Frustrating
Posted 10 years agoSeems like every time I try to hunker down on a big project I have to watch the toddler, the household gets sick, a family event comes up or family comes from out of town/state...
And you can't be like "Sorry can't, I have embroidery diaper covers and adult diapers to sew!"

Mainly for my sanity.
It doesn't hurt that it's bringing in money though either.
I'll actually be able to pay my doctor something this week.
Nothing like racking up the medical bills.
Doctor again, bright and early to see the little one.

Update 3 weeks later
Posted 10 years agoYet another week is added to my bed rest sentence. -sigh- That makes 6 weeks now.
The clot was down under 3cm long last week with high hopes it should have been barely to nonexistent at today's ultrasound, but no.
The fucker is staying strong...
The baby continues to be healthy. He was waving at me today <3
I'm also starting to feel those tiny feet =^^=

Not The News I Wanted
Posted 10 years agoHad my weekly ultrasound this morning, the SCH aka blood clot is back to its original size. :c We're certain it was because my daughter jumped on me this weekend since my bleeding had picked up afterward. I'm not mad. She's only one. It just sucks balls the last two weeks seem to be for not and it's upsetting that I'm back to sitting on my 50/50 chance of miscarriage.
I'm trying to be positive, but when the doctor goes back to that uncertain tone. It's just upsetting.

Pregnancy Scare
Posted 10 years agoFirst off, AAAhhhh! We're pregnant with our second baby! :D We're so happy!
First excitement...
...then scared shitless.
Two weeks ago, I started bleeding heavily at work and was able to get into my OB within an hour and had an ultrasound. Right off the bat, the baby was kicking and squirming away with a heart rate of 177, measuring exactly 10wks. Completely healthy. I balled so hard when I saw my baby alive and moving. I was so relieved. We found out that I had an anterior subchorionic hemorrhage that measured over 9cm long. It had caused the front of the gestational sac to completely separate from my uterus. We were so lucky the placenta was attached on the opposite side. To prevent the hemorrhage from growing in size, I've been put on strict bed rest until further notice. My doctor visit last week showed the blood clot was down half it's original size! Yeay! I have another appointment in the morning :3 Can't wait to see how much my little one has grown in a week :3
I'll probably update again tomorrow night!

Posted 10 years agoMy managers and market manager have been trying to get me to be a support manager ever since I became a department lead. Department lead is literally the easiest fucking job I've ever had, so it holds very little challenge for me. So the support manager position perked my interest for the challenge it held and the more [Walmart] knowledge/skill I would then learn. But day time supports normally work from 11a- 8pm aka a sucky ass schedule that also includes working weekends and not ideal for family quality time. If I were to become a support, I'd go nights. Always 10p-7a and my favorite hours to work. I'm a nocturnal freak. Hoot hoot, mother fucker. But that would take my husband and I back to our dating/engagement days of only having one shared day off most likely. .probably not even that and with a toddler in the mix. So again not ideal for family quality time. So I passed on the never ending offer.
I continue to keep my outs in my departments one of the lowest in my market (against about 15 other stores), totally flipped my departments in stock and profit in just two months of my promotion, my dept. reports are on par, and I'm even trending to have one of my biggest departments out of the high shrink category [apparently rare for this particular department] just after 6 months. Shrink is lost profit (Theft, overcharged or missing freight from trucks and incorrect running of processes, etc.)
Today, my market manager said he wanted me to go into the training program to become an assistant manager.
I don't know what I want. I want the challenge. I want to learn. I want to be all that I can be within this company. But. I want to be able to spend time with my family on a regular basis. Sleep with my husband more than one night a week. See my daughter more than just a few hours a day. Be able to spend it with my husband and daughter together at the same time. Keep my goddamn lunch hour lol.
I live for challenges and the satisfaction of succeeding. Without it, I'm bored and become unhappy, but I never want to put Walmart before family. Money is not important to me. We already make enough to be comfortable and I'm about to get a really good raise on top of that.
Oh, the dilemma... when the struggle is truly fucking real.

Posted 10 years agoUGH went to Kentucky on a surprise trip to visit my grandmother that I hadn't seen in 13 months. We were snowed in the whole time, but that didn't ruin our Canasta tournament <3 ♤♡♢♧
I was able to flee to Nashville before the next snow storm hit and made my flight back home to Texas to attend TFF, which was a blast! Spent the majority of my time with
and 
and the rest sewing it up with TFF orders.
Then back to the real world I went. Honestly, I don't know why I even bother taking a week vacation when I come back to two weeks worth of work. It was like I never took vacation, but that's Walmart for ya. It wouldn't have been too bad, if the storms I alluded up north didn't follow me back home and screw up all of our deliveries. So I've had to throw trucks on top of my normal routine of reports and new mods dropping. The good news I received was all Walmart leads are getting $3 raises! With training coarses up to $5 raise :) My store manager said it should be in affect this June :D so excited to finally get paid for working my ass off! And to think if I had accepted the Support Manager position a few months ago that my Regional manager offered me, I would've only received a $0.40 raise, so glad I decided to wait! I'm sure they will get a raise too since support managers are still hourly, but it hasn't been announced yet.
Well in other news, I'm currently cutting out the fabric glue for
midnightbrush's cutie mark! After my daughter wakes up from her nap, 
kay and I are going to IHOP to indulge in free pancakes for a late lunch and then the embroidery itself will begin! :)

Just about outed myself today XD
Posted 10 years agoSo I normally don't work on Sundays at Walmart and my older sister calls me this morning to drop off a crap ton of body wash, shampoo etc that she doesn't want anymore, so I tell her our younger sister is at my house to go ahead and drop it off.
I'm clocking out for lunch when I realize that I left all the MLP diaper covers out on the dining room table and the ironing board. THE SHIT IS EVERYWHERE, OKAY?!
Now, am I ashamed of what I make? No, not really. But I just don't want to hear the bashing/teasing etc that goes along with some people knowing. My older sister being one of the most judgemental people I know, I'm not going to tell her until she finds out on her own.
She literally had come in and set the bags on the dining room table. LOOKED AT THE DIAPER COVERS. And just continued talking to my little sister like it was just a place mat.
I walk in on my lunch ready to explain what I make and she's her normal perky self. Not laughing at me or anything. She didn't notice. She didn't notice the size. Due to it's size, an adult diaper cover has the ability to eat a newborn child. She didn't notice. My sister's Asian derp came to my advantage not once, but twice now. I'm ok with this. I'm ok with her not being able to distinguish between baby clothes and adult baby clothes.

My little heart strings...
Posted 11 years agoI worked late at walmart today then came home and went straight to working on 
projects. I stopped long enough for supper, a shower and not much more. I just put Tori down for bed and my little heart strings tugged for me to go back and steal for from her bed, but I wished her "Good night" and an "I love you" before shutting her door. :(
Can't wait for my vacation to kick in at the end of January.
Mommy needs a mini maternity leave to spend with her babe.

So my car deceived to lose a head light and my driver side door handle just gave up on life at the same time our inspection tags expired. Oh, and our routine oil changes are due soon too. -.-

GBFDUIGBSDFBGSD FFFFF!!! I had to wait for payday to get my highlight bulb. I literally got a ticket the MORNING of my payday. I was going to change my headlight after work and be Scott free .... But no, cops and their quotas... Grrr.
Then my driver door handle broke, so I'm going ghetto right now with no door panel. I have two choices, pull a cord or roll down the window. The handle will be an easy $40 plus part. I'm so lucky my step dad is a mechanic.
Meeh. Having the worst luck lately, but at least I'm making my store and market manager happy at work. That's something, right? **Shakes job security can and hears many coins**
