarian and demanding
• may expect more intellectual achievement than is developmentally appropriate
• may be intolerant of their children expressing strong emotions
Hmm :3
