I was outside and found an albino wooly bear caterpillar! It was so FLUFFY! I diverted it from crossing a road and let it go into some bushes, because I didn't want it getting run over.

I've mentioned this to a few people, but thought I'd put it up here to give a few more laughs...
I had the thought of someone (usually a girl) running up behind a girl and yanking her shirt down/off and hollering "SHARK WEEK!!!" while the other has a surprised/embarrassed expression on her face. Because "sharking" puns are something I can't resist right now.

"Sharking" is the act of yanking a girl's top down/off, much like pantsing someone, except with a shirt. I don't approve of it IRL, but in a comic setting, it can be funny. :3

On an unrelated note, my interwebz work now :B

Well, still in the process of switching internet providers, the old unreliable one is still giving me fits and I'm grinding along at 0.2 Mb/s at times, and the new one is nearly 5 Mb/s but glitching to the point that if I use it much at all, I get disconnected. My only reliable connection to the internet is my phone, so, I won't be gaming much online or really doing much of anything. I did manage to watch a little of a stream earlier, though, which was a thrill :3

Recently, though, someone posted a false call-out journal against  aimee-lesley-sim accusing her of tracing art. I know it's false because I watched her streaming some of the pieces she's accused of tracing on. So, people have picked up the torches and pitchforks, and now she's been blocked from her streaming site, her customers have been harassed, and I'm sure she has, too. The person's call-out journal was reported and taken down, but this doesn't fix all the damage that has been done. I'll repeat, I have WATCHED her streaming art; she doesn't trace.

Also, people sometimes make me facepalm. I tried to point out POLITELY to someone that their YCH reminder submissions TWICE IN AN HOUR were a bit excessive and suggested that maybe once a day would be plenty. Next time I came online, yet another reminder with "Warning: If you post whining on my submissions, I will be hiding them. <3" on it. *Le unwatch*

Our modem/router has begun randomly disconnecting from the internet, so if I suddenly disappear from a game or stream or whatever, that's likely the reason. I can do some things on my phone, such as messaging, but it's less convenient and not really guaranteed to work, either.

That's right, July 26 marks the 4th year I've been on SecondLife :O
I remember lots of things that have changed, but I won't bore you with BACK IN MY DAY stories.
I will, however, tell you how I came up with this name.
When I started SL, you could choose a first name, and surnames were given in a list of options. I tried for a couple of days to get an account, but it kept failing. I knew I wanted Ivy as a first name, and there were a few options for surnames I liked. Finally, there was a day when I spotted Trellis, a name I'd been considering because of the amusing nature of it, and it finally did work. :3 So, I'm Ivy Trellis. I was pretty close to being Ivy Nymphae, though... And I remember my first Avatar, too: a Luskwood Jade Jaguar :D I ended up going there for a little bit of help with the av and then stuck around for the next 4 years. XD

Now, I'm that pervy pink fen that's always hanging about. And it looks like... December 23 is my FA day... Wonder what I should do about that... And today, for that matter... <o.o>

How did you come across me here? Was it from seeing me in SL? Art someone drew of me, perhaps you saw me chatting in a stream or something... Links from DA or something? I'm sure there's a variety of answers to this, and I'm kind of curious what brought people in to watch me.

I don't know how active I'll be on it yet, but I thought I'd give it a try... i'd been considering it for a while.

I've been struggling with naming a character I've been considering lately, which isn't a problem I normally have. <x.x>
The character is a panther taur, strong, beautiful, and somewhat proud, but with a tendency to get herself in trouble with it and earn a humorous or kinky comeuppance, usually involving something that humiliates her and keeps her ego in check for a little while.

So, I want something that fits her nicely, and has a nice ring to it. I also like the kind of name that works well with nick names, like Cassandra and Cassie, Alexis and Alex, that sort of thing.

Anyway, it's super late and I need to sleep... Maybe I'll add more to this, but for now, I'll just ask for a few suggestions. Does anybody have some suggestions about what to name her?

EDIT: I'm pretty fond of Vivian Newdegarde as a name for her.

I didn't mention this on the previous journal, but exactly two weeks after the previous time, someone ran me off the road again (going much slower, though) but I didn't wreck. People around here drive like maniacs, especially in the snow. It's been insanity lately. My boss saw people driving 3 wide down the highway at ridiculous speeds (it's only two lanes going either direction). Small wonder people get killed here all the time on the roads :P

In short, got my car back, out $500 for it, but it could have been way worse.

So, on my way home from work, someone was tailgating me before my turn-off. I live on a gravel easement road directly off a highway. It's a right angle turn. I signaled and slowed, this tool decided I wasn't worth slowing down for. So, I ended up taking the turn way too fast. Screeching tires, sliding, barely missing a tree, huge relief. Then I ran over the stump. did a lot of damage to the front of my car and plenty to the underside. Fortunately, it seems fully functional, but it's pretty messed up. :( FML.

I'm totally okay, just VERY pissed off. And for those wondering, no, the douche-nozzle didn't stop or anything. MURICA.
