Closed for commissions Indefinitely
Posted a year agoI let you people know that I am indefinitely closed for commissions.
I am sorry for the ones that were looking forward to get something from me. I have had a stable job for 3 years, though it is mentally taxing and doesn't leave me much energy in the end of the day. I do not want to add to this the additional pressure of having to do commissions.
I am still drawing as a hobby, and would like to focus on personal projects that bring me creativity and art drive.
What I still owe to a few people, I will finish to the best of my ability, and then I will close this order chapter, I ask that you respect my decision and to not ask me for commissions anymore.

It has been a while
Posted 2 years agoI haven't felt much importance at the time to tell when I finished the course, but it went well. Passed it successfully in 2020 December.
2021 February. I have been through some job searching, and got one for a short period of time. I learned a lot there.
2021 September. Life decided for me that it would be better to set foot on different place.
November. I was once again employed.
Now I can safely tell I found my place, however I can never tell for how long. I must stay vigilant, and set my priorities anew. I can only learn far more than ever before here.
During this time I had a lot of time to purge myself off a lot of things. Getting to know my flaws better. These flaws will never be gone, all I can do is to learn to live with them, and attempt to shape better future out of them. Trials and errors.

Signed up for a course
Posted 6 years agoSince commissions are nice to raise some money, I had to realize it's not a steady income, and having to rely on them might kill the joy for my hobby, perhaps not permanently. The point is that i had to make my mind up, and look for courses to increase my knowledge, therefore I'm planning to get a certificate with up-to-date knowledge, and relevant experiences for future IT jobs.
Initially i just sent a sign-up form filled in to a course-centre for their Sysadmin course they plan to start, and I'm looking to hear back from them.
The course will however overlap my schedule while I'm going to be attending Eurofurence, but i believe it will be manageable.
The education itself is going to take 3 semesters, and i hope they intend to hold some breaks. Saturdays seem a good option, so that's a good point.
Down side is: It will cost me a lot, but for this money I'll try to make it worth it, because it would be sad to see that amount be going in vain. That amount is sponsored by everyone who commissioned me so far. I owe you all a thank you for that!

Life update - Job

I have a job, so that means I'm doing it in full time (8 hours per weekdays). It's relatively close to my home, so getting there and get back should not be a problem.
However commission completions would be delayed because of this. Whoever got a quote might have to be a bit more patient though. I'll do what I can though to get through all the remaining 15 commissions I have taken to my to-do list.

Don't play anonymous on me
Posted 8 years agoInternet is all about anonymity. I understand that part. Knowing that everyone here, or at most in majority is running on nicknames, or names that they put on as a mask on their name worn in Real Life is to protect their identity from the threats of cyber attacks, data harvesting activities.
Should one activity reach up on me I can tell from a few easy gestures through conversations what they are up to with me. Those who just simply want to chat with me they are fine to do so, so long as they are not trying to confuse me aimlessly, and they still don't want to tell what they are up to.
I will be honest with you. I have the liberty to disregard messages I can't get a grab on because I don't have time and energy all the time to parse messages I don't get to understand on first three tries. Those who makes it difficult to me are not doing a great job to catch my attention. Should one be throwing accusations that I am such a serious person can't take things smooth and easy and funny, I regret to tell that they must be living in a dark world, I am afraid.
There was a situation that happened to occur just recently where a friend's phone was used by someone else. Apparently it was someone I used to know long ago, but I was just asking for the name so I would like to know who has got their hands over this friend's phone. Mysterious person refused to cooperate. Those who happen to refuse, are likely to become suspicious in my eyes and are about to be subject of my suspicion that they must have taken control over not just friend's phone but his account as well, and who know what they are up to next with their account. I don't know what was about to happen next but in such cases as it happened through Skype where you must have gotten some URLs you were not supposed to click and your PC was also infected, that's the scenarios I would like to prevent.
Long story short: When I ask for your name, and probably for some bot-proof questions(mathematical quizzes), please be so kind to co-operate with me and help me determine your intentions are not malicious.
Should one fail to co-operate, I have no further business with them. =)
Should an ultimate bot-proof Turing-test question be efficient against such account thefts like pretending a denial of politically correctness forced ideologies which would otherwise trigger a real person to report you for being Cartman on Kyle way?

I have made quite an amount of those, but I would like to know if they are going to be coloured one day in the future, which ones should I be focused on the most? If they are going to be done, I would be able to sell them on prints at Dealers Den by next year.

Some people asked if I have a patreon. I had to ask them the same question: Why would it worth me have one? So should I put my arts behind a paywall so I can end up on lulz.net to see myself back there? Well, sounds like it would be inevitable in either way.
I seriously see no benefit of it in my own eyes. I don't produce as much you would assume i could produce. I just do some timely, and not much. I might have been productive years ago, but I prefer produce quality than quantity in the expense of my quality.
However I would like to know your opinion how does this whole thing work and how does this benefit me if I had one? What should I produce in exchange to make it worth both side? You guys, and mine on a reasonable level.

Chagne in commission money handling

I take commisisons with EUR currency. Not usd, gpb, aud, not even cad.
Anyone ever do it, I will notify them that I might convert the currency to EUR, but they will still owe me some extra since they might do with usd as their default thing they got used to. I appreciate the money, but EUR is what is strongest and I stick to it.

Plus it was a letdown in my eyes that the day I just uploaded something I have trouble finding the inspiration that well and produce out something for entertaining, suddenly with so many appreciation for my contribution suddenly go down the sink, and everything with it is gone.
I don't believe people would like to keep telling the same over again and it would never get the same appreciation again as its magic was done, so I don't find its point to reupload what was lost. Should IMVU consider to keep a daily Backup Task automation, I might do it again, but given with such low standards I am genuinely announcing that as a boycotting of where FA has gone and what it resulted the site have proven plenty over a decade have proven me enough, I don't have my trust for the site anymore.
Note system has become unreliable from this point forward, from now on I shall stick to e-mails once someone would like to give me a Personal Message.

Behind the scenes - Further Than Time
Posted 9 years agoA year ago I got to know Fox Amoore more personally over one of the Instant Messaging channels, and got to know eachother a little more over time, and then further beyond, then decided to work together for collaborations, I said alright, why not! I know what he was capable of since I was following his works for quite a long time now. I have been since 2007, but surely a year later I was following almost every one of his soundtracks he began producing. He sure already had quite talent back then, but how much he improved also made me amaze on his masterpieces. Each time he surpassed his limits when I was listening. Then I knew he is the man I am looking for, but that time I was just too shy to approach.
Then EF 20 happened, and with his Keepers of the Light OST he did sure left qutie a great imprint in my life about the feels he was able to offeer through an amazing showcase of events. [ Into the light ] Was the part where the emotions were reaching to heart the deepest and it also inspired me for a great moment I captured through its emotion [Here].
Ever since I told him about this success he made, we keep in touch and so we gladly hear eachother's opinions when it comes for a collaboration, where the moments of feeling can combine well together in audio, and visuals. I have never done any collaboration before like this, but it sure had a magical feeling to it, so I put my procrastinations, lazy side aside and started working on my [First] with him.
We kept doing it for a while till one day he decided to make a Theme song for me, which I was utterly glad about, so we began storming ideas, what elements should be used, and which feelings should be aimed as well.
Since I love sci-fi to a degree that it defines my fursona to a major point, I was aiming for the impression obtained through Interstellar, Deus Ex - Human Revolution, and some tracks of M83's Oblivion(Not the game).
He came up with the First work in progress phase with just the leading rhythm. - I immediately liked wher this was leading to. It was just barely a minute.
The Second version already had me stop chewing on my meal when I first heard the improvement on the song. It was that impressive. I had to bring my isolation headphones, and the feels that went through my spine was something new, but yet familiar, when you feel so satisfied with something that you don't know how further can you express your happiness.
It was yet again a great improvement. It started to sound even more futuristic, looking for a brighter future. Just the way it was meant to be. The synths there were the part.
From that time on I KNEW he was well aware of the feeling of the music I was looking for. I have had no idea how he managed to capture it this perfect... But he did it! And then I started to consider wearing aluminum foil hat.

Even I believed that it must be the pinnacle of it, but yet again I was wrong about it. There was always something more that could make it even better, and Fox did it!
I already began working on my part of the cover for this magnificent music. I have had 3 fine sounding idea, but then I had to listen to Fox this time for how easy solution he provided. And it was the most fitting among all.
As Bob Ross already taught me through his videos, which I enjoyed watching, I began with the background the same way towards the viewer. I believe this was something we had in common with Fox for how he began with the rhythms, which gives the basic structure of the music, and background for my artwork. It tells the light and colors in the basics, the whole feeling of it. Then I wanted to give a try on my very own character I have had not drawn in this epic setting for quite a long time, and the result was something astonishing. There were two of my friend telling me in all honesty I surpassed myself with this piece already.

Even though at the end I have been working on this artwork for days, I think it totally worth it! All I need to do now is letting my engines cool down, then I can work again on other projects as well.
Then EF 20 happened, and with his Keepers of the Light OST he did sure left qutie a great imprint in my life about the feels he was able to offeer through an amazing showcase of events. [ Into the light ] Was the part where the emotions were reaching to heart the deepest and it also inspired me for a great moment I captured through its emotion [Here].
Ever since I told him about this success he made, we keep in touch and so we gladly hear eachother's opinions when it comes for a collaboration, where the moments of feeling can combine well together in audio, and visuals. I have never done any collaboration before like this, but it sure had a magical feeling to it, so I put my procrastinations, lazy side aside and started working on my [First] with him.
We kept doing it for a while till one day he decided to make a Theme song for me, which I was utterly glad about, so we began storming ideas, what elements should be used, and which feelings should be aimed as well.
Since I love sci-fi to a degree that it defines my fursona to a major point, I was aiming for the impression obtained through Interstellar, Deus Ex - Human Revolution, and some tracks of M83's Oblivion(Not the game).
He came up with the First work in progress phase with just the leading rhythm. - I immediately liked wher this was leading to. It was just barely a minute.
The Second version already had me stop chewing on my meal when I first heard the improvement on the song. It was that impressive. I had to bring my isolation headphones, and the feels that went through my spine was something new, but yet familiar, when you feel so satisfied with something that you don't know how further can you express your happiness.
It was yet again a great improvement. It started to sound even more futuristic, looking for a brighter future. Just the way it was meant to be. The synths there were the part.
From that time on I KNEW he was well aware of the feeling of the music I was looking for. I have had no idea how he managed to capture it this perfect... But he did it! And then I started to consider wearing aluminum foil hat.

I've had some rough times lately, and inner confidence level dropped to a point I am starting to tie up the kamikaze bandana on my head about it. Closing eyes, and dashing forth something unknown. Lost some friends. I do act quite strange at times, but those who judge me for a lifetime for it, let me be straight about it: Their loss. If they were fool enough to give in for such a charm of my not so true self, they have probably deserved it.
I know I am not a one hundred percent person. We all made mistakes. I made my apologies, but if my words glided on deaf ears, I guess I did everything I could. My hands were dirty, but now it's time to wash them and can continue eating on any meals with them. That's it.
I am usually a forgiving being after a time once my anger settle down. We all fall into such charms of our dark sides. I do regret my bad steps, but those who can not forgive, they probably have their reason for that, but it will be even harder to explain why bad stuffs will keep happen to them.
I was obsessive with some things on my end, time to admit it. Time to let things go now. I can not guarantee this won't happen any more time. It probably will. The temptation of the dark side, remember?
It only matters how much we yield for this side that lurks all the time in ourselves. You can not expect this to be wiped out. Our dark side is what make us good as we are. Without bad there is no good to compared to.
I once made gifts in sketches for friends I thought they deserved them, because I am like that, who selflessly kill time from his own precious time to give something of my own value, and the profession I possess. Over time I tend to burn out of the thrill from continuing and need time to recharge. I was kept asking when I will continue it. The more they ask about it, the lesser I feel the comfort to finish them. This can apply to anything unless I am getting paid for. I have been even accused for why I will "never finish it", and I remember clearly this person kept telling it as much till I lost my motivation as he kept giving nothing more but bashing on my neck about it rather than fueling it with motivating care that could help a lot and could have mean a lot to me. This person I am talking about has only just wanted to use me as a ladder towards popularity, and I frankly do not support people like that once I spot it.
THIS is why I am picky for who tries to be friend with me.
I always keep a cautious eye, and when I suspect something, I (apologize for this, but this has always deemed necessary) have no choice, but see if they have a clear mind about it, and not infected with potential snap on me, which always proved right about my suspicions.
My lesson to everyone here as a Learn From My Fault: You pick your friends. Friends are the ones who do not bash you for your mistakes, no matter how many times you commit them, you are still loved for who you are. This is all that matters. Do not assume things behind their head that they have not said to you otherwise! If you think someone does not like you, asking can never hurt. Those who make a fit out of it, smack the emergency purge button and blast them out of your airlock.

Safety measurements
Posted 10 years agoSo I got some news related IMVU, and facts about what's happening around them and the whole situation.
Here is what I took care of: I previously had a Weasyl account and uploaded all my works there in case of this site is going off hands and beyond moral limits, because let's admit it: our works here are already in bad hands. =P
I technically docked at Weasyl, and FA is but a contact enhacement from now on. I would not remove all my works here if not necessary, but in worst case there is hardly anything else to do than that. The worst case would be: IMVU might take full charge of this site and lock us all out. In that case I still have other sites as well to back myself up, so no worries.

I've got a job, and will probably be starting in March maybe in shifts, but most likely be in full-time job. In case of a full-time job I won't be able to work on commissions any further, because I live 60 kilometer away from where I will have to go there on a daily basis and another 60 km back home, so I would most likely be in bed to refill my energies. I have been waiting to get a chance to finally work for something big, yet in a secondary profession I still like to do, and this is my turn.
I am sorry to let you know this way, but I am afraid I can't take any further commissions from this time forward. I won't be able to handle a freelance and grey-path earning which can come in good for extra cash. I am not going to announce any more commission slots. For how long? Please don't push such questions, because I am not going to answer them, those have been causing me difficulties to handle. Please keep in mind that I draw for my own entertainment, and relief, I want to keep drawing as a hobby, a refuge where I can feel myself relaxed.
I will finish what I owe people with, and I am all good.

I just love the thrill within the soundtrack collection. It has the most in common that I can relate with my fursona's story. Desperate, Resolve, Deliberate will to cross "borders" no matter the cost.

Posted 11 years agoI have been thinking what solution I could bring up to the issue mentioned in the previous journal. And before anyone would still be riding on the horse of who is a liar, or what not, let's just drop that and turn the page already to where I am reading. Here we go:

Let's storm ideas for panels I should make
Posted 11 years agoI used to be thinking of what topic should I give to a panel if I'd by any chance decide to make at Eurofurence which is probably be held next year(or let's hope so!), but I could not think of anything straight what should I show, because there is plenty idea, I just need to sort them in order so I could possibly make it interesting.
I would like to ask you guys what sort of topic I could present to you on a possible convention if I am going to hold a panel? What is it that you would like me to tell you there in person by a presentation? Give me advices if you think it's not too easy to handle.

Posted 11 years agoPossible lags have been measured during my streams and I can confirm it as well as I tried resetting the router, pinged it to a hundred count, and 1% packet loss is just enough to cause something like this, so excuse me everyone if lags tend to occur, I am about to look for a relatively affordable router to replace the actual one with a bit more reliable unlike this TP-Link TL-MR3220.
