In the morning, there may be no more Jack my friends. The day of reckoning is upon us. The sales begin at walmart, and I'm working a shift to 11PM. It's going to be a nightmare of frightening proportion!

Luckily, my assistant and faithful allies  yaegashi and  Ojikori shall be assisting me both on the job and in securing me a cheap xbox one.

So once again, I've reached the milestone that is my birthday. I write this of course as I sit here getting ready for another day of work. Just another boring day.

I'm not looking for any sympathy, nor gifts of any sort. Hell, I'm not even looking for attention. I guess I just want to write down. How I feel at the moment. Maybe then I won't be such an angry basket case.

For the last few weeks, I have worked hard to get my new vehicle. It's been a very stressful time for myself and my roommates. Even now, the threat of a broken ac system and the coming payments (both my increased insurance and my vehicle payments), have me scrambling and counting every last dime to make sure I can get it all paid for without dipping into the emergency funds.

As such, I've had to cancel plans for fur reality and am trying to gather with what I can for mff. Though, let's be honest, conventions are the least of my problem. Theres been alot of infighting In the apartment, most of it because of me and my psychosis. I'm always on people about the bills, the stress of working a crappy job to make ends meet, and the inability of others to get along.

I had a long talk with them last night, and if anything is going to get done, I have to change my attitude and my life. I don't know what I will do, how I will get there, or even what "there" is. All I know is that I don't want to be at Walmart anymore, and i dont want to stay a rage filled snarling raccoon.

If you're going to wish me a happy birthday, then let me thank you in advance and let you be on your way. If you're looking to grant me sympathy, then I'd rather you direct it to someone else who needs it alot more than I do.

Some of you out there may know that I recently attented anthrocon (as I was inclined to do every year). The biggest difference this time however, was that I got to suit pretty much the entire con in my own fursuit! It was an ABSOLUTE BLAST getting to go around in suit and find all my friends and suiters I admire strutting their stuff on the con floor.Hell, I even got to do the parade and fursuit games, which was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!! Major shout out to  The Beach Bears for arranging the rooms for the party, as well as many others within my room for being good sports about the whole rooming situation.

Special mentions:

 aquasian for being my suit handler the whole con. I know it may not have been everything you wanted to do for it sugi, but you did a wonderful job all the same Getting to see you was a truly wonderful experience that I am seriously happy about. Stay wonderful my little brother.

as of yesterday, I am finally a fursuiter! I will be debuting this bad boy at collossalcon up in Sandusky, though the first big show will be at AC 2014.

Looks to the doctors like its a stomach ulcer. They gave me anti-acidity medication for my stomach to keep from burning so much, and told me to lay off the spicy/acidy foods. ill be in contact with a gastroenterology doctor as soon as i can. for now, just take the meds and get back to work

So the last few days I've had terrible stomach issues and liquid stools. Decided to go to a local clinic about what's going on and their immediate reaction about learning I have type one diabetes in addition to all this is "you need to go to an emergency room now to get checked out!"

So much for work...

Well everybody, after 2 years of hoping and waiting, I finally have started making payments for a fursuit head! this one comes courtesy of a nice group of young upstarts  Fur.Bros. Their quote was amazingly affordable, and with their help I hope to make my dream of becoming a suiter a reality.

...as I sit here on the crapper at work typing this out before plunging back into the madness of last minute shopping!

So after a ton of hard work and plenty of help from  Alacron.Lone I have finally moved into my new apartment!

Pretty damn good place honestly, way better than the old one. Still gotta go back and clean up a few things, but that'll come in time. Right now im here hanging out with a few friends from work, and with my wonderful and loving grandfather  The Beach Bears

You may be wondering if I'm currently alone in this apartment, and the answer is "good god no! I cant afford the rent by myself! what are you crazy?!" I've made arrangements with a few fur brethren of mine (including a recently converted Armadillo coworker of mine). We should easily be able to split the rent as long as we stay with 3-4 people at a time. I eagerly look forward to rooming up with  Ojikori and  yaegashi as they come in!

sadly im still working at walmart ATM, but I will be putting out new job prospects as time comes, hopefully reaching a new place of employment (if not better).

I eagerly await what the rest of the year will bring me, and hope it goes as well as it can be

The long of it?

Thursday: Took the 3 1/2 hour drive to lancing to stay with  Bobby Thornbody we had a very nice visit, and both his roomates seems to enjoy hanging out with me. Both bob and I went to olive garden to eat, then to gamestop to look around (snagged two vita games ive been trying to get ahold of!)

Friday: Drove the hour up to the hotel and got registered at the con. most of the day was spent saying hey to friends i've been wanting to hang with, and meeting up with new people who are pretty awesome! Also got to see the ever wonderful  NeonSlushie who was very kind enough to make me a badge (a very nice one at that!) after meeting up with Seneca to get my stuff in the hotel room, We went around and attended various panels (including "how to clean your fursuit, something i'm in dire need of making sure to know). Some time around 1 I went to bed. Overall pretty mundane, but I'm not complaining because...

Saturday: THIS is where the con got fun for me. Woke up around 8:30 and went to breakfast with Seneca. Talked abut some stuff and chilled with a few peeps. Then I ran around and met up with a new buddy of mine,  ~Aka~ we talked quite extensively about our rotten luck and then I went and commissioned him a badge. We ran to the fursuit games afterwards and I recorded the hell out of that. Musical chairs and limbo proved to be as amusing as you'd expect, and charades ended with my choice of team winning (good work out there guys)

From there, a quick nap before going to the parade (recorded that too) then some time killed until the best part came up. around 6PM I get a text from my dear old crazy uncle  punkcat It was time for me to don his ever awesome Raccoon suit! after getting myself set up, I ventured out into the world, walking around and being elated by my antics. It feels SO GOOD to wear it, like having a dream come true. After awhile in the antics, I run to lamper's happy hour and participate (being called "roadkill" and before that "Fake Punkcat"). I'm sooooo hoping someone posts a video of that soon, I wanna see how crazy I was!

After those antics, came the very fun and very drunk room party at the con suite. It was a blast getting to hang with such awesome furries and seeing everyone get drunk and be stupid. Also getting to take the head off and show em who the fake punkcat is was amusing to me on a personal level. Before I knew it, it had turn 1pm and I was STILL wearing the suit! oopse....

I excuse myself from the party to find my uncle and return it to him before he charges me with grand theft suit, then return to drink a bit more before 3:30 rolls around and I have to face my bed.

Sunday: The sad sad day I must say goodbye to everyone (also made a DTD for a friend with  Vexser and company). with all the goodbyes said (and a massive thanks to my uncle for NOT getting super pissed off at me) I drive back to bobby's for a nap and a last hug, then the drive home.

Overall, for a first year con this is FANTASTIC! Saturday made every bit of it worth it, and I will definitely choose to go again next year.

A crap ton of thanks once again to my uncle punk cat for loaning me his amazing suit, vexser and company for chilling with me, and the con staff for holding it all together and making it a damn good time.

Just a few things quick before I head to work:

1. Going to GLFC with  xdeadlockfan it will be tons of fun!
2. Before that, visiting  Bobby Thornbody looking forward to seeing that old prickly pear

alright, there's been alot of journal back and forth around here, which is very much unlike me seeing as im generally pretty normal here. The problem is that my original plans for Great Lakes went up in smoke, and I've been trying my damndest to make it work out okay. In addition, I'm moving out soon from my apartment. This has all basically thrown itself on me over the last few days, and I'm doing everything I can to make it all work out

I apologize for the random "doing this, now im doing that" journals, And will hopefully see you all at the con. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll also have my living arrangements for the end of march figured out as well. Way I see it, if I can get an apartment near where I work, I should be okay splitting it all with my coworker (who I recently converted to being a furry).

Forgive me, I am not a man for celebrating christmas. Being so far away from my family, being involved in a hit and run (and being denied any coverage by my insurance) and having to work retail has soured the day to the point of being purely rotten to me. I will not spoil anyone's festivities, instead I shall simply bare my own scars and deal with the problems accordingly

Ok! I just got back from work, and have some lift left in me, so its time to actually give a recap of Midwest Fur Fest 2013

Thursday: My roomate, his friend, and I got in the car and drove 6 hours down to the Hyatt. It wasn't such a bad ride, though sitting there for awhile always makes me antsy. After arriving, I ran in to meet up with my buddies, first finding  foxfencer and then finding my two loving canadians;  Kraton and  Eoathian evening was vastly approaching, and all I wanted to do was my prime directives:

1: HUG ALL THE FURSUITERS!!
2: HUG ALL THE FURSUITERS I KNOW EVEN MORE!
3: take pictures of all the suiters I hug

Instead, we decided to venture around a little bit and get our stuff to the hotel we were staying in (we had to stay in an overflow for thursday). We picked up my buddy  PantherPawz and went to our hotel room relaxing and hugging one another

Friday: First big day of the con, Immidiately ran around hugging all the suiters and getting to see many of my friends. Got to hang out with my favorite scalies  Bismarck and  Kazekoe we all played some cards against humanity and then I ran down to get more hugs in (this will be a recurring theme). Later that day, we all met up with  Ojikori and he would be our roomate. many laughs and snide remarks ensued as we dicked around both the artist alley and dealers den). Later that night, dinner was ordered but I had to run off to the fur media panel (featuring the ever talented  Mavuriku and my buddy  xdeadlockxfan). Ate pizza afterwards and got to see more people I wanted to ( Leon was especially awesome). Later that night we went over to  Stripes-the-Raccoon place to play yugioh and i got a crash course of me getting my ass kicked. At some point I was at the bar with Bis and Kaze as we had a few and debated grammer before we walked to the room to play Contra. Then bed happened.


Saturday: BEST NIGHT OF EVERYTHING GOING ON EVER!! Woke up, got coffee, and played games with Fox fencer. We then went out for a bit and ran around the place as I hugged more suiters. Eventually I ran into Gouka and we ran around having fun and eventually meeting up with my crew. many, many laughs were had (and recorded thanks to kraton) before I finally got my chance to achieve my dream: To be a fursuiter. My dear insane and truly awesome furry uncle  punkcat loaned me his raccoon fursuit. with Kraton leading me around and recording me, I spent 2 1/2 hours of stomping around, feeling like im on top of the world! It was the best thing I did all con, and I was truly happy to do it. Hopefully I have the video soon to post!

Later that night, we all got together with Bismarck to celebrate his career finally taking off, and getting his law license. A few drinks were had, and I found that rum is a bit of a harsh drink for me. I spent a good amount of time after our drinking running around clinging to many, many suiters and otherwise making a bit of an obnoxious mess. I even talked to  WolfPupTK and praised his ear off once more. all was good, all was enjoyable.

Sunday: A sad sad day for me, Headed out and did some more exploring, trying to hang out with as many friends as possible. got to sit and eat with doctor fox at this table, before going out with kraton and company to just explore and share our last time together. later that afternoon, it was time to say goodbye, and i managed to see many of my friends before seeing myself off with my roomate. the last hug given to my dear brother kraton.

it was, the best con ever for me. it cemented my love of fursuiting, and gave me the hope that I can do it. I can be a part of the group, and I have many, many friends who care for me and want to hang out with me all over the world. I feel so much better about myself, and am forever grateful to the people i care for. you are all the best

Should be an easy day for me, short shift at work, and I get to wear my tail and badges. boy wont my work force been surprised to see me. hope everyone enjoys their work day or candy harvest or whatever

Im sure you're going to be reading about a million of these, but if you take the time to read mine, I appreciate it. Ill be giving out a basic rundown of the con, but TLDR IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING! BEST ONE YET!

Thursday: Was picked up by  Bismarck and made our way to the Westin gear in hand. After setting down our stuff, I immediately ran to registration and picked up my badge, all the while getting to see all the people i had wanted to see, and many more I didn't expect to see. This includes special mention to  Kazekoe  Cornbreadv2 ,  coolsilver and a very special mention of happiness to  PantherPawz who finally made it to his first anthrocon.

Friday: Went downstairs and chilled with  hypr at the brown bag cafe. Started to walk around and enjoy ourselves, up until I was ambushed by the ever awesome (and sometimes worryingly ballsy  CrashMcCloud ) we went to opening ceremonies together and just stomped the yard talking and having fun! It was very awesome to get to hang with such an awesome dude. We even went and commissioned  dingoroo with some very fun ideas (of which they came out quite awesome).

Later that night we went our ways for food and I relaxed with my friend Hikaru (Who now has a very adorable rainbow hyena suit, debuted at the con). talking and just otherwise enjoying each others company. I also took the time to see 2's show since he's always hilarious.

Saturday: got breakfast with crash and then made my way to the dealers room to buy some more stuff and prepare for the fursuit parade (one of my favorite events to watch). about a half hour before the event, I ran into someone who would be constantly in contact with me for the rest of the con:  punkcat Wearing his raccoon suit, we had some fun talking to eachother and he bolted for the parade before it started. I recorded the whole thing on my phone, and will be posting that to youtube later. more suiter hugs, friends to find, and hanging out with crash and kazekoe followed.

Sunday: Sunday has always been a particular day for me. always the end of a con, but somehow always special. I woke up early to attend  PepperCoyote concert for his band Look Left. Got front row center seats (in addition to being a half hour early). It was a glorious concert, and they're quite talented!

Next I attended the dance competition (wonderful work to all who participated, though  ImaginarySkye definitely earned that win, great job!) and then attended the only panel I really wanted to see at this con: "using your passion for a good cause" hosted by  WolfPupTK . It was a well done panel, full of good information and some inspiring words from three amazing individuals of the fandom. great job to all of them.

Closing ceremonies soon came, and by that point my mind kicked into overdrive with "I have to say goodbye to everyone!" I frantically ran around trying to get pictures and say goodbye to all my friends, which lead me once again to Cherry. He and I had a wonderful conversation with two other furs about the fandom, and our feelings, and i captured 25 minutes of Cherry letting out his heart and showing me all the good and wonderful things in the fandom. Those words were really, really inspiring, and i plan on putting them on my youtube page as soon as i can.

I continued to run into several more friends, saying goodbye and giving out hugs as much as possible before finally seeing punk cat again. We talked a bit more before he asked me back to his room so he could unsuit. Awkwardly I sat there before he had the idea of "hey, lets see what you look like with my head on" and thus put me in his raccoon suit. It was reaffirming; it made me desire a suit more than ever, and i walked around with it in the room making me feel truly a part of the fandom.

With that in mind, I gave it back to him and went on our separate ways. I took some more pictures, said some more goodbyes (even getting an awesome shot of  Camo_Husky and i), and then went to bed.

getting up to leave sucked, as did the car ride home. However, Having done so much, seen so many friends again, gotten to know so many friends, I feel that finally I have done what I thought was impossible: I have done everything I wanted to do at a con. I have ZERO regrets, ZERO things missed that I wanted to do....It was truly a perfect con for me.

I have so many people I want to give shout outs too, I'll probably end up making a separate journal for it. It was truly a pleasure to get to see all who were there, and great thanks to bismarck for always putting me up in his room each year. I cannot wait for MFF, I cannot wait for 2014 AC, and I cannot wait to achieve my dream of becoming a suiter in this fandom!

I know this is relatively short notice, but  Bismarck and I are looking for one more person for our room for AC. We would prefer to have someone who is on the way (so say close to lakewood ohio or along the highway from michigan so its easier for bis to get.
